Personalized service catering to my needs was great.
5/5

All the arrangements were made by Destination Jungle, which is based in Kampala. They laid on transport - a 4x4 private hire – arranged for one of the best guides to accompany me and even asked about my food preferences. Making the arrangements was a piece of cake: I just dropped in at the office to make the payment after arriving in Kampala. And I got personalized service, which always makes a huge difference.

Unforgettable memory
5/5

Gombe Safari provides a good deal for 3D2N in Mikumi National Park. Starting from deal until the end of the trip, they manage everything professionally. My safari guide, Roman, is a knowledgeable and punctual person. He willing to share the knowledge regarding the animals, and able to explain to my curiosity about animals. He even lead us found the female lion with two little cubs in firtst day! Overall, Gombe Safari did a good job and give me an unforgettable memory in Tanzania. Those who has little time at Dar es Salaam but planning to go for short safari, I would recommend Gombe Safari as one of your choice.

Highly recommend--Amazing experience (from Minnesota,USA)
5/5

My daughter and I are from Rochester, Minnesota, USA and had an amazing experience with Bestday Safaris. We chose to do the 3 day and 2 night safari (Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, and Tanganire), and Peter was very good at emailing with us and catering to our needs. We saw so many incredible animals (elephants--very close and we saw them bathing too--, zebras, baboons, wildebeest, lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, ostriches, warthogs, various colorful birds, and rodents too) and we got very close too. Being from a place with a climate very different than Africa's it was all very beautiful and interesting and our guide Godfrey was great at helping us learn about the climate. Godfrey had the best eye and would be able to spot an animal miles away; he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a VERY GOOD driver. Our experience couldn't have been better with Bestday Safaris and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone; so if you are deciding between some, choose this one, you won't be disappointed.

Review about Sabi Sand Game Reserve by Amy
Overall rating
5/5

We had great wildlife sightings in Sabi Sands, including a very close encounter with a pair of mating leopards! Incredible!

We did find that we saw more people and safari trucks than in Timbavati, and therefore the "bush vibe" is not the same. We felt more "in the wild" in Timbavati.

The game viewing was fantastic. We had close encounters with elephants, lions eating a kill, rhinos with a calf, and even saw a pair of leopards mating - right beside the Land Rover! We did have one quiet game drive, which goes to show you that the animals are wildlife, and nature is unpredictable. But our guide was determined to get us a close encounter with a leopard, and during the last hour of hour final drive, we sure did!!! Other highlights included sundowners (cocktails at sunset in the bush), and wild life viewing right from the dining area (some a little too close!!).

Down-to-earth but comfortable bush experience! Amazing Wildlife!

We had an amazing time in Timbavati. It was our first introduction to the South African bush, and it was
truly amazing. We stayed at Shindzela Tented Camp. The small size of the camp makes for an intimate experience, and you have a chance to meet and make friends with the guides, as well as other guests from around the world. The tents are extremely comfortable, providing everything you need. Our guide, Eugene, and tracker, Guyane (spelling?) were outstanding. They were a great team, and their knowledge and skill resulted in some extremely close encounters with wildlife.

The game viewing at Timbavati was outstanding. During our transfer drive into the reserve, we saw a herd of elephants, including babies! During game drives, we saw lions on a recent kill, got very close to elephants, hyenas, giraffe, you name it. Being able to continue the game drives after dark is also amazing, hearing a lion roar after dark, spotting honey badgers and a jackal were all highlights once the sun set.

The overall experience and atmosphere at Timbavati was exactly what we were looking for, and better. If
you are looking for a rustic, yet comfortable, true bush experience, this is your place. We are already
talking about going back in the future, and staying more than 2 nights!!

Best place to see black rhino.

We spent four days at the Imfolozi reserve at Mpila camp, and it was great! Mpila is located on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Reserve from the bungalows. We saw both black and white rhino (whites every day), as well as elephant, lion, a dozen species of antelope (including nyala right outside our bungalow). The bungalows were nice, clean, and very reasonable cost-wise. Less crowded than Kruger, with the same excellent wildlife viewing. .. Birding was also great. We're from California and clocked about eighty species in the four days.
