Great memorable trip. Perfect organization. Fantastic guide in all aspects (thanks Cornel)
5/5

There were no problems during the trip. Everything worked perfectly: Cleanliness, punctuality, Great Hotels, vehicle. Much of the success of the trip was the guide. Cornel speaks English and Spanish perfectly. Localized animals away with astonishing ease. Sympathetic. With environmentally conscious. He loves his country. Polite and discreet. Drive safely. Highly recommended agency and guide

Perfectly cost-effective and excellent customer service!
4/5

We had a 5-day budget safari in an excellent price and we were very pleased with pretty much everything. The food was good and our guide was experienced and knew a lot about the animals and wildlife. We also saw a lot and the route was well-planned!

We stayed in camp-sites and slept in tents so warm clothes and some adventurous spirit were needed and there was not much room in the car for any extra luggage. However the car itself was clean and comfortable.

The customer service gets full five stars! The company replied all our emails and questions fast and provided a good accommodation in Arusha and also helped us with other things e.g getting buss tickets.
The company was also very flexible with the payment as we had trouble with getting dollars.

All in all nothing luxurious or fancy - but excellent customer service and very enjoyable and wonderful safari!

Tanzania Safari 11 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro 20-30 may 2014
5/5

The organisation of the safari communication, travel, accommodation and food was excellent. We travelled in a small convoy (3 vehicles)and we felt safe at all times. Our driver Hubert Modest was a very good driver, had a wide knowledge of the animals and their habits and where to find them. He added immeasurably to our enjoyment of the safari. We would recommend this safari to all.

Wonderful company! Fabulous experience!
5/5

We can't recommend this tour group highly enough! Before our trip, we were easily able to communicate directly with the owner Brian and his colleague in the US, Ken, to customize a two week tour just for the six of us. Sammy was our guide - highly knowledgeable, patient with those of us who kept telling him to stop for yet another picture, reliable, and very entertaining. Sammy could identify every bird and beast we saw, had a great eye for photography, and knew right where to situate our vehicle for the best animal viewing! Brian's tented camp in the Serengeti was one of our favorites - the food was great and the service excellent (including someone to do our laundry!), not to mention the wildebeests and zebras everywhere. We'd highly recommend a trip to Lake Natron where you can see thousands of flamingos and hike to a beautiful waterfall on the Ngerasero River. And be sure to hike down into Empakai Crater. And finally, definitely go hunting with the Bushmen and stop to meet the Datoga tribe. Ecological Wilderness Adventures truly made our trip the experience of a lifetime. Call or email them if you have any questions. They will be quick to respond.

Amazing Trip - Fantastic Team at Naenda!
5/5

My friend Adrienne and I went on a 3-night, 4-day safari with Naenda last month, and I couldn't recommend this team more highly. Abidan, the manager, was so helpful in arranging everything we wanted (including a trip up to Lake Natron to see the flamingos), and coordinating with me back here in the states (while my travel companion was living in Rwanda). We organized a private tour, and couldn't have been happier with our circuit, which included Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater, Serengeti, and ended with Lake Natron.

Our driver, Juma, and our cook, Machinaa, were both wonderful. Juma was extremely knowledgable about the animals (maybe even more impressive because my friend is a conservation biologist and very knowledgable herself), and Machinaa was so friendly, light-hearted, and a great addition to our little team.

Abidan and the team at Naenda goes above and beyond in every aspect to make sure you have a wonderful trip. They even had cots for us when we camped at both Serengeti and Lake Natron sites - what a treat!

I have recommended Naenda already to several friends planning trips to Africa, and encourage you to use them yourself.

Thanks again Abidan, Juma, and the entire team at Naenda, for making my first safari the best trip ever!

Zimbabwe! 2 weeks, 3 parks: lizards, lions, camping, walking, learning, laughing!
5/5

My 3rd time in Zim with Mike & Bernard of Khangela Safaris. These guys never disappoint! Nobody can find a lion like Bernard can! Between the driving, the walking, the cooking and the tracking of animals, every trip with Khangela brings me back to life when I have had too much of the modern world. I sleep better in those tents and on those mattresses than anywhere else. The food was fabulous (and I am a vegan), the company was great fun and we saw giraffes, ground horn bills, lions and more lions, cave paintings, elephants all over the place, and buffalo (on cue). My personal highlight?: I had a wonderful hike over the summit of a lichen-covered whale-back at sunset in the boulder-filled splendor of Matopos park which I will never forget! Bernard works magic, Mike is organized and tirelessly funny. A creative, functional low-impact camp set-up which is a joy to wake up in and return back to daily. I'll be back.

Looking forward for new travels with Philip and Africa Windows Safaris & Tours
5/5

The safari was tailor made and we had a tour of Namibia for 10 days visiting the most impressive places of the country. We will never forget the "Living Desert Experience" and the Etosha Park, but, most of all, we will never forget of Philip. Sitting at dinner listening to his fantastic experiences was amazing and we are really looking forward to come back and have new trip with him in the future. Moreover, we had to store medicine during the trip and Philip arranged everything perfectly, there were no "bad" surprises at all.
Thanks again,
Luca & Valeria

A personal touch helped create a perfect honeymoon
5/5

Rose from The Luxury Safari Company was most helpful in contacting me to discuss various options for our honeymoon, and was very open and honest in her recommendations based on our budget and desires. She very efficiently amended booking details due to unforeseen circumstances without blinking an eye. We booked with The Luxury Safari Company with utmost confidence based on her dealings with us, and this turned out to be well placed confidence - the trip was seamless and was exactly as she had described (in fact, better!). We will recommend Rose to anyone looking to book an African tailored safari experience.

Super tour
5/5

We could not have picked a better tour operator than Tailor Made Safaris.
First of all they advised to limit our travel distance instead of doing all of Africa in one trip so we would have more time to enjoy our expeditions within the three weeks of holiday we had available, but secondly we only briefly mentioned we would celebrate our 40th aniversary with this trip and they managed to raise special focus to this by all lodges we visited, which made our tour so much more memorable. We had great sightings of the big 5 wildlife thanks to the expert knowledge and skills of all safari guides. Very good mix of lodges, from fairly basic to fine luxury places, just the way we liked to experience and all located in places with limited numbers of visitors, but maximum numbers of animals to see. Travel distances never too far, always an easy drive, pre-programmed GPS provided by Tailormade Safaris, as well as an emergency handy phone with African number to limit cost (if any). Very friendly staff everywhere, trying to make life as comfortable as possible for the guests.

Brian is a superb guide with excellent knowledge and skills. He showed us a fantastic array of animals and provided us with much information about the area. His accommodations were fine, food good and staff outstanding. Would love to return.
