Well organized, great guide!
Did a Gorilla Trek with them in Uganda and Rwanda, with our guide Apollo. Very organized company and itinerary was as we asked for. Have to be proactive with your communication with them, but would highly recommend Apollo and their office staff. Car could have been nicer, but TIA…

Mixed costumer service and drivers
An honest review - We had a mixed experience with Josana Tours. They are a good company when things are going smoothly but their costumer service is poor when there are issues or things go wrong. We booked the 7 day 6 night safari. The communication before the trip with Joseph was great. 5 out of the 7 days were a positive enjoyable experience unfortunately our last two days were not. We had 4 drivers overall - 2 were very good and 2 were not. Jason was an excellent driver/guide - we had an amazing safari in
Massai Mara. Overall the food was okay-some places better than others - we got sick from one of the lunches. Our last two days, we had a very negative experience with aggressive and hostile drivers. Our full game drive in Ambolsi finished 2 and 1/2 hours earlier than others which led to us missing out on seeing lions and other animals. We spent over 1 hour 10minute sitting in a lodge and then an hour lunch break. We had very little time game driving. The driver was also very rude and uninterested. I contacted Joseph and unfortunately there wasn't much done to rectify the situation or a solution provided. He did apologise for the situation the following day but a client in another company received compensation. If I was booking again I feel I would use a different company as there are many in the same price range and they do the same route. We had a mix of companies in our vans. We thought we were unlucky with the situation that took place however in our taxi to the airport we met others who also experienced bad drivers and bad game drives with the same company. I feel the how a company responds to unexpected changes or incidents shows their strenght and unfortunately Josana Tours were very weak in this area, which isn't what you want when booking a trip.

kikitu is best. 7-Day Safari experience
Kikitu is the best - 7-Day Safari in Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Amboseli.
This 7-day safari was truly a dream come true. Our experience was elevated by our exceptional driver and guide, Kikitu. Without him, our trip might have been very different. Kikitu is passionate about what he does, tirelessly working to ensure we saw all the Big Five and much more. His deep connections and excellent communication skills enriched our understanding of the wildlife.
Kikitu is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, making sure everyone in our group had an unforgettable experience. He was always on time, incredibly reliable, and his expertise about the Maasai Mara was unmatched. If you want the best safari experience, I highly recommend booking with Kikitu. He truly made our trip extraordinary!

Namibia tour
We did the Namibian tour with Kiboko.
Beautiful landscapes and everything organized in a flawless way. A huge thanks to the guys who accompanied us. Our guide Washington was very organized, he drove every day for many kilometers always with a smile and always satisfied our curiosity explaining everything in detail. Dean and Simon accompanied our journey with their friendliness, exuberance and their fantastic dishes. A special thanks also to Luca, our Italian guide, for being a real travel companion.
They have created a very close-knit team and made us feel like we were always in family
It was a fantastic tour that I absolutely recommend and would gladly do again

Good value and lovely experience
We really enjoyed our Safari from pick-up at Arusha airport through the parks and back. Our ranger (Ole) was friendly, knowlegeable and a good driver.
The campingsites were better than expected; and hearing the animals at night was so beautiful.

A Lifetime Experience
My recent safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable adventure, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our guide Aloyce and the team at Amshar Serengeti Adventures led by Leon.
We had the chance to witness the Big Five, marvel at a lion in action, and experience the awe-inspiring migration and river crossings!
Aloyce's extensive knowledge of the local wildlife, landscapes, and ecosystems was truly remarkable. He skillfully navigated the stunning Tanzanian terrain, spotting rare animals and highlighting intricate details that deepened our appreciation of the environment. His insights into local culture and history were equally enriching, and his humor added a delightful touch to the experience.
With Aloyce's exceptional guidance, our safari was a resounding success, offering once-in-a-lifetime sightings, breathtaking vistas, and memories that will last forever. I highly recommend Aloyce and Amshar Serengeti Adventures to anyone seeking an extraordinary safari experience in Tanzania.

Pilanesberg is a safe area with beautiful landscape and a chance to see many animals during 3/4 days
Our combo Sun City / Pilanesberg was great. First two days at Sun City with the kids in this huge fun park and the Cascade Hostel delivered fantastic breakfasts. The family room was also perfect to check the activities of the kids in the other room. The wildlife park just at 20 minutes is true place for a safari with the big 5, with very few chance to see leopards, a shy animal. We recommended the Shephard's tree, well localised, great kitchen and professional guides here.

TOP! Magnificent!
What a wonderful time spent with Plex Africa. We opted for the 3 days of game drive with the safari boat. We were leaving from Zanzibar so having the return flight included was not insignificant. Once arrived in Nyerere (Selou) we had the chance to meet our guide Selum who accompanied us throughout our stay. A caring person, very kind and who knew how to make our 3 days very pleasant.
The park is very large, we saw a lot of animals there. It was fantastic. Being able to have breakfast or lunch in the middle of these landscapes are moments that will remain unforgettable.
The lodge was very comfortable with staff always attentive.
Communication with the tour operator is fluid via WhatsApp.
We also had the opportunity to visit the village next to our lodge. It was a very touching moment. Remember to bring small school supplies for the children, otherwise sweets are always nice :)
In short, we are very satisfied with Plex Africa who made these 3 days a perfect experience.

very welcoming people, akunamatata. any problem is not a problem.
Me and my family had a 6 days safari with Fullpackageadventure in Tanzania and then moved to Zanzibar for 5 more days.
The driver/guide (Adrian9 form the agency was really super. Very nice and very competent about driving, wildlife and orienteering... which is not easy at all!
I think in Tanzania one must study 4 years at the University to become a safari guide.
We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. All parks offer different animals and very different landscapes. Lake Manyara was the less interesting but as last day it was a good way to a soft coming back to "city life".
Be aware that in August parks are not that hot! There is a plasent temperature. If you are going to visit Ngorongoro you will reach 2200 metres altitude so you will need a warm jumper/coat.
All Tanzania people are super nice and really welcoming.
It is a very safe country where you can travel without any fear.
We liked Tanzania (and Zanzibar), its people and its fruits very much!
