Trip of a Lifetime
As a graduation gift for my daugher, and a number one bucket list for me, we took a safari to Zambia. Being a novice about going into the bush and where to go, it was imperative that we have the right tour guide to facilitate a flawless yet thrilling trip. The Luxury Safari Company, and the trip that Rose organized for us, exceeded all our expectations. Rose provided the expert knowlege about where we should go and the recommended camps we should stay at - she put the whole tirp together for us including all the local connecting flights to the remote parks we were visiting and at every step the execution was flawless. As two women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mchenja camp in South Luangwa National Park and could not say enough good things about our amazing guide, Innocent, while we were there. The staff and the food could not have been better and we are very appreciattive of their hospitatiliby and making us feel comfortable after a very long jouney to get there. The park was spectatuclar - on our drive into the camp the evening we arrived, we saw leopards, lions and giraffees. It was awe inspiring. Following a wonderful dinner we had beautiful rooms and awoke to the surinse overlooking the Zambezi River and hearing the hippopotums 'talking' in the early morning. Our days in the bush, both in the jeep and doing a walking safari, were breathtaking - the elephants came out to greet us as did the zebras, bamboons and so many others. The highlight was seeinng the mating of the lions at a fairly close distance and watching their interaction. We then travled down to the Lower Zambezi and stayed at the beautiful Sausage Tree Camp where Benson our butler took impecable care of us and our guide, Collins, shared his extensive knowledge about the animals and ecosystme of the Lower Zambezi with us. The food and the service at Sausage Tree Camp were top notch. We had a wonderful dinner in the bush as well as lunch in the River - very special experiences. The bush here was also spectatcular and our game rides were filled with exciting views of the wildlife. Our stay Togenbezi in Livingston was similarily a culinary delight and a wonderful trip to see the splendor of Victoria Falls, the white rhinos and a family of giraffees.
Rose put together the ideal iternary for us throughout our stay in Zambia and later in South Africa. When we go back, and we will certainly be going back , Rose and her team will be my first call to organize our next trip.

The operator provided a excellent level of customer care and the quality for Safari was very good
The comunications are aceptable for a Safari and the service was great. The safari overmatch my expectations of the whole trip- The Safari was for four days a bit short but we could see the big fives. The driver as well as the cooker did a amazing job. We were during the Safari very lucky with their care and work. The driver always gave the best to try to find oout the best place to look at the animals. We relly recomend this Safari - For us was it a unforgetable experience with such a jung a motivated operator.

Wonderful safari
Beautiful trip with Savannah! The tour was unforgettable. The Jeep was perfect and always clean. The accommodations were very beautiful.

The bar has been set!
This was by far the best safari I have been on. The new lodge is truly beautiful and well decorated. The rooms are large and have stack doors that open up onto the park (literally). It wasn't warm enough to try the infinity pool so we will have to come back for that. The elephants could be heard and seen breaking branches metres outside our window. The game drives were really exciting and the area has many animals. Our guide Kavi was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. A special mentions goes to the staff at Karula who were very attentive and even entertaining at times! I don't want to say more because I would love others to experience this first hand. To the Karula team, we will definitely be coming back for more! LOVED IT.

My first safari experience was amazing!

A Great Safari for First Timers!
This was a great safari experience at an unbelievable value! Leading up to the trip, communications were lacking so I was not sure what to expect. Everything about the trip went smoothly and the accommodations were akin to glamping. Peter, our driver, was incredible at navigating the roads and plains. Extremely Professional Tour Company
Cross to Africa Safari was an extremely professional tour company. The representative I spent the most time with went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, a tall order for a solo female traveler! He was kind enough to customize a trip that fit my budget and he delivered exactly what was promised! I had met other safari-goers who had horrible experiences being tossed around between guides and not getting the experience they paid for. I experienced the exact opposite! Everything they promised in terms of the parks we visited, the duration, the experience, the food, and the campsite was exactly as promised. The experience was great! I saw all the wildlife I wanted and had a great time. What's more — the company is owned by local Tanzanians! Such a great experience and I highly recommend them.
