Very nice experience!
4/5

We have done 4 days on safari at Kruger. The organization of the trip by plane until the last day to La Digue (Seychelles) was everything perfect. In particular in South Africa at Kaiatani Lodge, the reception was fantastic. Alberto has conducted all the guides to safari: very prepared and addictive! Africa there has remained in our heart ..... we will definitely be back! South African Dream ..... to the next!

With Kiliholidays safari, we went for a 3-day trip in Mikumi and udzungwa. In mikumi, we didn't have the chance to see the lions but seeing the elephant was great. The driver and guide was very nice and welcoming. I definitly recommend Camp Bastian for hosting in the region : great meals, great service and very nice rooms.

South-Africa, a short visit
Overall rating
4/5

I had a great time in South-Africa. Impressed about the accuracy of both SafariBookings and Viva Safaris. The accomodation was fine, food was good, people very nice and helpful. The only thing about my accomodation was that, because I was single and had probably the ensuite of a family-room, there was no tea/coffee arrangements and no bottles of water in the room. And I dearly missed a chair, hooks to hang some cloth. The chair I asked for and was supplied immediately.
The fact that it was very cold in the morning and not always blankets in the cars made the travelling on and forth sometimes unpleasant, but allover I had a pleasant stay!

Went to the Selous Nature Park and stayed at the Serena Mivomu River Lodge flying from and back to a hotel in Zanzibar. Every part of this trip was expertly arranged. The flight was in a single prop plane landing on a dirt strip - an experience on it's own! The lodge was built in a way that was sympathetic to the landscape at plant life but came with a five star amenities and service. As many game drives or boat trip as you chose were available and all were with very informative guides. The food was great and plentiful with a dated printed menu for each meal. The weather in August was very pleasant as it is not too hot.

Amazing Masai Mara
Overall rating
4/5

Our Safari, organized by African Scenery Holidays, was great: we had a 4 days safari (Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru), but actually we had game drives 2half days and a full day.. it was enough as Masai Mara was full of animals! we saw many lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, ostriches, pumbas, timons .. and a white rhino in lake Nakuru. We also visited the Maasai village and it was very interesting.
our safari was a budget one but we saw as much animals as the luxurious safaris.
The tended camp we stayed in was basic, and the food monotonous, we had to change driver many times as the travellers in our van had different itinerarys (maybe longer or shorter safaris than our), but it was ok.
The communication with our tour coordinator Fredinah was excellent, both before and during and even after the safari. She was always on hand to answer questions and reachable anytime. After the safaris we moved to the coast and this part of trip was for self organized, but she was still available to help us when we needed. We felt we had a secure support and a person to trust in, and it was very reassuring. Thankyou Freedinah!

Tanzania:a land that left us an indelible mark in our memory. And for all this we must thank "A.T.A"

Dedicated to all of you that breathe AFRICA. Tanzania: discovering a timeless wild land.
- Here you can find the big lakes of Africa, the highest mountain of che Black continent (Kilimangiaro), the Great Rift Valley and an expanse of Indian Ocean.
- All of nature, its ecosystems and its rich fauna are definitely represented all over the 14 national parks and nature reserves: 25% of the territory is a protected region.
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area formed 2,5 million years ago. it is the largest caldera in the world and one the African marvels of nature.
- Serengeti National Park: listed by UNESCO among the sites of the World Heritage and declared as Biosphere International Reserve, this park is chosen as migration land by an amazing quantity of animals that every year move through this territory. We're talking of millions of herbivores, mainly zebras and gnus.
It this first safari, that won't absolutely disappoint you. You have chosen the right destination, it will take your breath away.
It has been a sa-fà-ri (in Swahili language) that means "journey", it was unforgettable: starting from Lake Manyara, directed to Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Easy, Tarangire, Marangu to see the Chagga people, where you can find the "door" to get to Kilimangiaro summit and finally, after 15 days of traval, Arusha.
We went to Tanzania in August, it is not exactly the right period to benefit of the migrations, but we saw anyway an amazing quantity of animals. Thousands of zebras and gnus as far as the eye can see, an enormous quantity that could cover all the territory of Serengeti and Ngorongoro next to their predator "friends".
Keep in mind that Tanzania is one of the most expensive area in Africa, there are wonderful lodges but we decided to live our experience in close contact with nature. If you don't have spirit of adaptability, don't do camping (tent and sleeping bad) as we did. Entry fees to the parks are very expensive, but in consideration of the beauty of this country you'll forget this thing soon!! Moreover, to avoid sinking in the sand, a 4x4 car is needed, otherwise it could be very difficult to move from one park to another.
- A journey is more than a vacation: it brings you intense, deep, unique emotions.
- A journey enriches you, gives you new perspectives and opens new horizons.
- A journey is the best investment, cause it makes your dreams come true.
- A journey stays forever, within you

Absolutely amazing, better than expected. Saw the big 5 more than once. Ample animal species to view. And many close up encounters with lions and cheaters. Elephants galore and even the scarce leapords.
Nakuru, Masai Mara, Hell’s Gate and Amboseli made for a Safari that did not disappoint. Thanks Kenya for sharing.

We did a four day safari, taking in Tarangire, the crater and Lake Manyara. Tarangire was fantastic with lots of wildlife to see. If you only have a day this would be a great place to visit.

There are plenty of taxis available for getting around easily and safely.

About: Kenya
Great but way too many hours in the safari vehicle driving between the different parks.

Great wildlife and our accomodation, Losokwan, was above our expectations. Simple but we had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We very really in the middle of everything! Elephants and buffalos right outside our tent during the nights. 5 hours drive to Lake Nakuru from Masai Mara was ok and the lodge; Flamingo Hill was very nice and with a pool. Great staff. Wildlife ok but we preferred the open landscape in Masai Mara. 9,5 hrs drive from there to Amboseli; not ok. Exhausting drive through Nairobi and the camp; Zebra Plains Amboseli camp was not at all as expected. Dirty, dusty, hardly no furnitures and showed no resemblance with the pictures on their webpage. However, very nice staff. Wildebeest safari had a very nice driver but he was not really interested in what we wanted to experience. It felt like he rushed through the parks. All in all; a 5 out of 10 for the whole safari-experience. Sadly...
