A pleasant trip, with a wonderful itinerary, but with too cheap a way of travelling.

I booked my tour with Kruger Park Tours: they were absolutely perfect from all points of view.

The tour itself was organised by Nomad Tours. It was an overland tour, South African Explorer 2018-South, 20 days, accommodated. I have not enough words to praise the excellent staff, the guide, the driver and the cook, all of them great professionals. The itinerary was perfect, although the tour should have been a couple of days longer to enable a more relaxed pace. The truck was comfortable, even for somebody with joint pains like me, but it should be heated: we spent several hours in a snow storm in a freezing vehicle, and many other days in a very cold one; on the other hand, warm weather is not a problem as it is possible to open all the windows. Moreover, the truck is good for ordinary transportation, not for game viewing, as it is too large to get into the narrow paths where game usually hides: therefore, only the safaris done with special vehicles were really rewarding, not the ones done with the large truck. Most accommodations were good or excellent - only the Kudu Ridge Lodge near Addo N. P. did not meet the required level, as the heating in the quite dilapidated tents was not working despite the very cold temperatures -, but due to the type of tour we could not enjoy the common areas: we used to eat outside in the cold, or in areas near the kitchen or even in the room of the guide. The food was generally OK, enough for me - a petite 66 year old woman -, but again the type of tour made us spend a lot of time buying food, preparing meals, washing the dishes, etc., a time that would have been better spent visiting the wonders of the country; furthermore, this type of tour forces the staff to reach the accommodations quite early in order to have time to cook dinner, late afternoon hours being the best to view game, together with early morning ones. But I guess the very cheap price of the tour is possible only with this type of tour called overland.

My advice: South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho are marvelous countries where you will enjoy extraordinary wildlife, beautiful scenery, interesting culture, good food and bear, and excellent wines, so do visit them. However, take an overland tour only if you really cannot afford something better; if you can spend some more money, do yourself a favor and choose a tour using lodge restaurants for meals - at least for breakfast and dinner - and special vehicles to watch game.

Kenya was worth the trip. We saw different environments, Lush farm areas, African Bush (including dust), and green mountainous landscapes. Food was good and most important..People were very hospitable.

Climbed Kili

On very short notice World Tours Safari was able to arrange for my trip up Kilimanjaro. Richard was very accommodating and helpful. I had a great hike up (Coca Cola trail) and have since recommended Kili and World Tours Tanzania to my family.

One piece of advice: WTT should be clearer about the appropriate tipping amount up front.

Great experience for our first time in Kenya. The safari was well organized and service was great. Joe, our guide from Right Choice Safari did a fantastic job of helping us see the BIG Five. The entire experience on Safari Bookings.com was flawless. Awesome job. Keep it up.

About: Uganda
A very successful 16 days wildlife super safari for one person

The result of wildlife rating should be very much better if I would have taken part on gorilla or chimpanzee tracking. Without the mentioned
animals you can'' t compare the wildlife with countries as in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia or South Africa. But also with a smaller animal kingdom you can have wonderful experiences. So I had the possibility to watch in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary my smallest rhino
I have ever seen before in Africa, in one of the lakes or channels my smallest hippo, without the mother you could carry the cup away with
both hands, a fish eagle with a too tall fish just in front of our car, not more than three metres away, twice the fish fell down in front of our car
when the eagle started to safe the fish and in Rwakobo camp I had the luck to watch a two months old waterbuck, found from the manager of
the camp in a age of 1,5 weeks without a mother. Two times a day the little buck came to the manager of the camp and was asking for bottles
of milk. Because you could touch the cup and give to the animal some milk, it was one of the main attractions.
The safari was organized with one of the best, perhaps even the best travel agency in Uganda. For nearly a year, the manager Jackie was
planning with me together my tour of Uganda. Jackie was a amazing and patient, with unusual prompt replies to my emails and with her help
I booked the best safari to suit my needs. With one of the best cars, a 4x4 wheel driven Toyota Landcruiser, we - the driver and safari guide
Martin - started our safari, when he picked me up at the airport around midnight. For road conditions, which I haven' t seen before during
nearly fifty years in Africa the car and the driver was the best what could had happened to me. Very often without any signs Martin found
without any difficulties his way and brought us without any breakdowns back to Kampala and Entebbe. Under no circumstances I felt unwell
or there was a fear of not enough security. Wether for lunch or dinner I had to eat meat, with his help I could always pick up a piece of fried
fish with chips.
The accommodations, with Jackie I had agreed with "moderate", were always very clean and comfortable, but only the accommodations in
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Rwakobo camp where a little bit more simple and older.
The mountains and lakes of the southwestern part of Uganda are postcard perfect. Katona Tours and Travel is a very experienced Tour Opera-
tortor and travel expert for East Africa. I would definitely use Katona Tours again.

Great safari
4/5

We were 2 full days at masai mara which was AMAZING!
Great lodge, Great food. OT upgraded us for 1 more night at the lodge.
The next day we spent at lake Naivasha which was a failure.
We are sorry for not be more accurate when we booked the safari regarding the schedule of that day.
It was a boring day and a waste of time.
The price OT gave us was the most attractive offer after checking with many operators.
OT is the reason we will close our next safari with KWS..
He is very nice and kind man and he gives you the feeling you are in a good hands.

About: Kenya
Watching the wildlife close but safety

National parks are amazing and something that should visit at least once in your life. You can see very close a lot of animals, bigs and smalls too. The weather was really good for travelling, some hot but not too much, and at night you can sleep without problems as temperature is nice.

Food is not varied and maybe is the weak point of this trip.

Great experience with Time 4 Africa!
4/5

We found this Safari Agency through the suggestion of the Manager of our hotel in Dar Es Salaam, as we were interested in organizing a last-minute three-days safari in the Mikumi Park. In less than one hour, our private safari was settled! What a great experience! Our guide was really nice and helpful, the accommodation was comfortable and really close to the park and the safari was perfect! Even though we had a flat tire the guide immediately solved the problem with no time loss for our trip. Beautiful safari with a great company!

We travelled with Afroriginal who perfectly helped us to plan the trip, where to go, where to stay.
4/5

The safari exceeded our expectations. It's hard to beat the wildlife, biodiversity, and expansive landscapes of Tanzania. Especially the wildlife in the Serenghetti and Ngorongoro was tremendous.
Our tour guide was perfect with good information and the cook was marvelous too.
And of course Zanzibar is a mandatory destination with her stunning sun sets and nice Stone Town.
