Amazing Savannah and the awesome Serengeti!
5/5

A huge item on my bucket (oops! Barrel list) that got ticked off last month and it was nothing short of a dream come true. We did a 4 night trip to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater from 26th to 30th May and Imran of Safari Big 5 did a swell job of organizing the travel as per our requirements.

I have to give a special mention here to Nurdin - our very able and knowledgeable driver, who knows the Serengeti like the back of his palm. An expert driver whose passion is wildlife, he drove us around in Serengeti (it's a 14000 sq km national park, so obviously one can't cover it all) and we were absolutely lucky to sight ALL of the BIG 5, among other adorable birds and animals. And our timing was right, since the Wildebeest were also migrating towards the Mara, so the sight of thousands and thousands of Wildebeest on their migratory trail, which is considered the world's biggest wildlife spectacle, was the icing on the cake.

The African black rhino can be sighted only at Ngorongoro, and guess what?? We saw him there too in all his royalty!!

All thanks to Nurdin and his knowledge, his dedication, his humility and his work.

The Sopa Lodge at Ngorongoro was top class and the Serengeti Seronera Lodge at the Serengeti was also quite good (reviewed both separately).

Would recommend Safari Big 5 to anyone who wants to plan a trip to the amazing Savannah.

The ultimate, authentic safari you always dreamed of!
5/5

We just returned home from our week long Moriti Private Safari, I am pleased to say it exceeded our expectations in every way! The owner and guide Shaun Taylor, is a wonderful young man who has a deep knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the bush. His care and attention to every detail made this trip a dream come true! We saw so much, learned so much, and ate so much wonderful food that the week couldn't have been any better. Our private chef, Lindsey cooked up delicious dishes at every meal, and we enjoyed her company along with Shaun and the other support staff. The accommodations were five star all the way, and I would highly recommend this company for your dream safari!

Remote Beauty
Overall rating
5/5

Once you enter the National Park, Skeleton Coast reveals a stunning beauty. You may not expect spectacular wildlife sights. We spotted only few animals – jackals, cormorants and a dead hyena. But if you stop and linger you experience the exceptional mixture of ocean, desert and history in form of shipwrecks and abandoned mining facilities. And in the northern part of the Park many plants like welwitchias colorize the desert dunes.

The PERFECT safari experience with an amazing outfit and guide!
5/5

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Duma Explore and Shange, our guide. From the moment we arrived they took care of every detail for us. The Duma camp is beautiful, the vehicle is clean & comfortable and the guiding was excellent, definitely ask for Shange if he's available. He has 18 years of experience and was a wonderful person to get to know throughout our trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Three weeks we never will forget
5/5

Thank you so much for the three greatest adventures weeks we have had. We traveled through South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

We saw every animal we could ever dream of. Beautiful sceneries, places and fantastic national pearls.

The guides from Wild Planet Safari, Thale and Ryan, made the trip unforgetable. The knowlage about every animal, flora, fauna and places were explizit. Ryan could spot a animal from a great distance and Thale would make up the best dishes. Since the trip was a personal trip with the only two of us, we were able to take full advantage of our guides and were able to stop when we wanted, get the game drives we wanted and last but not least get the photos we wanted.

The food was delicious, variated and tasty. We still talk about all the different delicious sausages we had every day in addition to dinner. We had all the great camping sites with comforting tents. We espesially remembering the campsite at Mapungubwe where the bushbuck walk next to us whilst we had breakfast, and the monkeyes with some cheeky monkey business.

If you want a tailor made and personal trip, with guides that have the knowlage we would love to recommend Wild Planet Safari with Thale and Ryan!!

Thank you so much for the tour.

Amazing Safari Trip With Good Price And Services
5/5

We are a group of final year medical students who were joining Asili Explorer for a 7-day 6-night safari trip after our attachment in Haydom Lutherans Hospital. We all find the trip memorable and satisfactory with a reasonable price.
Throughout the whole safari, Joe, our guide and the owner of the company, never let us down in finding the hidden animals and offering detailed descriptions. He was very experienced guide who worked for a long time before opening up his own company. He had no problem in communication with us in English. We were very lucky to see all the Big 5, especially leopards which always hide themselves on trees in the daytime and are very hard to identify. He is also very nice and willing to share with us the different cultures of Tanzania during mealtime.
We chose to camp in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The experience was excellent. The campsite was beautiful and the tent offered by Joe was quite comfortable to sleep in.
The food offered by Issac the chef was also wonderful. We had different dishes everyday. They were all very delicious and were out of our expectations. We usually had lunchboxes in the daytime and a full course meal with soup, main courses and desserts for dinner at the campsite. Joe also mentioned to us that they can prepare special meals for vegetarians or other specific requests.
Overall, Asili Explorer is a quite new company yet with experienced and passionate guides. They offered us an unforgettable safari trip with a good price and excellent services.

great safari with duma!!
5/5

The safari we did for 1 week with duma was great. The guide, Ebeneezer, can spot wild animals from incredibly far away. he is a very friendly, knowledgeable and reliable guide. We really enjoyed talking to him about wildlife but not only...he is also keen in speaking about economics, politics and the general situation of Tanzania. We definitely recommend a safari with duma!!

I would recommend a Steady Safari experience to anyone for professional detailed service offered.
5/5

I would recommend a Steady Safari experience to anyone.

I regularly visit Uganda for work and decided to take a safari on my last visit. As a single traveller I was a bit nervous of taking a safari by myself, but Carlos from Steady Safaris was amazing. All the arrangements for the trip were sorted out via email prior to me departing for Uganda which made life much easier.

I had a personal safari experience. Carlos made sure I had a great time even though I traveled alone. We had a wonderful time at the rhino sanctuary on route to Murchison Falls National Park, and the Murchison Park itself was amazing. Our dusk safari was excellent, got to see the big 5, with an afternoon safari adventure thrown in to ensure I saw the lions. The boat trip to the falls was also wonderful, a real experience. I got to stay at the very luxurious Paraa Lodge which was an extra bonus. Carlos made sure my experience was special and I felt safe and secure for my whole trip - as well as having fun! Door to door service provided as well which really helped. I would recommend Steady Safaris to anyone, particularly single travelers as they make sure you don't miss out on any of the excitement just because you are traveling alone. Carlos has excellent local knowledge and knows how to make sure you have the best safari experience.

Walter from Safari Online organised a memorable trip that lived up to all our expectations.
5/5

From the moment I contacted Safari Online Walter dealt promptly and efficiently with all my questions and offered excellent advice about my chosen itinerary and preferred accommodation. At no time was there any pressure to choose Safari Online over other operators but at the same time Walter seemed to understand best the experience we were looking for in Namibia and Botswana and the total cost was in line with our budget. The trip was seamless from beginning to end and met our rather high expectations on all fronts. I will definitely use Safari Online for my next trip to Africa.
