The elephants were absolutely amazing! In Lake Manyara, they got so close to the car that I could almost reach out and touch them. Tarangire had the best balance of wildlife!

Family safari
5/5

My husband and I waited for some years for our grils to grow up a little bit and to start travelling a little more again. So for our first holiday together with a 6 and 8 year old girls we had a lot of expectations, bit also fears and questions. Nataša from Shadows of Africa really made a difference. She did not just arranged the safari that was ok for children and still very interesting for us, and get us the perfect guide and person Tim, but arranged our whole holiday. We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Olpopongi masai village and Zanzibar; Stone town and Kendwa beach. She booked all the right hotels for us and got us plane tickets and all transfers so we had no worries at all. All we had to do was enjoy! And we did, very much. I highly recomend them!

About: Tanzania
breathtaking experience with surprising comfort
Overall rating
5/5

The accommodation is somewhat surprising in comfort if you think, where you are located. It is clean, WC and shower work really good and the mudhuts still give you this feeling of being in the nature (well, you are: water hogs disturbing your sleep prove it).
The safaris where lifetime experiences:
Boat safari on the nearby river showed a lot oft hippos, some crocodiles and a great variety of coloured birds plus a nice sunset.
Jeep safari (private tour) brought us really close to a lot of giraffes, impalas, bucks, some water hogs, lions, hyenas (even with babys) and even some elephants and a buffalo.
The experience was rounded up by a walking safari, which revealed some really interesting things about animal-poo, termites and bird nesting sites.
The food was really good (no luxury, but just good tasting!) and the staff was more than kind.
Our guide (shout out to Deo) made this trip even more unforgettable than the animals it selves would have done. He explained so many things to us, blew our minds more than one time and really did manage to make this safari fitting our needs. Thanks a lot!

Unforgettable experience!
5/5

Hello, we are an italian young couple that booked the whole safari online thanks to the kind help of Esmail who suggested us the best option according to our needs, desires and budget.
The safari started on the 18th August from Arusha, the driver, Nurdin, picked up us at the hotel with an amazing and very comfortable jeep (Toyota Land Cruiser) and he had started to explain us many things about Africa, Tanzania, lifestyle and of course, about the savana and the safari we were just starting.
We were so thrilled about seeing "the big 5" and feeling the real African wildness.
After an extraordinary route to Ngorongoro Crater (we also stopped in a Masai village) we arrived in Serengeti National Park where we slept 2 nights in a whortly wild lodge in the middle of the park, Seronera area (Kati Kati Camp);in Kati Kati camp you can feel and live the real Tanzania thanks to the animals that during the nights passed across the tends. Just one word: fantastic!
The day after we had had the game drive in Seronera and we were very lucky: we had seen all of the big 5!!! The driver always gave us information about animals, plants and the Savana and he was much helpful and kind to us. The following day we drove to Ngorongoro Crater where we saw the fantastic gnu and zebra migration and so many animals including the rhino. We slept in Octagon Lodge in Karatu, near Lake Manyara where the day after we had the last but non least game drive.
The accomodations and the food were always in line with our expectations; the driver and the guides were helpful and always dedicated to us and our needs.
For the total of 1600 km on route we can go on record as saying that the safari was an incredible and unforgettable experience and we strongly suggest it with "Safari Big 5".

World Class Tour Operator.
5/5

Me and my husband had a 3 days private safari to Masai Mara to witness the great migration. I had contact with Savannah Jamboree Travel to book for the game drives and balloon safari in the park. The response to my enquiry was urgent and the budget was reasonable. After we arrived in Nairobi, we were picked at the airport, transferred to our hotel where we rested waiting for our safari the next day. We visited the great Rift valley, lake Nakuru and Masai Mara which marked an awesome safari experience. I have carried lots of photos with me. Great country and great people. Thank you for your quality services.

I thank Asili Safari Explorer for providing an excellent private tour for me in Tarangire and Ngoronoro, at a short notice and good price. The guide took effort to find interesting sightings, including more than 10 lions and a Rhino. Highly recommended.

We came to Tanzania for our honeymoon!! We went around in Terenghire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. We are not able to explain the experience. Lions, elephants, hippos and all the animals you have in your fantasy so close that you could touch them. Daniel helped us from the beginning to the end with all our needs and Moses guided us by car around the whole period!!! They are simply great!!! Now we are friends!!! They helped us to understand Tanzania, the culture, the tradition and the habits of all animals!! They are well-prepared and they give you assistance for all things you should know.
We submitted them a desire they gave us A DREAM!!!!
NEVER LIVED A SUCH COOL EXPERIENCE!!!!

I very much appreciated how responsive, easy to communicate with, and accommodating Ute was throughout the planning of the trip. This was our first safari and it surpassed all our expectations. An incredible experience. Everyone we met on our trip was helpful, professional and welcoming. I can highly recommend Roho Ya Chui.
