Not "kwaheri", but "tutaonana"

I can't begin to say how much of an amazing, unforgettable, life changing experience our two week adventure in Africa was for both me and my mom. From the welcoming culture and people, to the amazing food and breathtaking views, this trip to Tanzania will most definitely not be my last. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime, eye-opening, exciting, and memorable experience, Africa is your place and Viewpoint Adventures can make it happen!

Patiently guided us, provided many options, gave a good plan, provided a fantastic guide/driver.
5/5

Everything was bang on. From the pick-up to the drop-off, things went very smoothly. The key was Tony, our tour guide who was brilliant. His knowledge about the wildlife, the layout of the parks and driving skills were very good.
At one point there was no chef when we arrived at a cottage we had hired, at another place, Keekerok Lodge, the food was substandard for a hotel of that level. Otherwise Keekerok and its location are excellent. But these were minor issues compared to the overall, thoroughly enjoyable trip.
Chalo Africa kept track of these issues as well as our general well-being.

A wonderful experience
5/5

Thanks Smita for organising a truly memorable trip to Kenya- no easy task with 4 adults and 2 eight year olds. We enjoyed every moment of our safari to the Mara, Ol Pejeta and Nakuru.
Smita met with us and helped plan the trip from start to finish and was there to answer endless questions. Her turnaround time was always no more than a few hours at most. She kept in touch with us through the trip to ensure that things were smooth with no unpleasant surprises.
Tony our guide was competent, friendly and patient. He knew the parks really well and we had some really wonderful sightings with him. The kids loved him too.
Thanks much to Chalo Africa for making it all happen. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Four day safari with Safari Trackers Adventure
5/5

I did a four day safari over March/April 2014 with Charles from Safari Trackers Adventure and loved every minute! After organising transfers from the airport I was offered optional activites for the day before my safari if I wanted something to do. We visited Tarangire national park, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. I stayed in lodges along the way and all were quite reasonable, with the lodge in the Seregeti being an absolute highlight - I only wish I had more time to enjoy it! Charles was professional, courteous and keen to show us everything we wanted to see in the parks. Charles also knew a great deal about the different animals, so we learnt a lot as well! The trip I purchased was good value and all inclusive, and while I was nervous about transferring money internationally for a deposit, I am pleased to say I no problems whatsoever :) I found it so hard to choose a safari operator in Tanzania, but am certainly happy I made the decision to travel with Safari Trackers Adventure! We saw the big 5 plus much more and if you're interested in seeing some of my safari shots, you can do so on Instagram by searching for "leahrobrien"

About: Go2Africa
We used Go2Africa for our honeymoon in 2010 and loved every minute!
5/5

We used Lauren at Go2Africa to plan our honeymoon and found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful. She was easy to communicate with and gave us good insights into which camps/hotels to stay at. The safari operator they partnered with was top notch and our safari guide was amazing! We spent some time in Zanzibar after our safari and loved our stay there also. The whole 2 week trip went off without a hitch and we have awesome memories from it! I would definitely book a safari trip with Go2Africa again!

Breathtaking experience!!
4/5

I personally know Ecobushman, a very professional and well spoken gentleman to whom we share the same vision “responsible tourism can be the positive force for conservation of wildlife and indigenous cultures”. As one of the people who have shared experience with Ecobushman International Expedition, I am very honored to write this review and recommend everyone to this lifetime experience with Ecobushman and his crew to embark a journey to the most beautiful places in African continent. Ecobushman, Isaac and Abuu are very professional, talented and organized gentlemen and they offered us an impeccable services including amazing tour to places like Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda and we were fed too well. Being in- experienced travelers, the fact it was a mixed age group of seven people which this help blend us nice together helped a great deal in building other network of friends. We have no hesitation in recommending Ecobushman International Expeditions to others.

Amazing Tanzanian Experience
5/5

From the time we were picked up at Dar es Salaam airport, to the time we were dropped off again, everything went smoothly. This was the first time I had a tour organised and I am pleased to say I was impressed at the way our drivers and guides handled everything. All details were taken care of, we didn't need to concern ourselves with anything.

The guide we had on the safari through L.Manyara, Ngorogoro and Serengeti was very personable, we felt like we were travelling with on old friend. The guide's knowledge was flawless and he went out of his way to get us anything we needed and make us feel comfortable. We were very well taken care of, felt relaxed and could enjoyed the trip without any concerns.

Kudos to the Zed team

Wonderful guide -- great experience!
5/5

We (6 of us) spent 5 days visiting the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater by land rover. Our guide, Peter, was really excellent -- thoughtful, pleasant, and patient with lots of great information and an amazing eye for wildlife. We saw everything we were hoping to see and more! The places we stayed were really lovely (the ones closer to Arusha even had wi-fi!) and the food was terrific.
I would recommend this company without reservation.

It was just AWESOME!!

The Safari:
After we had arrived in Arusha, Charles picked us up and took us to our hotel. We did the 7-days safari including Arusha NP, Lake Manyara NP, Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, and of course Serengeti NP. We had a wonderful time and got really impressed by the sheer number of animals we have seen and the incredible and overwhelming scenery.
Things not to forget:
- Binoculars. Although most of the time, there were animals even right next to our car, you might become curios about things in the distance, too.
- Warm clothes for colder days. Especially the crater can become a bit chilliy once in a while + long sleeves/pants is a natural mosquito protection. For me one hoody and one pair of cargo pants was enough.
- Malaria prophylaxis. You don't want to be worried and put yourself on the line.
- Water purifying pills. Although you get enough bottled drinking water during the safari, eventually you might be glad to have some in addition.
- Enough money for tips ;)
In addition:
Since we didn't have a good start in Tanzania which lead to temporary complications, Charles was more than helpful and sympathetic! He and his team - the excellent cook Herman and the always helping trainee Edwin - have made our trip unforgettable! They helped us out whenever they could and made us feel welcome and to be amongst friends.

Myanmar lake, ngorngoro crater, Serengeti, Zanzibar

I will not be able to fully and accurately describe and appreciate this experience here but I'll try. I was not the person that organized or corresponded with the people from regional tours but I was most impressed with the accommodations arranged and services provided. Our guide Peter hands down made our safari what it was. He was extremely knowledgable about every area we visited. By knowledgeable I mean he not only knew the geography of each place but he was incredibly knowledgeable about where to find which animals to find in which areas as well as migration habits, mating, nesting, and anything else you could think of related to any kind of animal we saw. No question was too hard or too insignificant for Peter. He gave us lots of information on local customs based on where we were, he always knew a place to stop for shopping or a toilet, gave advice on how to negotiate while shopping and even helped us get checked in at the airport and work out a tricky situation with luggage weight. It took more than an hour and he stuck with us the entire time. Peter was nothing but patient, kind and more than accommodating in any and all situations. Accommodations were equally as impressive. We stayed in 3 different places that ranged from bush tents to a lodge tucked away on the side of a mountain in the middle of coffee plantations. A great experience with a wide range of amenities that offered a great experience over all. They even arranged out flight and accomodations at a becahfront hotel in Zanzibar. And had contacts for activities there as well. All in all it was above and beyond my expectations and I would with out a doubt recommend this company to anyone traveling to Tanzania. They seem to have a relationship with a vey wide range of establishments and can accommodate to make your stay as luxurious or as budget as you're comfortable with. Our 9 day trip was $200/day/person and included 2 flights, all transportation, 8 nights of accomodations, 3 meals a day (only 2 on Zanzibar) and a guide with endless wealth of information.
