Going with Migunga Adventures you are sure to get Great experiences in a safe and personally way.
5/5

On our trip for my 50-birthday Migunga Adventures arranged a tour in the parks of Ngorongoro and Tarangiri and a climb on Kilimanjaro. They did it over our high expectations. Always on time and what ever was promised was accomplished. This was very important and made our trip to "the trip of lifetime"! Highly recommended!

We've been before on safari's, but this one, was the best by far! We booked à 7 days trip trough Tarangire, lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Stuart was an excellent guide and driver. We saw the Big Five! And we were part of the migration of the wildebeest and zebra's. It was very impressive, even beter then on tv and our dreams. The lodges were we stayed, are perfect locations. The views and the food were excellent. We will never forget this trip, and defenitly come back with our kids! We can recommend Afroriginal Safari's

Fantastic Honeymoon!
5/5

Jeff of Avocet Safaris set up an unforgettable honeymoon for my husband and I last summer. He arranged all of the transport, accommodations, safari, Kilimanjaro trek (with a private guide, cooks and porters) and connected us with another great company for our Zanzibar trip. After doing a lot of research, and getting a personal recommendation from a friend of a friend here in California, we booked with Avocet because they were reliable, responsive, and more reasonable than the other tours we looked at. Also, on the way into Tanzania our bags were delayed, and Jeff found them and had them delivered to us! Superb service, and a great value.

Perfect Safari
5/5

Savannah Explorers is an excellent tour operator. Roberto tailored the trip to our needs and answered all our e-mails very fast. We visited Arusha NP, Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake natron (10 days). The lodges/ tented camps we stayed were very nice and pleasently located (especially Kati Kati in the Serengti). George (our guide/driver) was very knowledgable and an amazing animal spotter. We saw all the Big5 and many more. Last but not least, Tanzania is a beautiful country with many stunning national parks! Thanks for everyting!

Lifetime Experience
5/5

My wife and I, mid sixties, have done a wonderful trip to Rwanda with Gorilla Trek Africa. The idea was to see the gorillas and that was done to our absolute satisfaction. Nicholas was always very responsive and full of good ideas while I was organising the trip. Enos, our driver/guide, was most knowledgeable and helpful. We always felt safe and comfortable with him. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator.

Very good safari, with a trustworthy and helpful company, for a good price.
5/5

We had a 4 days/3 nights safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in the beginning of July 2014.

I found Northern Circuit Adventure on safaribookings.com, and after reading the reviews, I contacted Michael in the company. We had a very good contact, and he responded all my questions and offered me safari options afters my preferences. We booked a safari, and did a payment over internet to confirm the booking. This was easy and safe. When I arrived Tanzania and Arusha with my wife, we were picked up at the airport and brought to the office where we met Michael (director in Northern Circuit Adventure). We did the last payment there. In the night we slept in a hotel included in the safari.

Michael was also very helpful when our luggage didn’t arrive with our plane. We put him as a reference for the luggage, and he contacted the airway company, and made sure we received our luggage the next day. Very grateful for this!

On our safari we were 5 person, with one guide/driver and a chef. We drove to lake manyara the first day. The second day we drove to Serengeti, the third day we had a morning drive in Serengeti before going to Ngorongoro crater, we entered the crater the next morning.

The first night we were surprised with a stay in a beautiful lounge. This was not a part of the description of the safari. The other nights we slept in tents, that was also very nice, and we liked the experience very much, as we felt we got closer to the nature. All campsites had showers and toilets. The chef prepared the meals. And they were all incredible!! We don’t know how he managed to prepare all that delicious food! (I normally get a bad stomach when traveling to other continents, but not this time!)

And finally about the safari: Lake manyara was beautiful with it’s many birds and also a lot of animals. Serengeti was amazing. To go from one park to the next will take some hours driving, but it is just to sit back and relax, and enjoy the view. Also remember to enjoy the view of the nature while not seeing animals. The animals will come, but in the meanwhile, the nature and the landscape deserve to be enjoyed. The last day we visited the crater. Without doubt the best day for seeing animals. In the end we saw a lot of lions, zebras, gnus, hippos, elephants, giraffes, we also saw a leopard and buffalos. We were unlucky to not see the rhino – but that is how safari is, sometimes you see animals, sometimes they hide. But in the end we had seen a lot. Very satisfied with the tour, and the guide was excellent when he brought us to the animals.

