Absolutely amazing experience with Vundi and his team
5/5

Here you go,

Vundi Kashamba is an amazing safari guide, the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot as I’ve travelled the world for 20 years on safaris.

Vundi’s understanding of animal behaviour is unlike any guide I have experienced. He knows what the animals will do in advance and he positions the vehicle to maximise the photographic moments.

Vundi guided me twice on visits to Duba Plains in Botswana and I cannot recommend him enough.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with High Neck Safaris
5/5

I am writing this review to express my heartfelt thanks to the High Neck Safaris team for an extraordinary safari experience in Tanzania.

As a tourist from China, I was not familiar with SafariBooking, but I decided to give it a try for my safari adventure. After considering my itinerary, comfort level, and budget, I came across the High Neck team's project on SafariBooking, and that's how my safari story began.

In the initial contact process, after informing High Neck of our arrangements and special requests, we quickly received a response from Zakaria, a salesman from the Highneck Safaris team. After a few swift email exchanges, we finalized our itinerary and pricing, which I must say was very reasonable!

Our Safari Experience:
Edward was our safari guide, and his professionalism and talent for finding animals were exceptional. We had expressed a desire to see lions, and Edward made sure we encountered various prides in different states. His patience and willingness to answer our questions enriched our understanding of Tanzania's landscapes and culture. Edward's diligence in cleaning the safari vehicle daily ensured a fresh experience every day. His efforts did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

Post-Safari Adventure:
After our safari, we booked a day hike to Mount Kilimanjaro with Daniel as our guide. Daniel's enthusiasm and preparation, including bringing a Chinese national flag, made our experience at Mandara Hut particularly memorable and emotional.

Accommodations and Transportation:
Zakaria's arrangements for our accommodations allowed us to experience the warmth and high level of service in Tanzania. The hotels were impeccable, and the dining experiences were delightful. Transportation was smooth, and we appreciated not having to worry about logistics.

Choosing High Neck for our Tanzania safari was a fortunate decision that led to a flawless and unforgettable experience. I am grateful for the service provided by High Neck and would undoubtedly choose them again if given the opportunity. I wholeheartedly recommend High Neck Safaris to anyone looking for an exceptional safari experience.

Excellent
5/5

We made an unforgettable trip with Plex Africa Safaris!
In our case it was a 2-day and 1-night safari to Nyerere Park.
Everything was great, communication with Plex Africa Safari was via WhatsApp and at all times it was fluid and they responded quickly.
Special mention to our guide “Jafari”. An enthusiastic person who knows how to transmit his knowledge about the fauna, flora and local life.
Jafari made our safari very special.
Our driver Eugene took us around the national park in a very professional, pleasant and fun way too!
And “The Famous” Buba was our guide on the visit to the local village, thanks to him, the visit to the school will be unforgettable for us!!
(Please do not forget to bring school supplies, they will appreciate it very much)

Things to improve:
-In general the food (both on the safari and at the hotel) was very basic and without options, without variety, and just the right amount.
I say this because the safari is a “private safari” and these details are more of a low-cost safari.
-The changes, they changed the time of the return flight up to three times, and that generates stress, which is what you do not want on your vacation.

In short, Plex Africa Safaris has made our safari an unforgettable memory for life, (with small details to improve)

We want to thank the entire team at -Plex Africa Safari:
-Edward Makundi, Plex AS
-Eugene, driver
-The Famous Buba, local guide
-The gentleman from the safari boat (we laughed a lot with him)
-And especially Jafari, our guide for those two unforgettable days.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Raúl and Blanca

Fun with Lambs
5/5

I recently enjoyed a fantastic tour in with a guide named Lambs with our trip to paronamic tour. His extensive knowledge and vibrant personality made the experience truly memorable. He infused humor into the tour, keeping the atmosphere light and engaging, which enhanced our understanding of the sites we visited. Lambs' passion for the city and its history was evident, making the tour not only enjoyable but also educational.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about going back to Africa with Vundi
5/5

Vundi is an amazing guide. The best I've ever seen. By far. I was very excited about my trip to Africa. It was a dream of a lifetime. I had read a little and watched a couple of shows, to get an idea of what to expect. Vundi blew all that out of the water. He knows the animals and showed us the Big 5. (I later learned that not everybody gets to see all of them on the same trip). But Vundi knows so much more than that. He knows ALL of the animals, from the smallest insect to the largest elephant. He can read their tracks - calls it his morning newspaper. He can read their scat and will teach you things about the animal that you would have never thought to ask. He knows their habits, their patterns, their ways, their diet, their tendencies. He has almost a sixth sense for finding them, and anticipating where they will go next so you can watch them and get great photos. He knows the birds - by their sight, by their sounds, by their habitat. He knows the plants - the trees, the grasses, the flowers. He has an uncanny understanding of the entire ecosystem and will take the time to show you how it all works together. Vundi is a great teacher and he clearly loves what he does. He is a wonderful steward of nature and works hard to preserve it for all to enjoy.

Vundi is not only knowledgeable and a great teacher. He is an absolute pleasure to be around. I was thoroughly impressed with his insight to our needs. He welcomed every question and was a wealth of information, whether it was about the ecosystem, the weather, the history, the politics, the night sky, photography - he is an amazing photographer. I could tell that before I ever saw him with a camera in his hand. He would use all these skills - find the animals, predict where they were going next, drive to a perfect location, taking into account the direction of the sun and the shadows and the background... all in a matter of seconds - and position the vehicle - and the photographer - in the perfect position to get great shots, and with plenty of time to set up. It was amazing. Once he did have a camera in his hand, I got to see what he could do with it. He is a very skilled photographer in his own right.

We all felt very lucky to have Vundi guide us on our trip. He instilled a love for and an understanding of the Okavango Delta and its many treasures. I think every day about the day I will go back. And when I go back, it will be with Vundi.
