Hard but Great Experience
I participated in a 3-night, 4-day tour in August. I wanted to travel to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, so I requested quotes from over 10 companies and chose this one as the most affordable option.
We visited Serengeti on the first and second days, Ngorongoro on the third day, and Tarangire on the final day. We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five animals, and we were able to capture moments of lions and elephants passing right in front of our vehicle.
Our dedicated chef prepared our meals. In the morning, we had light snacks and could make our favorite drinks with hot water from a thermos. At lunchtime, the chef packed the meals in a cooler box for us to bring along, and we enjoyed warm dishes in the evening. Everything was delicious.
For the tour transportation, they offered us complimentary transfers from the hotel in Arusha where we stayed the night before, to the hotel near Kilimanjaro Airport where we were supposed to stop after the tour. We had already booked hotels for before and after the tour, but it seems they have partner hotels and can arrange accommodations for the pre- and post-stays at a discounted or even free rate.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
They provided plenty of bottled water, so there was no need to worry.
For those considering a similar tour in the future, here are some tips:
1. Showers may not have hot water and the availability may be limited. It's advisable to bring body wipes, and remember to bring your own towel. However, there might not be a place to dry them.
2. There were toilets without toilet paper, so it's good to bring your own.
3. Camping in tents for the entire trip can be physically challenging. Upgrading for some nights might be a good option.
4. Be cautious of dust as you may encounter a lot of it throughout the trip. Pay attention to your backpack and clothing.
5. Nights in Serengeti and Ngorongoro can be cold, so you will need a long-sleeve shirt, sweater, and a light coat.
6. Since there is no electricity in the tents, having a flashlight can be helpful. One that can be hung inside the tent will be useful.
7. Traveling on gravel roads may cause motion sickness. It's good to have motion sickness tablets. We also used insect repellent, cold medicine, and anti-diarrheal medication.
8. You may feel unwell from sunburn, so apply sunscreen. It's good to have a hat and sunglasses.
9. The customary tip for the chef and guide is $10 per person per day, so factor that into the estimated cost.

Excellent custom tour
Brian was great to work with. He developed a custom five day for our family of four including airport pick-up, Zambezi river cruise, Chobe safari and river cruise, Victoria Falls walking tour and helicopter ride, rhino walking tour and four nights half board at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Excellent local guides for all activities and Brian was very responsive to all questions. Highly recommend.

They were all very dedicated and gave us a good safari experience.
It was an incredible safari, our guide was an encyclopedia, he knew all the birds, all the trees, and had very well trained eyes to spot the animals, our safari was private so we had a beautiful jeep just for us. Full board, the guide was also very patient in speaking understandable English with us.

An Experience of a Lifetime We Will Live to Talk About
Our concluded 7-Day Best Private trip to Kenya with Splendid Vacations was an unforgettable adventure that seamlessly blended natural beauty, the rich heritage, and top-notch and quality service. James the tour consultant from Splendid Vacations portrayed exceptional professionalism, expertise knowledge and attention to detail and managed to organise a 17 member group itinerary. The itinerary was well-structured, offering the perfect blend between adventure, learning and relaxation in perfectly selected hotels. Our visits included Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate and Amboseli National Parks.
Our driver guides; Augustine, Willy and Alex were excellent in knowledge of the road, the natural heritage giving every detail of the animals, very considerate of our needs and made a journey over some very rough terrain unthoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and got the most out of this trip.
What amazed us was how James continually checked in with us over the period of planning, his messages checking and getting us more thrilling and excited for our safari adventure. During the trip, James checked in to make sure that we were happy and everything was going smoothly in a hassle free style!
The safari met and exceeded all our expectations in a very unique way. We are privileged to have booked with splendid vacations. We look forward to come again and book with Splendid Vacations and I highly recommend anyone who would like to book a safari to Kenya to go with Splendid Vacations, they will not disappoint!
Thank you very much Splendid Vacations and see you in the near future!

An amazing and unique experience
The safari we did with Migration Venture Africa was one of the most beautiful trips we have taken.
Our guide Noeli was outstanding. He guided us and took us to the most beautiful places, showed us the animals in action in every possible and imaginable way. He has always accommodated our preferences and needs to the best of his ability, and he has always taken care of us with unique attention.
He is a good, intelligent and knowledgeable person and he welcomed us with heart and love. We laughed a lot together and enjoyed ourselves thanks to his wit, friendliness and sincerity.
He was always attentive to the guide and also has in-depth knowledge about the animals, the culture of the country and the traditions.
The places we went on the tour were beautiful, especially the location inside the Serengeti has remained in our hearts.
Thank you for guiding us with love and passion through one of the jewels of your country along the national parks of Tarangire, Ngrorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara.
Thanks also to Amos for his helpfulness, friendliness and promptness in organising this customised holiday for us in the best possible way. You were always so helpful towards us reassuring us even before the trip.
We will always carry you in our hearts, Elisa and Gianluca.

Outstanding experience!
It was amazing experience, 3 days of safari experience is now a lifetime memory.
The tour guides (Emmanuel and William) were brilliant and very caring.
The last day tour guides (forgot the names) were also amazing.
It's a shame that after outstanding experience in St Eilin's Trees Inn Hotel, had to stay in a substandard hotel (Tulia Boutique Hotel) in Arusha (last day) where the rooms looked not cleaned. Due to this I was unable to give 5 Star. I suggest Loren African Safaris not to compromise on quality for little savings which will damage your image.

Couldn’t ask for more!
Suricata Safaris is the best you can ask for! We spent the first night in Arusha and Chuke arranged for us a very nice night city tour. The day after we left for the 5days Safari and everything was amazing: the views, the animals we saw, the lodges, the food and of course our guides. Freddie is prepared, helpful and funny!
On the last day, since we had the flight late at night, Chuke also organized for us a day trip to Kilimanjaro.
Couldn’t ask for more!
