FAMILY-LIKE TREATMENT
5/5

After COVID travelling arrangements eased, we were able to finally secure a flight to SA and enjoy an incredible Safari with Shikwaru Adventures. After reviewing hundreds of Safari tours we decided to settle with Shikwaru given a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed!

Since the start of the tour until the end, we never felt like guests to the hosts, rather like if we had known each other all of our lives. My wife and I enjoyed being treated as great friends from Shikwaru. This helped out in putting as at ease while we were exploring the landscape and discovering all the wild animals.

I would really recommend Shikwaru for anyone looking for a more intimate discovery of South Africa! Thank you again!

Go Touch Down Travel & Tours organizes amazing trips that make memories of a lifetime.
5/5

Our Go Touch Down South Africa Safari and Cape Town trip was truly exceptional. We can't thank the Go Touch Down staff enough. Their behind-the-scenes planning and hard work—especially during a pandemic—provided us with a seamless experience from beginning to end. Although we are accustomed to traveling around the world and often make our own travel arrangements, trying to plan a trip to South Africa was daunting and we knew the logistics would be complicated since we wanted to visit game reserves as well as Cape Town. Where to start? Reviewing Go Touch Down's itineraries and relying on them to handle all the planning and details allowed us to relax and look forward to a memorable trip. We found the pricing reasonable. As it turned out, the value was excellent. Before leaving, the staff answered our questions and concerns quickly and effectively. They also provided a very complete handout that contained information about the itinerary, currency, etc. Once we arrived in South Africa, our guide picked us up at the airport, handled our luggage, and brought us to our first resort. Along the way, we were made to feel welcome, told about our itinerary, and began to learn about the area we would be visiting. When it came time to change locations and resorts, our guide handled everything and either transferred us personally to the guide at the next location or assisted us with checking in at the airport, etc., giving us easy instructions for meeting our next guide. It all worked flawlessly and we felt very comfortable at every step along the way. The small group size and comfortable vans made our day-to-day travel pleasant. We can't say enough about our guides. Their professionalism, friendliness, thoughtfulness, and knowledge helped educate and give us an appreciation of each location we visited. More than that, their love of and pride in South Africa and the areas where they live and work came shining through, which greatly enhanced our experience and made us appreciate this beautiful country and its warm and friendly people. The itinerary was well paced to maximize our time yet also allowed for periods of relaxation. The abundance of wildlife, our memorable encounters during game drives, and the incredible natural beauty of our surroundings from beginning to end were outstanding. No one place was better or more beautiful than the other; each provided different perspectives in diverse settings from our glamping accommodations at Humala River Lodge to our pampered boutique hotel experience at the Belle Maroc on the beach, overlooking Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain. We are so glad that we combined the safari and Cape Town itinerary. The latter is a beautiful city surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. The neighboring areas offer many interesting encounters with remarkable flora and fauna that should not be missed. Overall, our Go Touch Down experience was excellent and we look forward to returning to South Africa!

Nice, understanding and great tour guide.

Do yourself fervor and book Safaris with trip advisor Africa safaris!

This was fabulous trip from start to the end. I have to say we were a bit
apprehensive when initially booked with Trip advisor Africa safaris,
because it’s not a big travel company or household name. I have a feeling
that is going to change. Everyone that we dealt with was courteous and
professional. Our guide Jacob was absolutely fantastic. He made sure that we were able to see different animals while on game drive. There was never request that he did not try to full fill and he was
never under any impression that he was out of impatient. He spent the
entire week driving us from Nairobi to Maasia mara, Lake Nauru &Lake
Naivasha. It was beyond our expectation in every way from food,
accommodation &to the entire beauty of Kenya. In deed its a trip advisor as
the name sugest.Thank you again for memorable experience with you,
particularly to Seth Vincent who arranged for us safaris and to the entire
staff.

The organisation of Safari Avventura was perfect. Special thanks to our professionnal, friendly guide Calvin and driver Haruna. They introduced us to Manyara, Ngorongoro ans Tarangire parks. And we have seen a lot of animals.

This company is currently bankrupt and will take your money and give you nothing!

We booked with African Sunsets for a 2020 tour of Namibia. We prepaid for lodge reservations, a vehicle and a guide. After we were in Namibia we found we had to pay for almost everything ourselves, with the promise that our expenses would be reimbursed before our trip was over. Reimbursement was delayed “for a few days”, them promised “ before we left the country”. Five months later we have never seen a penny of it. The worst of it was that the company stiffed our guide, who was the best guide we’ve ever had in a lifetime of travel.
We have been in contact with African Sunsets off and on since we returned home, with no response. I realize that Covid hurt the South African tour business badly, but this tour company was not honest with us about their financial condition and let us travel halfway around the world before we found out we still had another $4000 of debt to cover. Don’t book with them. They are not an honest agency.

