The best tour ever
I went on a 2 day safari with my mother and sister.
We had a great time.
Joseph our guide and driver was the best, fynny, friendly, had a good sence of humor and he was smart.
We felt very safe with him.
He told us about everything there is to know about the wildlife in Kenya. He was very respectfull around the animals.
All in all it was the perfect tour.

Unbeatable Value for Money Choice!
We have been searching for a good value for money Safari in Tanzania for the past 3 months, and when we decided to go with Wildlife Oasis Tours, we were little bit afraid since the price was significantly lower than the lowest price we have seen online. We were also afraid that it might be a fraud or something. However, all the people workin there were very professional especially Humphrey in the front office and Jacob our guide. The hotel we stayed in for our first and last night, was just ok, not good and not that bad, very basic (Only People who are looking for Luxury can see this hotel as a negative point) else will be ok. When it comes to the Safari itself, Our guide was the best, he is so much fun, very accommodating and best thing is he loves his job and very professional. We booked for 4 days, 3 nights Safari in Public Camping sites, and our accommodation package was a Tent & Sleeping Bag for the 3 nights. Yet they managed to put us in a room with private bathroom 2 out of the 3 nights. First night, we thought they were mistaken, but apparently, they were generous on purpose! We were planning to camp the second night, in Serengeti in a public camping site, when we arrived there, there was no water in the camp, so our Guide Jacob, made some calls and managed to put us in a 3 or 4 star lodge with a private room and a private bathroom. This was totally unexpected and we really appreciated the effort he did. The only thing that was a bit unsatisfying, was the food at Dinner, most probably because the chef was with us in the car and we arrive to our camp only 1 or 2 hours before dinner time, and he might not had the time to make a delicious meal for 6 PAX. Lunch was always good though.
As a conclusion, this agency is really good, professional and I strongly recommend it to whom are not looking for Luxury stay.
The 200$ per Safari day, including pickup and delivery to the airport, 2 nights stay in a basic hotel before and after the safari, food, accommodation and Jacob (The Guide) is more than perfect.
P.S.: To people who don't know the difference between Expensive and Cheap Safari, It's only the accommodation style and food, cause cars, roots, locations and scenery are the same to all, whether cheap or expensive.
Good luck with your search!

Excellent from start to finish. Great personalised service that provided us with a perfect holiday!
From the very beginning the communication both via email and phone was excellent. Lorna listened to what we were looking for and provided us with some great options to choose from. And even ensured that we were able to keep our schedule in tact despite having to move everything forward by 1-day due to an calendar issue on our side.
Once our trip started it was excellent from start to finish. Our guide Adrian was both a great driver and a great source of information; ensuring that not only we knew about the areas we were visiting; but also pointing out various points of local interest as we move from location to location.
On top of that; the accommodation that we were recommended to use throughout our trip was first class. Great locations and perfect atmosphere/service. They really were the perfect places to relax after a day out on safari or gorilla trekking.
Overall, it was an excellent 5 days; with a smooth process from start to finish. 5 stars for both Lorna, Adrian and the whole Matooke Tours team.

Perfect ! I recommend
We took advantage of a long stopover of 18h in Kenya to organize a Safari Tour in Nairobi National Park. Derrick was always available and friendly either before our departure or on site. We were able to benefit from his advice to prepare our excursion as well as possible, being taken care of from the airport and to benefit from an à la carte program which turned out to be perfect: Nairobi National Park Safari, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage , Giraffe center, Carnivore Restaurant, and finally the superb cultural show Bomas of Kenya before being driven back to the airport. Everything was perfect !

Amazing tour with African Rock Safaris
I had an amazing tour with African Rock Safaris visiting the Sipi Falls, Pian Upe game reserve and Kidepo Valley National Park. It was incredible how close we could get to the Sipi Falls and witness the strong force of nature. In Pian Upe we saw Ostriches and Kidepo National Park was absolutely stunning and simply breath-takingly beautiful. Everything was very well organised, with delicious food and great accommodation. The communication went smoothly, thank you Christopher for organising this perfect trip!

JAMBO KENYA !!
HAKUNA MATATA !!
TEMBEA KENYA !!!
I have always loved to travel , visit new places but Maasai Mara was one of the best holidays i had. And it got even better with our whole experienced guide John from Keshi Tours .
When i thought of taking a holiday, the coast came in mind all the time but this time i thought of something different and Masai Mara was a whole new experience and i loved every bit of it, the bushes, savannah, ,tent stay , food, hospitality, friendly maasai community and best of all.. our "game master" - driver guide: John from Keshi Tours !
Everything was perfectly organized, time-watched over during game drives , food and water in plenty, clean and comfortable-safe accomodation.
The game drives are amazing if you're a nature lover. The experienced and professional drivers will take you in the newly created routes in the bushes and show you a magical world.
I am definitely going back to maasai mara during the wildbeast migration
Thank you John!! Asante sana Keshi Tours

Solo safari trip
I had a great week of exploring a small part of Kenya.
I visited Mt. Suswa and stayed here with a local Masai family. This was the best experience and not touristic at all! I also did a shared group safari to the Masai Mara. Stayed close to the entrance of the park and it was beautiful. And I went on a motorbike safari around Amboseli and I did a private safari to Amboseli.
The motorbike safari around Amboseli was a dissapointment. I barely saw any animals and the animals were also scared of the motorbike so I would not recommend that activity.
I had a wonderdul week and I would recommend charlies travel to organise your trip. Everything was clear and well arranged. Also the daily communication trough whatsapp was good. It's a little bit expensive but it was definitely worth it!

