Review about Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Kyle

Great mountain environment. Had to walkthrough village and farms before reaching the park. Only saw the gorilla there and was a bit underwhelming.

About: Tanzania
Fantastic Trip of a Lifetime
Overall rating
5/5

I had been on a safari the the Massai Mara in Kenya before, but this time I took my entire family. Wife, 2 kids (9 and 10) and my aging parents. Tanzania did not let us down. We did the northern loop (Tarangire, Manyara, Crater, Serengeti) and saw so much wildlife that we still think about it a year later. The landscapes are beautiful and the animals are breathtaking.

Some of the spots like the crater and around central serengeti are busy. Your guide makes your trip hands down. If you have an guide that just cares about time and not his clients, you will have a less than great stay. Our guide went above and beyond to cater to our every need and what we wanted to get out of each day. go to the busy areas first and then branch out to see what Tanzania has to offer. I recommend not staying in the large "tourist processing centers" but the tented camps.....What an adventure.

I cannot wait to go back.

Safari was amazing, booking agent was brilliant and very helpful, answered every email and question I had and organised transfers very well. Stayed at kichwa tempo which was beautiful, it had a very personal touch, the lodges were perfect and the food was lovely. Our guide was brilliant and went out his way to make sure we see whatever we was interested in. Weather was hot in day time slightly cold of night time and early mornings. Overall had one of the best times in my life here was absolutely perfect.

Raw Bush Adventure
5/5

Tanzania is beautiful and Kilimanjaro Budget Safaris hosted our safari very smoothly. The last 7 days of our camping safari have been filled with wild safari adventure. It has been wonderful from the moment we landed in Tz and started our safari the following day in the morning.

Major favourite points of the safari are black rhino in Ngorongoro, dancing with Hadzabe bushmen, picnic lunch in the bush, waking up to natural African sounds, enjoying the African sunset after game drives........ infact it has been great. We chose camping option rather than sleeping in lodges to experience the raw bush experience and there are no regrets as it has been quite comfortable and the delicious food complements to the our private camping cook Jackson.

Sleeping in a tent in the parks is very exciting as the night is filled with sounds of wild animals passing near the campsite. The game drives in Serengeti are very special as you follow the wildebeest in the open expansive plains for miles.

Wonderful experience at the right price. This has been a very different experience from seeing animals in the zoo and will come back sometime for more.

Amazing, unique experience with expert guide and company. Thank you!

Speke Uganda Holidays and in particular our guide David made this truly amazing experience extra special. The trip was very well organised from beginning to end, the accommodation was lovely (and usually in a fabulous, scenic location), and everything was focused on making sure that our experience was the best it could possibly be. I cannot speak highly enough of Speke Uganda Holidays. A very professional company whose focus is on making sure that their clients enjoy their time in this lovely country. Our guide David clearly loves his country and is an amazing ambassador for Uganda and for Speke Uganda Holidays.

An all-inclusive safari that doesn't bankrupt you!
5/5

We are very late writing this review, but our guide/driver Adam and our chef Isaac took incredible care of us and showed us one of this planets most extraordinary biomes. We did the 7 day safari but tacked two additional days on the end and came back with hundreds upon hundreds of photos of every animal you could want to see and many we didn't even know about before we left. This safari is great for you if you want to rough it just a liiiiiittle bit so you feel like you are out in the natural world, but when you need a creature comfort like a shower you can have that too. The hotel at Arusha is quite nice and comfortable and on the flip side the camping in Tarangire and the Serengeti is a lot of fun an isn't dangerous. Basically if you have ever camped and enjoyed it you will enjoy this. We were well fed and the guys were very accommodating if we had a need or request and we were very safe. They wouldn't let you put yourself in danger were always there with helpful advice. Really if you want to go on safari but don't have $8k-$10k to throw around I highly recommend this one. You'll see everything you dreamed of seeing and the only thing you will miss is the opulent former hunting lodges. And since hotels aren't why you come to Tanzania, you won't miss them one bit.
Adam and Isaac, sorry it took us so long to say THANK YOU!

An incredible real safari experience, well organised, tailored, easy, fun and confortable!
5/5

It was really well organised!
Since we contacted them , they text us back in 5 minutes. Pick up at the airport, and once at the hotel, we could pay there (they gave us the option to pay at arrival).
Next day we started the safari and was incredible! with the best guide ever, Brenson, explained us all the animals, and in 4 days we saw all of them!
Really professional! We had a great time with him and the food was also great!
Sleeping inside the natural parks was amazing! It made everything more authentic.
The team at the hotel was also really kind, and helpful.

Tanzania is going to be in my heart for a while... for sure!
