An unforgettable experience I wish I could repeat.
I miss the sounds of the zebras. They often could be heard yip-yapping in the distance, especially in the morning and the evening.
When Africa is number one on your bucket list, where do you go next? I was beyond lucky to be able to experience this once-in-a-lifetime journey, but please, oh please I don't get to do something this amazing just once.
I tried to be present in every moment, to enjoy every day, and sometimes put the camera down and just watch. There was one moment, while closely viewing a pride of lions, three ladies decided to walk toward our vehicle, each getting closer than the last until the final lionness walked right beside the vehicle staring at each one of us before disappearing behind the rear of our open jeep. Indescribable.
One of the great disadvantages of time is that it keeps marching on, and once that time has passed it cannot be repeated. Sometimes an experience is so perfect all you'd like to do is just repeat it.
The air was warmer than I thought it would be in November, and after a nice long day it was so refreshing to jump into the cool infinity pool near the edge of the fence, and watch the rhinos and wildebeest that lived beyond it.
The people were kind and eager to share their lives with us. I remember moments like our safari walk with James, watching the Maasai dancers, and learning so much from our loyal and informative guides. Some experiences with the Maasai people are so magical I will keep them just for myself.
The food was delicious, so many tastes and smells, of ginger and curry, and bright vegetables. You might ask if they use organic food - of course they do, but they just call it food. If you are not a soup person, don't let that stop you - Kenyans know how to make a great soup.
To be able to finish this trip with a hot air balloon at sunrise was definitely the icing on the cake, to see the lions from above, and the elephants and giraffe. Photos don't do it justice. The hot air from the balloon burner on your neck, the sun in your face, the wind in your hair - floating over the Masai Mara without feeling like you're moving at all.
Please tell me I don't get to do something this amazing just once.
Africa, you are my favorite.

Review about Kenya by mimi~
As a travel agent for Travel Leaders in Plymouth Michigan, I've had the good fortune to be able to travel extensively, and Kenya is the most magical place I've been. I can't wait to send others to this amazing destination.

An experience to remember
The experience of dealing with Matoke from the U.S. was flawless. Lionel Meguma answered our many questions immediately by email and we always felt he was on top of things. The tour was just as we had planned, with some suggestions from Lionel, and our driver/guide was exceptional. Richard Gurisha was a wonderful host from the minute he picked us up at the airport at 2:00AM until he returned us to the airport two weeks later. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, always positive and patient with our many questions. He made this a trip to remember.

Wonderful: The Safari you're looking for, with a good Company to organize it & the best Guide to sup
Safari in Tanzania.
The Safari organization was perfect; lodges and tented camps where we were housed, were cozy and clean, situated in a good location to be always immersed in the bush and with excellent cuisine. Even packed meals (picnic) were plentiful, varied and comprehensive, as well as hot and cold beverages in tow.
Our guide Joseph (Joseph John), ethnic Masai, led us along the tracks of the parks Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, with great local knowledge, expertise and excellent driving capacity to identify and 'feel' the animals: we are always got to see up close and continuously many animals (of course all the big five), even in special situations (coupling of lions, cheetah with puppies, leopard with prey on the tree, etc.). Joseph was always patient and amenable to our requests, full of initiatives in the search for goals, not bothering to leave early in the morning and use all the time of day.
The tour program is qualified by the company that organizes it, while the Safari is made memorable by the quality of the Guide: our experience has been that we have chosen well the organization of Savannah Explorers and have been very lucky to have Joseph John as Guide, very good professional in every aspect and at every moment of the safari, full of attention for us, and also a funny and good person, with good principles. He is a guide that we suggest to ask for, when this is possible.

great experience at our gorilla trekking at bwindi np - we will never forget!
We started the gorilla safari to bwindi np at kampala together with the best safari guide ever - klaus. It was even imressing to see the whole countryside from western uganda, the banana trees and tea plants by driving with the safari bus. On our way trough queen elisabeth np there were many animals like elephants, zebras, water buffalos and tree climbing lions to see. But the highlight was- of course- seeing the gorillas as wild animals in nature! Also the accomdation at bwindi was really nice. And the whole trip was well planned at all. Tank you for these incredable and unforgetable three days!

WS Safaris provided a safe, nice and priceworthy arrangement for the hike of my lifetime.
WS Safaris mobilised a service team staffed with competent, service minded, skilled, nice and helpful people. They took good care of our group from arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport until departure one week later. They provided everything needed for the tour on Kilimanjaro, including good catering and water. The camping equipment was not the fanciest compared to other, more expensive, companies, but it was fully acceptable considering the price. WS Safaris also demonstrated credibility and fairness when calculating the final payment.

All-Around Impressive and Lovely
We had such an amazing 8-day safari with Benson Safaris. I researched and contacted many operators and knew right away that Benson put a great deal of care and attention to detail to make it a special experience; I'm so happy we went with his company. Every aspect of our trip was top-notch; the safari vehicle was one of the nicest we saw at the parks (very comfortable and clean), the tented lodges were luxurious, and our guide (Max) was tremendous. We had so many incredible moments viewing wildlife and Max knew everything there is to know about anything we asked. We're happy we saw Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks (which are just stunning) in addition to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We also loved the beautiful Lake Natron, but it was very warm in October and a long, bumpy journey. We loved meeting Benson both before and after our trip; he is passionate about making your trip to Tanzania once-in-a-lifetime and you will feel very well looked after on his tours. Thank you for an incredible trip, Benson and Max!

Matoke and Easy Travel together made our safari fabulous!
We booked this 12-day tour with Matoke from the USA and all our questions were answered on line. We had a very popular tour company near us in Boston, but they were not flexible with the itinerary, the groups were larger, and more expensive overall. We had a group of 7 in one safari truck. Matoke was very accomodating with our requested itinerary. We had a good mix of accommodations, mid range B&Bs/small hotels and wonderful tented camps. We had a guide that was so fabulous we wanted to take him home! He was attentive to our every need, was extremely knowledgeable, and always made us feel safe. Thank you Richard from "Easy Tours"! Next time we would organize a minimum of 2 night stays in an accommodation, the tour is wonderful but exhausting so packing less often is better. A better daily schedule may have been going out for an early morning drive, return to a hotel for lunch/ rest, then head out again mid- late afternoon/ evening. We were not able to do this because the hotels were too far from the park and if you leave admission may need to be paid again. Something to think about. Overall, the safari was a dream come true!