Dishonest and unprofessional
Firstly it is important to understand that Adventure My Take is not a tour operator, but a travel agent. No matter how much the owner of the company, Tamara, will try and convince you that they use their own vehicles and drivers/guides, this is not true. They have only 3 employees, of which one is a driver/guide and who make take guests on tour during the high season. They also handle airport transfers and city tours in-house, but otherwise they will pass you on to whichever company can squeeze you into their van. The other guests’ tour might look very different from yours, but at no point will you be able to get this information from the company, no matter how many times you ask.
But let me start at the beginning. I chose to book my 3-day Maasai Mara tour with this company, as they were very responsive and offered different options regarding accommodation. I did not want to stay in the most basic option, so paid extra to stay in a lodge rather than a tent.
I also arranged all my transfers through Adventure My Take, as it made sense to work with a single service provider while in Kenya. The confusion around my transfers as well as the lack of professionally by the owner raised some red flags long before I went on tour, but as I had already paid a deposit, there was nothing I could do but hope for the best. I had to keep reconfirming my arrival times, the owner of the company was late on both occasions that she transferred me to the airport, she drove erratically and played loud music and generally would not answer my questions about the Maasai Mara trip.
On the departure day I was not driven to their office to complete the payment as per the itinerary, but straight to the departure point, where Tamara proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay additional “service fees”. As this had not been communicated to me at any point during our many emails and discussions, I refused. It was an extremely uncomfortable start to the trip.
After a long day of driving to the Maasai Mara, the other passengers were dropped off at their accommodation. I was however told that my accommodation was another 80 km away! If you have ever been to this region, you will know how long it takes to drive just a few kilometers on the very bad roads and it was inconceivable that I would have to spend another couple of hours getting to my accommodation and then drive back those couple of hours in the early morning to be at the gate for the 6am game drive. I’m sure the hope had been that I would be so tired that I would just agree to stay in the cheaper accommodation, but I refused. The driver was kind enough to contact his boss, who arranged for me to stay at a camp nearby. The quality of the accommodation was still not what I had paid for and the food was not good, but the staff were incredibly kind and did their best to make my stay pleasant.
Although I have nothing but praise for Edgar and Jonathan who work for this company, I would strongly advise against booking a tour with Adventure My Take. Tamara will promise the earth, but she is not in a position to deliver on those promises. She is unprofessional and dishonest and does not care what happens to you once she has your money. Avoid Adventure My Take!

Great Safari at a Great Price!
We only had a short week in Kenya, so we wanted to make the most of our time! Thankfully I found Karibu recommended on another website, so I looked into their safaris. We ended up choosing their 6 day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli private safari instead of the shared/group safari since we would have our own van and accommodations. And let me tell you - this was the BEST decision! We could stretch out in our van, put our bags on the seats, ask for washroom breaks whenever, ask to stop for photos, etc.
Our driver was Edward/Cobra and he was great! When we were in Masai Mara, he used his radio and seemed to know everyone. This helped a lot because they told him where to go to find which animal and/or if there was something interesting going on in a certain area. We got some truly memorable and rare photos because of this! We also felt safe with him at all times which is great when you're in a foreign country and don't feel 100% safe on your own. If you travel a lot, you know what I'm talking about! Edward was also great with communication and planning. He always told us the schedule for the next day, and he even helped us maximize our time in Masai Mara when we got stuck in traffic the first day. If there's one suggestion that I have, it's this: We really enjoyed the facts/information about the city, parks, animals, etc, but please tell us more! You're a smart guy and a true Kenyan, so share your knowledge!
Regarding the accommodations: They're not glamorous or luxurious, but you're paying for a BUDGET SAFARI! You're getting a great deal at a great price! It's more like upgraded camping, so here are the must haves: bug spray, flashlight, book to read, game to play (deck of cards maybe), and snacks. The power also went out at all 3 of our hotels/camps at some point, so remember this - if the power is on, charge your phone, charge your camera, and take a hot shower NOW. Don't wait until later, because the power could be off for any amount of time. Could be 5 minutes or 5 hours.
The food: rice, lentils, beef, chicken, lamb, fish, potatoes, fruit, spinach, and chapati (tortilla/bread). That's what's for lunch and dinner everyday. Not great, not horrible, but it does get a little boring after a few days. Breakfast is typically eggs, toast, pancakes/crepes, and sausage. Usually pretty good!
Remember that since this is a budget safari, you won't be flying at all. Only driving and for hours at a time. Our drive from Nairobi Airport to Masai Mara was about 10 hours, so we were very thankful that we had the whole van to ourselves! The van isn't brand new and it isn't a Land Cruiser, but during our trip we saw several vans AND Land Cruisers stuck in the mud/water. I think your driver is more important than your vehicle! Thanks Edward!
We would definitely use Karibu next time we're in Kenya! Very professional and affordable!
