Fun and friendly
I went on a game drive and river cruise in Uganda and the team at Tapestry of Africa were really helpful and attentive. The guides are knowledgeable of both the animals and the local customs. 10/10 these people are great.

Overall amazing 1st safari experience and service despite some hiccups with the car
We had a great experience overall with Serengeti Smile, especially with our guide, Gama.
Communication from the outset was brilliant, Erick was very response over email or WhatsApp and they were able to cater the safari to cover the stops we wanted to. We only booked a couple of months in advance so the accommodation we selected originally wasn't available but they were able to find alternatives for us, keeping to the same budget.
Our itinerary was 4 nights, 4 days safari, covering Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro.
Our guide was great and we managed to see all the animals we were hoping to albeit we only caught the rhino from a distance!
We loved Serengeti where we saw so many zebra and giraffe plus lions, cheetah and a leopard sleeping in a tree; but Ngorogoro crater was our favourite for the scenery!
We stayed at Gold Crest Hotel in Arusha as part of the package before starting the safari which was OK but nothing special.
But we loved the other stops at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu, Safari View Luxury Camp in Serengeti and Kuhama Camp on the Ngorogoro Crater rim!
We did have a few issues with the car which cost us some time, including a major failure on the rear suspension which gave us a bit of a scare! However, the friendliness of the other guides, regardless of which company they worked for was amazing to see, so many other safari cars stopped to help us and our guide managed to arrange for us to jump into another car to take us to our camp while he took the car for repair.
This was our first safari experience and we found the choice of operators and options overwhelming at first but in the end we were really happy we went with Serengeti Smile and felt
we got good value for money (we also gave our guide a good tip).
We agreed to pay 30% deposit upfront and the rest on arrival, which gave us some comfort too.

We did a 3 day safari from joburg and returned via the panoramic route. The whole experience was smooth from beginning to end. We had Lucky as our driver and guide and he was great! Friendly, knowledgable and ensured we got to see some rhinos on the drive back when we didn’t get to see them in Kruger! He also made some great recommendations and was always on time and made sure there was good communication throughout. The safari experience itself was a dream! We got to see 4/5 the big five and all of the ugly 5. It was a once in a lifetime experience and one of the top memories from our honeymoon

very organized, great communication, amazikg tour!
We did the 4-days Gorilla and Golden monley trek and we were happy from the beginning on.
Before the booking Bonny answered many questions and prepared us for the upcoming trip. Once we arrived we got picked up at the airport and brought to our hotel. Organization in overall was perfect. The lodges that Likana has choosen for us were also very good value for money. The trekking was the highlight of course, but the whole trip was a perfect mixture between excitement and relaxing.
Communication was very easy, spontanious adaption in the tour were always possible.
It was always fun to talk to our guides, we learned a lot about the countries, its culture and the wildlife.
To be honest, there wasn't anything that we weren't happy about.

We had an amazing experience with Mountain Warriors.
We got picked up at Seronera Airstrip by Ruth and Mbwana. We stayed for 3 days with them as we did the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro. It was amazing, we were very lucky to see many of the wildlife animals. Ruth and Mbwana were very helpful, during the safari and also at night, where we were staying. I really recommend ! Thank you both!

We did a 4 day safari, Tarangere, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide was Omary, what a legend! Omary is so knowledgeable and such a fun person to be in the car with for many hours! I wish I could bottle his laugh for a sad day 😄 Omary made our experience an unforgettable one and made sure we saw everything possible and as up close as possible - the big 5 and the ugly 5 🤣 Would recommend to anyone! We did mid range accomodation and it was stunning!

Exceeded all expectations
This was our first safari experience and it exceeded all expectations. Elizabeth at Goldfinch Expeditions was brilliant, she helped advise us which parks to visit, provided a detailed itinerary and gave us advice on what to bring with us. The communication leading up to the safari was excellent and any questions were answered promptly.
Elizabeth and Karim met us at the airport and took us to our first hotel in Arusha and then we were picked up by our guide early the next morning to embark on our safari experience.We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater and also did a hot air balloon experience. Each park was unique in its way and offered us a chance to see different wildlife. During the trip, everything ran smoothly and on time.
We had a fantastic guide, Malik, who had so much knowledge and experience. He was a great driver and his skills allowed us to see countless animals including the ‘big five’. They also accommodated a vegetarian diet and throughout the day provided us with water and other soft drinks, as well as regular breaks when needed.
All the accommodation was comfortable, the staff were hospitable and the food and entertainment was great. We enjoyed our stay at every single lodge.
Overall, I highly recommend Goldfinch Expeditions for anyone looking to embark on a safari in Tanzania. It was an unforgettable experience and I even wish it could have been longer.