After the safari Michael drove us to the airport in Arusha. Very good service.

Northern Circuit Adventure is a company I really can recommend. The company with Micheal in charge is trustworthy and helpful and they will at all-time provide the best service possible. The safari was amazing, and there is no reason for choosing others more expensive companies, because you will have an amazing, incredible and unforgettable safari with Northern Circuit adventure. And this you receive for a good price.

Jeep we had was so old, that it stopped in the middle of the savanna at 17:00… they tried to repaired it, then called other drivers and made it work… but it was very bad experience!!!

Overall rating
5/5

We had great weather - even though we visited during the rainy season, the rains managed to hold off until after we had retired to our tents after dinner - which was really nice. We did get caught in a deluge on the river for about 30 minutes one evening - but that was more of an experience than an inconvenience - as we had cover and didn't get wet at all.

I like to fish - and the camp has a pontoon boat for river safaris - I believe generally evening river cruises....fishing rods all rigged and ready to go...doesn't take too much effort to catch something - and there are plenty of different types of fish to catch!

On land we saw hippos grazing (out of the water)....2 packs of wild dogs 18 in one and 8 in the other...successful hunts & stealing an impala carcass from a spotted hyena.....eagle owls, all sorts of hawks, eagles, bee eaters, king fishers, egrets, goliath heron, lion, elephant.

The green season makes viewing a little bit more difficult - but the green color contrast and blossoms enhance the pictures....the private concession camp has the ability to bushwack off road and chase some sightings......not something that can be done in the national parks.

The day and night time temperatures were really comfortable in early March. we were not really ever bothered by mosquitoes or any sort of bugs.

Was a great area to visit....would definitely go back if there were not so many other interesting places yet to visit in Africa!

We even got periodic cell service from Namibia across the river. I wouldnt count on this - but it was a nice surprise to be able to send/receive txts for a few minutes.

Perfect trip and very well organised
5/5

It was fantastic and highly recommended!

At the end of October 2012 we visited South Africa for 19 days, our first introduction to Africa and first Tailor Made Tour.

We started in Cape Town and visited Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape Point, Hermanus, vineyards and did white shark cage diving.

We then flew to Durban and went on safari. We visited five different parks and went on many game drives. We also took part in game walks and safaris on horseback which were both exciting.

We stayed in fun and unique accommodations in beautiful locations, where we were looked after by the guide. If there was no restaurant the guide prepared the meals and also during the game drives we had breakfast and lunch prepared for us in the bush.

In short it was FANTASTIC and it is definitely recommended!

The score: All big five, plus black rhino, hyena, white shark

the perfect trip
5/5

When I decided to plan a two weeks travel to Namibia at the end of April I approached 3 local travel agencies. Nick Buys was the first to reply me and offered some options to arrange quickly a Western Namibia Safari for me and my husband. We decided for a guided tour as it was our first travel in Africa, and we're sure we did a good choice. Nick was so kind in answering to all our questions ,suggesting us places to visit and, at least, planning the trip. Our guide, Kit, was much more than a guide. So kind in teaching us a lot of things about nature, wildlife and history of the Country, and so able to carry us in the best spots during the game drives. After a couple of days it was like to travel with a good friend and we had a lot of fun together. The travel was fantastic, everything was OK, relaxing and interesting. All the places that we visited were so nice and different, with wonderful landscapes from deserts to sandy beaches. Everyday there was something different to see, the lodges were nice and located in gorgeous sites. It’s impossible to say what we liked more …. the deserts, Dead Veil, Swakopmund, 2 nights on the banks of the Kunene River, Etosha, the games, the sundowns…. The only thing we are sure is that we want to come back soon to Namibia to see the Caprivi, arranging the next trip with Nature Travel Namibia again. - Barbara e Paolo - Italy
