What an incredible experience that I'll never forget!
5/5

I now realize how lucky I was that my first visit to Kenya, and indeed Africa, was with Sylvester. Quite simply, Kenya is in his blood and you would not want to go on Safari without his key briefing. His passion and endless energy made everyday of the trip so enjoyable. Every moment was an exciting lesson on Kenyans beautiful wildlife and landscape. I would not consider going on safari without Sylvester leading the way. I highly recommend that you take his tours and recommendations for places to stay and visit while on your trip to Kenya.

From the moment we arrived until our departure we were well looked after and always informed about all aspects of our trip. I would recommend Simba Safaris to anyone thinking of taking a safari in Tanzania.

Wonderful Service & Holiday
5/5

The trip was amazing! Thank You so much for you help!!! From the initial planning to the end, it was easy and efficient with Chris. We loved it.
Unfortunately no bait balls or much action at all down in Port St. Johns. The diving at Aliwoal Shoal was great though, and we enjoyed the time with the whales and dolphins.
The SAFARI however was INCREDIBLE!!!! The lodge was spectacular and we saw everything we hoped to see and more... the best part of the trip for sure.. Amazing place!
We got heaps of great photos and endless memories :-)
We had so much fun and already ready to go away again...hahaha

So happy we found your website as your knowledge helped us plan a trip we'll never forget.. Would recommend your service to friends and family, and already thinking about our next trip.

A trip of a lifetime
Overall rating
5/5

Warning. This type of safari is not for everyone. If you are disturbed by being woken in the middle of the night by lions calling next to your tent, or the calling of hippos throughout the night, or elephants making themselves at home in your campsite, then this safari is not for you. But, if you are like me, and love the thought of sleeping in the middle of the African bush (without fences ), then this is the trip of a lifetime.
Our first night, we had hippos passing by our tent, and elephants quietly snapping branches beside us. I'll admit, even though I've done these type of camping safaris before, it still takes a night to reaclimatize to the sounds of the bush. And to be woken in the morning by a lion calling directly behind my tent? AMAZING! The scenery is great, and the sightings top notch. The only one of the big 5 that is sadly absent is the Rhino. But definitely worth going. We stayed at Linyanti adventure tented camp, and the staff there were amazing. Our guide Francis, supplied by Wilderness safaris, is one of the most experienced guides I have ever met. He has superhuman tracking skills, and his quiet, confident manner had us all relaxed and happy. I was only in Linyanti for 3 days (of a 10 day camping safari), but they were an amazing 3 days that will never be forgotten.

Perfect Kilimanjaro Climb
5/5

Java Safaris planned and booked our 8 night/9 day climbing adventure on Kilimanjaro for my son, another family member and me. The trip went flawlessly and the staff at Java made sure everything was in order. Catherine at Java answered a million questions before the trip with patience and precision. The accommodations before and after the climb were luxurious and the mountain guide was excellent. Professional, well trained and well equipped. I have already recommended Java Safaris to many friends and family back home.

Well organised, saw everything
5/5

Arrived at Kilo Airport from Nairobi and met by local guide, David. To Lake Manyara and accommodation at the Serena Lodge with beautiful views over the Lake from the escarpment. Next morning toured the National Park with plenty of baboons, elephants, impala, hippos and pelicans with flamingos in the distance. In the afternoon off to the Serengeti with brief view of Ngorongoro Crater on way through. At Serengeti stayed at the Sopa Lodge. Next day saw lions very close up within metres, thanks to knowledge of our guide, seemed very good at spotting wildlife I would never have seen. Saw resident herds of zebras and elephants, although the main wildebeest migration had made it up to Masai Mara due to early rains this year. Saw a cheetah cross the road immediately in front of us, and a leopard in a tree about 50 metres off the road. After Serengeti we travelled back the next day to Ngorongoro to stay at the Sopa lodge there perched right on the rim of the crater. Saw rhino about 5 km away, unfortunately well off the road, and a male and female lion who had just decided to lie down and have a sleep right next to the road! The traffic jam of vehicles jockeying for the sight didn't phase them at all ! Amazing ! . Next morning early departure to make it to Arusha Airport by 12 pm.
Flew via Precision Air again in their ATR72 aircraft to Zanzibar where we stayed at the Tembo House Hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Once there spent 3 days doing the Spice Tour, and boat trip out to Prison island off Stone Town.
David a friendly guy, with good rapport with other guides, which led to sharing info on where to find the wildlife. Happy to recommend Best Camping Tours & safai to anyone wanting to visit the National Parks in both Kenya and Tanzania

Couldn't have asked for a better tour operator!
5/5

We heard of Java via friends and after emailing with Java for a tailored trip we decided to go with them: as we have never done this type of trip before and we were spending a lot of money we had quite a few questions. Java answered all of them personally within a day. Our trip was completely tailored to our needs and budget with loads of good suggestions from their side. Even after everything was finalised and paid for Java informed us that the migration moved quicker than anticipated and emailed us different options in order to still experience the migration to the full. It showed they have really good connections with all the different lodges and accommodations and we were told by locals that they are well respected amongst the guides and locals.
Everything was very personal; we were greeted by one of the owners of Java on arrival with drinks and on the last day they came over to see how our experience was and if we had any feedback. There was nothing they could have done better! They really take the time for you and are dedicated to make your trip the best you will ever experience. Our tour guide Boniface was excellent and no drive was too far for him. Where as big tour operators tend to stay close to the camps in order to save fuel, Boniface would keep driving until he found what we would love to see; leopards, a kill; we saw it all multiple times!!

My advice to anyone here looking for a reliable and good tour operator; go with Java Safaris, it will exceed all your expectations!!!

Fantastic and Unique sightings of wildlife in Serengeti/Ndutu
4/5

From landing in Kilimanjaro to Arusha air strip, onwards to Serengeti and Ndutu, I had a fantastic trip in Tanzania, thanks to '7 Wonder Safari's' organisation. Hadsome unique leopard, cheetah and lion sightings including seeing lions on trees (which was my dream) in addition to several other photo opportunities…..Thanks to Julieth and her team.

Hope to be back soon!
