Overwelming experience !
5/5

I went with my family on a 12 day round trip through Uganda with Matoke tours and the whole journey was beyond expectations. What a beautiful country, excellent driver/guide (big Sam) and perfect itinerary from Matoke tours. All the highlights of Uganda and more were presented to us. Everything was arranged perfectly and big Sam did a wonderful job in sharing his knowledge and experience about this beautiful country and it's wildlife. With the Gorilla encounter as one of the amazing highlights ! Thanks to everybody at Matoke tours for this wonderful experience.

Great staff and beautiful country
5/5

Patrick was great with providing us with great information from the moment we started planning for our safari. He was very patient with us as it was our first time in Kenya and we had a lot of questions and concerns. Our safari guide was very entertaining and we had a fantastic time. Kenya and it's people are truly beautiful and we will be back soon.

Umubano is the best!
5/5

Gato Herbert and his men will be the perfect interpreters and guides for you in Rwanda. Gato has all the qualifications- he speaks several languages, seems to know everyone in the travel industry, and is passionate about his home country. Rwanda is safe, clean, and malaria isn't a big problem there. The UT staff's national pride is infectious- they simply love the villagers and the crops they raise and love going off the beaten path. Ask about the twin lakes banana beer/ basket weaving!
Everyone sees the gorillas- and that's fine- but if you want to spend some time really seeing how Rwandans live then hire Umubano Tours and spend a few more days in Rwanda!

Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda
5/5

We organised a 4 day tour to visit the golden monkeys, gorillas and a tour around Kigali. Herbert was extremely efficient in replying to our emails when booking our trip and we had no problems.

Upon arrival, we were picked up by our guide, Didier who drove us to Musanze for the monkey and gorilla treks. The treks were absolutely fantastic. Didier was a brilliant guide, very attentive, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about his country. What we particularly enjoyed was hearing and seeing the true Rwanda and not just the touristy parts. Definitely feel like we've made good friends.

I have no hesitation in recommending Umubano tours. They were the cheapest we could find for the gorilla trekking (everywhere is expensive) but the experience we had was excellent.

Quick turnaround, great safari!
5/5

We were already in Daressalaam when we contacted Zed for a quick 3 day safari. We visited their office cause we were staying in the same tower block. We only had three days to spare so it wasnt a big safari but nonetheless there were a few options. Fatema and her team walked us through our options in detail, showcasing the highlights. One thing that was evident was that these guys loved to sell Tanzania, almost enticing us to stay longer and go for a bigger safari. We eventually settled for Udzungwa and Mikumi.

Our pick up was bang on time, the transfer was smooth with a fairly talkative guide. We were advised to leave early to avoid traffic, something to watch out for while in Tanzania. The safari was great, we were lucky with the wildlife. The hotel arrangements were spot on, exactly as described - no frills and fancies. The safari made what would have been a boring business trip pretty memorable. I'd surely recommend the team at Zed Safaris to anyone who wants to do Tanzania.

African Dream!
5/5

Bushroutes offered to us the safari that suited us the better. We are a young couple that travel a lot and we got the opportunity with bushroutes to tailored our journey to Tanzania having the exact amount of wildlife experience, view seeing, hiking, volcanos exploration... Among all that experiences, the most valuable experience we got with bushroutes was that traveling with a local agency allowed us to get to know local reality and traditions! Our driver Julius was like a travel buddy for us and we'll never forget him! He also help us getting ready with our backpack route after finishing the safari.

We highly recommend any visitor to contact Bushroutes!

Fantastic few days safari. Would definitely recommend
5/5

We did 2 nights in the Masai Mara and loved it. Imraan and his team looked after us very well, the tents were small but comfy (and it's incredible to fall asleep to the sound of wildebeest and zebra), the food tasty and plentiful, and the staff were very friendly. We also saw a lot of fantastic game, including the migration which had started early.

If you're on a budget, this is definitely the company for you. We would highly recommend Best Camping. Thanks again

Not "kwaheri", but "tutaonana"

I can't begin to say how much of an amazing, unforgettable, life changing experience our two week adventure in Africa was for both me and my mom. From the welcoming culture and people, to the amazing food and breathtaking views, this trip to Tanzania will most definitely not be my last. Patiently guided us, provided many options, gave a good plan, provided a fantastic guide/driver.
5/5

Everything was bang on. From the pick-up to the drop-off, things went very smoothly. The key was Tony, our tour guide who was brilliant. His knowledge about the wildlife, the layout of the parks and driving skills were very good.
At one point there was no chef when we arrived at a cottage we had hired, at another place, Keekerok Lodge, the food was substandard for a hotel of that level. Otherwise Keekerok and its location are excellent. But these were minor issues compared to the overall, thoroughly enjoyable trip.
Chalo Africa kept track of these issues as well as our general well-being.

A wonderful experience
5/5

Thanks Smita for organising a truly memorable trip to Kenya- no easy task with 4 adults and 2 eight year olds. We enjoyed every moment of our safari to the Mara, Ol Pejeta and Nakuru.
Smita met with us and helped plan the trip from start to finish and was there to answer endless questions. Her turnaround time was always no more than a few hours at most. She kept in touch with us through the trip to ensure that things were smooth with no unpleasant surprises.
Tony our guide was competent, friendly and patient. He knew the parks really well and we had some really wonderful sightings with him. The kids loved him too.
Thanks much to Chalo Africa for making it all happen. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
