An exhilarating introduction to Kenya
4/5

As a mature traveller, I booked with KBS after careful research, including contact with a number of previous Reviewers, to ensure their comments were genuine. That, and the immediate answers to all my many queries given by Esther Ndegwa, satisfied my reserve. I was not disappointed. From the moment I was met at Nairobi airport, to being escorted to the shuttle bus to Arusha for the Tanzanian leg of my safari, all was handled well. Bear in mind the name - Kenya Budget Safaris, and don't expect luxury accommodation or transport. But if you want good value, and an excellent opportunity to see some of Kenya's fabulous wildlife, this is for you.

Thank you Nyati for all your patience with our every changing requirements and for putting together a brilliant itinerary. Everything worked like clockwork: Clare transport, tickets, accommodation and activities. Will gladly recommend you to friends and colleagues.

Lovely two days Serengeti in wet season
5/5

Had a nice time with the guide Alfred (aka Freddy). Two nights and three days in Serengeti. Freddy is well organized, precise and punctual and also knows where to spot stunning views of the Serengeti. All went very smooth, food was good, comfortable tents and safe driving. I would recommend it.

We had a great Safari with Elephants, Giraffs and a lot more. The Service was perfectly and we had a lot of fun with our lovely Guide. Three Days of Action and africa from its greatest side.
Would love to do this Trip again!

One of the Best Tour
5/5

One of the most wonderful and memorable holiday we had. A group of 11 of us had a fantastic trip in Uganda.
Jackie had arranged everything in detail as per our instructions. Hotels were all very good. All the safaris and visit to Murchison Falls will stay in our memories for a long time. Our tour manager, guide Jack was fantastic. A very helpful and knowledgeable person. He would do anything for you. I would recommend Katona Tours & Travel to anybody without any hesitation.

Review about Madikwe Game Reserve by Ilana

A 5-Star bush experience. Everything was of the highest standards - the accommodation, the food, the game rangers, the service, the wildlife and the birding. An absolute dream come true. We were spoiled rotten.

An experience that makes you hunger for more.

Visiting the Kruger for the first time was a fantastic experience. We loved the atmosphere and beauty of the bush, added some 20 new bird species to our birding lists, ate well at the Mugg and Beans now available at several camping sites and enjoyed satisfactory accommodation. Although our visit was shortly after the drought and we didn't have as many wildlife sightings as we could have, the size of the park and the knowledge of an abundance of species kept us in anticipation of what we could see around the next corner. We boasted for weeks after with memorable photographs and we knew instantly that we would purchase a wild card and visit the park more regularly. A bush-lover's dream.

The weather was perfect. In total we saw 555 animals! 28 different species. We only did 10% of the park!
We started at Crocodile bridge, spent the night there, which was idyllic. I saw my first bush babies there. They were about one metre away and were not scared. The following day we went to Lower Sabie. Stunning!! Elephants , hippos, crocs, monitor lizard, water buck , we stayed at Berg en dal that evening. We had a wonderful time driving around and stopping off at different places for brunch etc. I love the Kruger National Park. We will definitely be returning, but for a lot longer next time!! Please look at my Flickr account to see my photos kaz3160.
If undecided, I would definitely recommend that you go!!!

Every safari destination I have visited within South Africa has been truly worth it. The game reserves are generally of a very high standard. South Africa has around 1000 bird species, it's impossible to get bored.