SETH WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND ATTENTIVE. TRIED VERY HARD TO PLEASE.j
5/5

COMMUNICATIONS WERE FINE. ONE PROBLEM WAS THAT TWO OF OUR SAFARI DRIVERS DID NOT ALWAYS COMMUNICATE BETWEEN THEMSELVES WELL. ARRIVED LATE TWO OR THREE TIMES TO OUR LODGINGS WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WITH BETTER TIME MANAGEMENT.
ONE DRIVER, DICKSON, WAS OFTEN ON HIS PHONE WHILE DRIVING, CHATTING WITH FRIENDS OR WIFE.
THAT SEEMED TO BE HIS PRIORITY DESPITE OUR COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS. NOT GOOD.
OPANY AND ALI BABA WERE GREAT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.
RIFT VALLEY ROUTE VERY CROWDED AND FRUSTRATING...BUT TRIP TO MASA MARA FROM LAKE NAKURU WAS BRUTAL. FORTUNATELY, THE GAME VIEWING AND VISIT TO THE MASAI VILLAGE FAR EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. WELL WORTH IT, VERY MUCH SO. P.S DO STAY AT THE WONDERFUL, CHARMING SAROVA NELSON HOTEL IN NAIROBI. OUTSTANDING STAFF!

Best to explore East Africa with
5/5

After years of wanting to go to Africa and planning me and my twin sister have decided to go with Kumbu Kumbu and Obed
Obed helped me make a fully customized trip around the great lakes and offered the best price for us compared to other options we had

Our trip was a 2 weeks trip around the great lakes visiting Rwanda, Uganda and DR Congo. It included:
- great safaris at Akagera and Queen Elizabeth Park and Kazinga Channel in
Rwanda and Uganda
- Low land gorilla trek in Kahuzi Biega national park in the DR Congo
- Mountain Gorilla trek in Virunga national park
- Chimpanzee trek in Uganda
- A relaxing visit to the Masisi Territory
- Kigali city tour
- Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park

With the flexibility and fully customization option of Kumbu Kumbu and Obed we managed to do it all and at a good price.
When planning the trip I wanted to see everything that the great lakes area offers and I also kept changing the plans quite often, Obed helped us do it all and with every change of plans gave us the best solutions and options.
After arriving in Rwanda and finally meeting him in person we found a very pleasant and friendly tour guide, which we now call a friend.
When in Africa you have the be ready for the unexpected and when we got stuck on our way back to Kigali from Safari because of the curfew every at night in Rwanda at that time, Obed did everything he could to find us an hotel on the way which meet the standards we've set with him before coming.

I really have nothing bad to say about Kumbu Kumbu and Obed, They made sure our trip was as good as possible, with good drivers, with big help in passing the hard borders between the Congo and Rwanda and Uganda and managing the visa for Congo for us.

We know that our next trip to East Africa is going to be again with KumbuKumbu tours with Obed

Amazing Vacation in Tanzania!
5/5

From the very beginning, my experience with Relish of Africa was amazing! Andrew was extremely prompt with answering my questions via whatsapp and making changes to our itinerary as needed. When we landed at JRO, Emmanuel and Mathias were on time to pick us up along with information. Emmanuel was an amazing safari guide - he was knowledgeable, flexible and fun throughout the whole trip. They also planned the Zanzibar portion of our trip and again everyone was always on time and knowledgeable about any questions we had. We had such a fun trip without having to worry about any details. Highly recommend this company!

Knowledgeable and Accommodating
5/5

We had very specific needs on short notice and Nature Connect Safaris did not disappoint! Francis responded very quickly to our emails and put together a fantastic trip on short notice. The safari vehicle was clean and we had no issues during the trip. There were plenty of snacks and lots of water available at all times. Francis was very knowledgeable about the birds and mammals that we encountered and he was very accommodating when we wanted to stop and look at different animals for some time. Overall, this experience was fantastic and we would definitely book with this company again in the future.

Budget safari tour of excellent standards
5/5

Budget safari tour of excellent standards. You spent 2 nights in a nice hotel/lodge, and 3 nights in safari campsites, where you are guaranteed the most beautiful sunrises. The food is so tasty and varies from every meal! (beer + wine is also included :)) - both the guide/driver and the chef were so kind, open and helpful with everything, you might need. I am diabetic, and thus I was worried that I could not keep my insulin cool and safe during the day. However, there is a little fridge in the vehicle, which was perfect for storing my medicine - it was genuinely an incredible experience, that you don’t want to miss out on!
