Sameco Tours is the best tour operator I have found for Kenya Safaris.
5/5

I have traveled with Sameco Tours three different times in three consecutive years. I am in the travel business and have compared many tour operators with Sameco Tours. They are by far the best buy for your money and offer exactly the same product as the big US tour operators. I am getting ready to take a group to Kenya and Tanzania this October and could have used any operator, but I chose to stay with Sameco Tours. They are reliable, trustworthy and make you feel part of the Sameco family!

An extremely satisfying safari
5/5

We found Wild Planet Safari on the internet, but got really interested when we read the reviews here on safaribookings.com. They sounded too good to be true. Should we dare take a chance on this? We did, and we were more than totally satisfied with the entire experience.

As we thought about it, we began to realize that a 3-4 day tour of Kruger Park was not going to be nearly enough, especially considering the cost of flying to South Africa; a long-enough tour was needed to make it worth the cost. Ten-day tours sounded interesting, and when we contacted Ryan and Thale about it, we worked together to custom-design a 13-day private tour for the two of us.

We can’t say enough about how easy Ryan and Thale were to work with. They helped us figure out what we were wanting in a safari experience, and then they designed the trip around that. Whenever we had questions, they were ready with straightforward answers that were proactive, answering our follow-up questions without us having to ask. They were always a step ahead of us in working everything out. They thoughtfully accommodated all of the special situations that accompanied us, and went out of their way to make everything work out just perfectly.

The safari itself was a dream come true. We had been planning to do something like this for many years, so we had plenty of imaginative ideas about how great a safari should be, but our experiences with Ryan and Thale far exceeded them all. Every detail of the safari was perfectly planned. Ryan and Thale work together extremely well and make everything happen just like it should. Our days were organized as efficiently as possible, to maximize the amount of time we could spend on game drives. It’s hard to imagine a bush guide that could be more knowledgeable than Ryan. He’s got an incredible knack for finding animals. He knows how they think and behave, and his explanations are both amazing and easy to understand. He understands how the “bush” works; how all of the plants, trees, insects, and animals are interrelated. We were spell-bound by everything he had to tell us. There was nothing we could ask him that he couldn’t explain to us perfectly well. You’d expect that the Kruger Park guides would be even more amazing, but that’s not the case; Ryan out-shined them all.

The accommodations were great. We spent some evenings in tents, one night in a bird hide, and some evenings in bungalows. The food was terrific. Thale’s cooking expertise really showed in the evening meals. Everything was cooked over an open fire, and we enjoyed long conversations over delicious suppers. Even though they were the tour operators and we were the guests, most of the time it just felt like we were camping together as friends.

Beyond the safari, Ryan and Thale helped us plan the extra time we had available in Johannesburg. They arranged for some extra tours, accompanied us at meals, and even had us to their own home for meals and to meet their family and friends.

If we ever go back to South Africa, it’s a slam dunk that we’ll be signing up for another tour with Ryan and Thale.

A beautiful and warm experience with Kathi who understood us and ensured that our trip was memorable
5/5

I think, what really helped was how Kathi and African welcome Safaris managed our aspirations, our desire to see South Africa, and most importantly our anxieties in visiting Africa for the first time. We found Kathi to be ever so warm and present over the phone and the net - she was very responsive to our needs and patient while we mulled over the very many opportunities that we had to choose from. The holiday went beyond our expectations ... we thank her immensely for this.

Finally, coming home..
5/5

IIn march 2014 I went for my life's first 10 day African Safari, guided by Isaac Ouma.
My expectations were on a moderat level as I know how hard it is to deliver optimal experiences in any natural environment, BUT......
Eco Bushmen/ Isaac Ouma surely delivered and this in a overwhelming way.. Isaacs passion and knowledge perfectly balanced with care and flexibility gave me an experience that ended up with me asking him to show the remote control he was using....
To meet the wildlife, culture and the people of Africa together with him and his associates is nothing less than a "Mindblower".
This gave me the feeling of "Finally coming home"
I want to thank Ecobushmen for this gift !!!
P.S.
I will return in a few months..just cant get enough !!!

Awesome Family Safari with Adventura Africa
5/5

We experienced an awesome family safari combining the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta. The safari was really tailored around our needs, which is something that we really appreciated. Every little detail was perfectly arranged and we enjoyed the special sundowners arranged on the safari section (every day). We found Adventura Africa to be really professional and caring to our needs and responded promptly to any changes that we wanted they left us feeling like Kings. The guides were very knowledgeable and really caring about nature and the environment.

WOW! An awe inspiring all learning experience!
5/5

When I booked this tour I was a bit apprehensive especially having to get up so early-I am on holiday
after all! Had I have known how utterly "divine" it was to be I would have willingly stayed up all night.
The wealth of knowledge that was imparted was absolutely incredible. I felt like a sponge trying to absorb it all, and being able to apply the knowledge to the actual animals in front of you was an absolute joy, something I will never forget.
Even though we never saw any "cats", we did see their spoor, it certainly did not detract from the day.
I just love impressing all around me with my newfound knowledge, plenty they did not know but now thanks to Bernhard, and myself, they are now also enlightened.
This safari certainly exceeded all my expectations and was worth every cent, cannot wait to go back with friends and family in tow! Am now also looking for a larger lens for my camera, I can go on and on about the day I enjoyed it so much.
WOW and WOW again!

A special time with nice experiences, great views and awesome people
5/5

Another great trip with African Suburbs Adventures & Travel in 2014...
This year I wanted to do something different and see non touristic areas of Kenya too, so Suburbs holiday consultant and planner Magaki Lamech created another tailor-made and pocket friendly road trip for me. The communication before the trip started was excellent and all the details which were important for me were included. Also some great ideas from Suburbs which have fit in my travel plan perfectly could be organized too.

The tour itself was outgoing from Nairobi. It started in visiting Furaha Community Foundation in Huruma(Nairobi), then straight to Nanyuki (Equator, Ol Pejeta Conservancy), Kisumu (visiting a social Project for orphans and vulnerable children), to Kisii (visiting local people in their rural homes) and finally Mombasa South Coast (beach, old town of Mombasa). All the wishes and expectations I had were beated again by realtiy because I had an awesome time, especially at the local areas. It was great and beyond words which amazing expericenes African Suburbs Adventures made possible for me.

I just can say it again and again: highly professional Company with lots of knowledge and great ideas for unique tours in Kenya. I can recommend African Suburbs Adventures & Travel - they will give you full satisfaction too!

Kind regards,
Tanja
