Amazing experience, well planned tour and great staff
Had a great holiday safari thanks to Tukio safari. My trip was well planned to locations with great scenic views and got to experience Kenya's wildlife. The highlight of the holiday was the Mara and Nakuru park. The staff members were picked us up from the airport on time and our trip plan was well organised. The staff was well conversant with the various parks we visited, very well spoken and respectful which made out safari more enjoyable. The response time to our booking was also commendable, our hotels accomodation was well organised with booking made in advance as had been requested.
Many thanks Tukio for making our holiday great. My friends and I had a great time!

Great value for money

A great safari thanks to the very good driver!
Everything was well arranged. When the hotel of our choice was not available, we got several other options recommended by Matoke, including the pro's and cons of each hotel. The driver was excellent. He knew a lot about wildlife in Uganda, understood our specific areas of interest and had good fun with our children.
We did not have to worry about anything during the trip, as all was arranged by Matoke. Except for the weather..

This tour was well organized and Andre was very helpful to us all along the way.
This tour met all of our expectations for what it advertised. Our drivers Thabo and Tanya were absolutely great in there driving and caring for us. The side tours were amazing. The only drawback was some of the long days of driving from place to place. But it also gave us a chance to see more animals. I can honestly recommend this tour to all adults without children.

Amaizing three days safari
we did a three days safari with Angles and the outcome was excellent. Our safari jeep was in good condition with an open roof that made easy for us to see animals well. Our driver guide was the best and gave the explaination needed. Our tents were in good shape and we only shared it with my boyfriend which made us more comfortable. I would recommend this tour company to anyone.

You dive into the nature & beauty of a different world. Pumba provided perfect individual planning, very fair rates & Edwin - the most amazing guide. He knows where to find the big animals and brings you very close to them. We can really recommend Pumba without any exception!

Excellent guide and good price
Service and communication was really good. They were on time to pick up us from our hotel and after camp. Mr Kennedy was so sympatic and good planner. Our guide, Zak was professional, he knows Masai Mara very well and sees animals very well even they are too far away. He saw çita and many lions earlier than other group guides. We were so satisfied about Doyen safari service. We were there at End of May. Even it is beginning of season, we saw a lot of wildies. It was perfect experience.

12 night honeymoon perfection!
We did a 12 night trip booked through Sunny Safaris (6 nights safari, 6 nights Zanzibar) for our honeymoon in May 2018. I was recommended them through a friend who had grown up in Tanzania and used their services regularly on their holidays there. In summary we highly recommend Sunny Safaris as a tour guide to our friends - we found it great value for a private tour, with amazing personalised itinerary and accommodation. We can't wait to come back for another safari!
Positive points:
- I had been in contact with one of their admin ladies, Jessica, from around a year before. She was always prompt and courteous in her responses. She provided us with an itinerary suggestion which we discussed back and forth, and was very open to changing ideas around to suit our timeframes and budgets.
- Our safari guide Hamisi was SUCH a happy, friendly and lovely guy who went out of his way every day to make sure we had the best experience and sightings. He was a careful and great driver. He was happy to work around us with what we wanted to do in terms of pick ups in the morning etc, but always gave us his advice and recommendations too which we valued.
- The accommodation was outstanding throughout - we can't fault any of it. We stayed in 5 different lodges over 6 nights for our safari so it's too long to go into them individually, and we honestly cannot name a favourite. They all had either amazing food, views, amenities or wonderful staff. Most of them had all three!
- We brought our marriage certificate to prove we were honeymooning for our week in Zanzibar and we got some lovely extras as well from the hotel (Ocean Paradise Resort).
- The man (Omar) who picked us up from Zanzibar airport also organised a Blue Safari tour for us while we were there, which was well priced compared to the hotel that offered the same tour.
Challenges and negatives:
- Due to language barriers it was sometimes difficult to get more detailed information on local tribes, customs and animals.
- Due to confusion in our communication with Jessica, we thought there was only a 5% surcharge on CREDIT cards and not on debit/prepaid travel cards. The 5% surcharge actually applies to all card payments, which we discovered when paying our remaining 50% deposit on arrival with a prepaid debit card. We would have happily brought cash if we knew this.
