The first four and a half days of the camping safari were full of unique experiences being up close to the wild life that abounds in Northern Botswana. The guide, Rass and the cook were both very professional and experienced. Rass made the safari very rewarding with his intimeny knowledge of the animals and their behavior. This was especially valuabe on the third night when thre Lions came within 20 metres of our camp, chasing an Impala. Rass controlled the situation very well by giving clear instructions to all of the people on the Safari and maintaining our safety.
The other two and a half days were not so rewarding, with little wild life to see and long distances to travel.

Kilimanjaro trekking and Safari
I had a fantastic life-time experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on the Machame route for 6 days followed by a 4 days Safari. I got in touch with Godfrey early December. He was patiently answering my thousands of questions and was able to meet all my requests. Throughout the trip the Team constantly supported us, John and Anderson, our Guides were helpful, knowledgeable and with great sense of humour. They made me feel safe and 100% in good hands. The Porters were extremely hardworking and supportive too. The Safari was also wonderful. We travelled through beautiful landscapes, saw lots of animals, ate delicious food and spent the nights in the heart of the game reserves. Our Guide, Ben has great respect for nature and eyes like an eagle. The entire Team was very friendly and made our trip unforgettable.

WE were very happy with the quality of our accommodations, especially after traveling to other places . We were also very impressed with the food everywhere. The guides, David and Robert were great, professional, kind and loving people. They cared very much about us, made us feel safe, had good knowledge about Uganda, the communities, the animals, the nature and so on.
The trip has given me experiences for a lifetime, that I will never forget. We came very close to the wildlife on our campdrives, the gorillatrekking was excelent and the communities invited us in, so we could experience the real Uganda culture - that was for me the biggest experiences.

5 Day Marangu Route to Mount Kilimanjaro
I am very excited to say that I reached the summit on Mount Kilimanjaro with MJ Safari! From the very beginning, Jackson was quick to answer all of my questions and had very awesome communication! I am in Tanzania volunteering at an orphanage and staying at a home stay in Arusha, and the very friendly Mr. Ali came and picked me up to take me to my hotel in Moshi. Jackson met me there and made sure I had all of the equipment and gear I needed to get me through the trek. The guide and porters were amazing! They made delicious meals and accommodated my vegetarian diet perfectly! They made sure everyone in my group was doing well and kept us happy with their kindness and great attitudes! Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but thanks to MJ Safaris, I had an incredible and memorable experience!!!

Unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania
Picking a tour company for a once in a lifetime safari experience is difficult, so I was very lucky to have made the right choice to go with Godfrey. I was travelling alone as a volunteer and had heard other volunteers raving about Godfrey Willy, a tour guide operating safaris from Arusha. They said he could personalise tours at a reasonable price, so I gathered a group of volunteers and off we went. It was definitely a highlight of my trip. Godfrey is very knowledgeable, friendly, and got out of his way to accommodate for anything we needed. He knew where to go to spot the animals and knew everything about them. We got to see the big five and much much more. We camped right by the elephants and wildebeest, and heard hyenas throughout the night. It was a truly unforgettable experience. If I got to go again, I'd pick going with Godfrey every time.

Excellent experience with tour organizing in Tanzania with Mama Savana
This July and August we went with our two girls (12 and 15 years) to Tanzania. Alex from Mama Savana organized an individual family tour for us. Our tour included Dar es Salaam, Selous Game Resourt, Stone Town, Beach in Zanzibar and back to Dar es Salaam. All the transfers worked fine, the Logdes and hotels he picked for us, werde excellent and we felt very safe and in very good hands. We had wonderful and interesting experience with all people we met through Mama Savana. Alex was always atainable and made sure our tour went according to the plan. We are very happy picked Mama Savana and would highly recommed it to everybody who seeks individual tours.

From start to finish we have had the absolute best service from Encompass Africa. Our first meeting with Jonno sold us, his enthusiasm and knowledge confirmed that we were going to be well looked after and we were. Our safari consisted of our family group of five traveling to Namibia and Victoria Falls and then myself and my husband going on to Botswana. The Namibia trip was amazing, Jonno listened to my ideas about where we wanted to go, made suggestions and together we came up with a great itinerary which included a mix of budget and luxury lodges to suit our budget. Similarly in Botswana he worked hard to come up with an itinerary that would get us the best value for money in a very expensive country. This consisted of time on the Chobe Princess Houseboats and nights in Kwando Lagoon and Kwando Kwara camps. All of the camps lived up to and exceeded expectations plus the small things such as transfers also went off without a hitch. On return Encompass Africa have been in contact with us to make sure everything went well and to seek feedback to ensure they continue to offer good service. At first I was a little wary about using a small company but I have had no regrets. Encompass Africa's quotes were significantly lower than the larger brochured companies we looked into plus they were able to lock in prices ahead which was fantastic. I would highly recommend them and have already done so to friends and family.

The perfect honeymoon!
Earlier this month we went on our 10 days African honeymoon organized by Roho Ya Chui. We visited Botswana (Chobe), Zambia (Victoria Falls) and South Africa (Kirkman Kamp). Ute did an outstanding job at organizing everything for us, completely lived up to our expectations . It was absolutely perfect. She's very professional and goes the extra mile to understand what exactly is what you want on your trip to make sure you get that at a minimum. Communication was swift, replies to emails happened in less than 24 hours. Detailed itinerary is given to you so you know exactly what's happening during your trip. All locations we visited were fantastic. In summary, it was the perfect African adventure!
