Amazing safari in Tanzania
Hi all,
We organized a safari in Tanzania July 2013 with “I Dream of Africa” and it was amazing.
Christopher Samwel was our guide and driver and also he’s the owner of the company. We sorted all the details out by email before the trip, (Dates, accommodation, game-drives within a reasonable total price). He was very patient and helpful and of course he offered better price than many other agencies in Tanzania for the same itinerary.
We spent 6 nights between Taranguire, Serengueti and Ngorongoro National parks, and everything was perfect. Our trip was a private safari for two people in a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 full equipped (open roof, radio and a small fridge to have cold water all the time).
We saw “The Big 5” and we have the opportunity to see the Lions hunting in Ngorongoro (awesome).
I have to say the global service was better than expected: everything on time, (no delays), no problems with the car, and no extra cost for anything during the whole trip. So the safari exceeded our expectations.
By the way, Christopher was been working as a safari guide/driver for more than 20 years, so he knows everything and everyone into the nationals parks. Actually he’s a bird-watcher and biologist expert, therefore he explained to us with a perfect English all about wildlife, eco-system and nature. It was an incredible experience.
Finally I’d recommend this company to everyone who wants to make any kind of safari in Kenya, Tanzania or Zanzibar. It is totally reliable and competent.
Thanks to “I Dream of Africa” and special thanks to Christopher to make for us an extraordinary and unrepeatable safari.

A great adventure and we saw it all
Right Choice Tours and Safaris delivered. We were a last minute large group of seventeen. George delivered. Massaging Mara, Lake Nakura, Amboseli. Each park a unique topography with unique animals. Our lodges, keekorok in Masai mar! Lake Nakura lodge and the sibu safari camping Amboseli were great. Our drivers/guides, Jacob, ken, and Willy’s were all good. We saw the big five and much much more.
Right Choice was the right choice. Thank you.

Wild Planet Safari offered an outstanding experience featuring abundant Wildlife in Krueger
Our four day Safari with Wild Planet Safari at the end of the dry season in Krueger Park surpassed all my expectations. The park and campsites themselves are appropriately developed to offer a comfortable and accessible environment for visitors. If this is to be your first, or only African Safari, I highly recommend Krueger and Wild Planet Safari.
Our Wild Planet Safari with our Guide Ryan and his assistant in a private enclosed vehicle was the perfect choice. We had personalized service and wonderful meals. The information Ryan shared about the animals we saw was extensive. Additionally, Ryan was able to speak knowledgeably about Conservation not only in Krueger but in other parks in southern Africa, South African politics, and culture providing us with a much richer experience than we would have had touring on our own.
The dry conditions meant foliage was sparse which helped in spotting and viewing wildlife. Speaking of wildlife, the abundance and variety of birds and animals we saw continues to amaze me and the pictures I share with family and friends get rave reviews. Ryan's knowledge of the park itself meant he maximized every minute outside the campsite gate and visits to all the best animal viewing spots.
If you go, Go with Wild Planet Safari. Get your self an Animal guide Book because it is the ONLY way you will be able to keep track of every animal you see. Take the Morning Ranger led Bush Walk to spend time on the ground walking the trails used by the animals. You may not see ALL the animals you traveled to see but you will see far more animals/birds than you ever imagined you would.

Going to Kenya was a grand adventure!
We booked our trip with O.T. of Kenya Walking Survivor Safaris. O.T. and I exchanged many emails prior to the visit and we got everything set up just as we wanted it. We were met at the airport and stayed a couple days in Nairobi prior to going out on the road with Albert. We felt very safe with Albert at all times and he was attentive to what we wanted to see and do. August was a great time to go to Kenya, temperatures were very pleasant. We saw the entire Big 5! We also visited a couple tribes and an orphanage. There was one issue with a lodge, which I think O.T. has now taken care of and we were refunded for the part we overpaid for it. Bottled water was provided for us the entire journey and we got boxed lunches daily from the lodge when we were on the road. We took a hot air balloon ride which was spectacular, followed by a lovely breakfast set up in the bush. What an experience!

wonderful experience
My husband and I, did a safari, from August 25 to September 3 through the parks of Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was a wonderful experience, our guide Ibrahim was fantastic, the lodge beautiful, especially the Roika Lodge and Kati Kati Lodge, great food and a wonderful hospitality. About Roberto and Greyson both very kind.
Thanks for everything

Worth every cent ....
The trip was amazing from start to finish. Our guide Nick was knowledgeable and kind and considerate of my teen. They formed a great bond and despite varying weather she had the time of her life. We saw the big 5 and Nick went out of his way to ensure that all members of our tour had all their needs met. The accommodation as great, very comfortable beds, food was amazing, and despite our animal loving approach we tried the meat and it was exceptional.
Nicks knowledge of not only Kruger but Africa in general made our trip (even the car ride) so interesting and informative. He is an amazing man who knows just about all there is to know about his country and its wildlife. The trip was suppose to be a once in a lifetime event but have already booked a return!

I thought I knew Ruaha but... no...
Afriroots organised for us a camping safari in Ruaha, then a few days including walks in Eastern Usambara, in the Amani Reserve. I should first say, I knew both areas, or at least, I thought I knew them, having been there when I used to live in lovely Tanzania years back. Well... I had still a lot to discover, thanks to Afriroots. Faultess organisation and flexibility to accommodate our laziness at time, safe drivers also experienced in the areas we travelled in, wonderful 'camping with a difference' atmosphere in Ruaha, excellent and inventive cook (I'm a vegetarian), what else... I recommend Afriroots for all those who want to have this unique experience of a breakfast with a giraffe being interrupted by an elephant and Katuku, our driver, switching on the car engine to make sure that... we could continue to eat while watching whether really... the elephant was scarred enough for a little while. A GREAT TIME,

Seeing elephants wander through the plains in the pouring rain makes me rate our safari 11/10.
This was one of my favorite experiences E V E R and let me tell you why:
- We visited four places (Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara) and all of them were different in terms of landscape and animals. The endless plains of Serengeti really are endless and nothing beats the surreal feeling of being small and overwhelmed by the vastness of this park. Tarangire is golden, the combination of baobab trees and elephant families is everything. Ngorongoro gave us apocalyptic vibes and was home to hundreds of zebras and buffalo. Lake Manyara changed my hate to monkeys to eternal love to monkeys (baby monkey riding on its mom's back? COME ON).
- Camping is cool, especially if it's in the middle of nowhere. And toilets are really fine!
- Our cook's cooking was impressive. Making pizzas, quiche and tarts in the field kitchen? I couldn't even make a sandwich there.
- Our guide Prayer was the kindest. He was genuinely happy when we managed to spot all the exciting animals and made us feel really welcome and taken care of.
11/10 would recommend!
