It was the only safari I've ever been on, so I don't have anything to compare it to. However, for a first time, it was wonderful.

Should fill petrol and those type of things before fetching the client.

Very good views of a number of mammals, especially leopards, elephants and white rhino but fewer bird species than expected. This could have been due to the very dry months prior to our visit with rains only beginning a day or two before our arrival. During the course of our stay the bush started to turn green so I can imagine that the scenic beauty will be much better in the weeks and months to come.

Vic falls April 2014
4/5

Overall, great thank you for helping to plan and arrange for activities and accommodation in Vic Falls.
All the requests were addressed promptly during booking.
What was even better, that despite couple of last minute changes we got booked into everything we wanted to experience in Zimbabwe :)

Tanzania was an incredible country. It was my first trip to Africa. All of the locals were very knowledgable. The areas are safe and the scenery is incredible. I would recommend this destination.

Highlights of South Africa, Cape Town to Sabi Sands
4/5

Hello Kathi,

Just a short note to say thank you for schedule and arrangements for our trip to South Africa; everything was perfect from the "meet & greet" at J'Burg through to the final transfer back to J'Burg Airport.
There were many highlights but to mention just a few;
1. Cape Grace Hotel - we couldn't have picked a better Hotel for both service & location. The V&A Waterfront is fanatstic and close to eveything Cape Town has to offer.
2. Louis - spending time with Louis as our Tour Guide was an absolute pleasure. His knowledge of Cape Town and South Africa is superb, not to mention his easy going personality.
3. Leopard Hills - the true highlight of the trip. Everything was perfect, Accommodation, Meals, Game Viewing, etc. all exceeded our expectations. Dave, our Ranger was fantastic!
We have some wonderful memories and hundereds of photos from our Trip. I'm sure we wll be back for another taste in the near future.
Once again, thank you

P.S. Sun City was a little disappointing, my choice to visit there not yours. I did enjoy the golf course and The Palace but the rest of Sun City is very "family & childen"oriented.

exciting and a different experience

I think Kenya walking tours are good and trustworthy. What I liked best are the game drives in Samburu national reserve and MasaiMara. The tent were equipped with beds and showers, but there was no connectivity and couldn't send messages nor an wi fi. I admit the distances between one park and the other are too far and we spent alotof time on the roads, some of them really rough and bumpy which left me exhausted at times butin the end you'll find it was worth it.

satisfactory and interesting ,and a full time occupying programme
4/5

I found the managing operator as a reliable and trustful person. He adapted a full programme at an affordable price. He always answered my queries, re-assured me and satisfied my stay. The trips from one place to another are endless ,considering the distances from one place to another are far from each other. We always found people ready to welcome us with savoury delicious food which was able to make me forget the endless drive. A couple of times we found guest house which wasn't up to decent standard like no hot water and a broken bathroom mirror, no connectivity. One thing bothered us a little,is that you are imposed to leave tips to everyone who delivers a service which is quite impossible considering the many hotels.lodges and campsites, including the excursions, you visit. That is up to us to decide who deserves tips and how much you give. They frown at you or show you a cold shoulder if you don't satisfy their expectation. Otherwise I thank Walking safaris for taking care of us and made our saty in Kenya and Uganda a pleasurable one

About: Kenya
Great service from Bushtroop safaris
Overall rating
4/5

Hello Everyone,

We just came back from Kenya and would like to share our experience.
We did 3 days/2 nights safari in Masaai Mara organised by Bushtroop Safaris. Jacqueline, the Sales Manager, was super helpful and responded to all our queries prior to booking our trip and also she looked after us once we landed in Kenya from the beginning to the very end. Our safari driver Isaac was knowledgeable and had a lot of experience.
We stayed in Lenchada Tourist Camp, situated just outside the Park gates. Safe, clean, surroundings very well kept with pleasant staff. Each tent has a bathroom and shower with hot water included inside as well as a double bed if required. Food was also tasty (if you have any special requirements you can notify the camp and they try their best to accommodate it). Drinking water is normally supplied by the Safari Agent but in case you run out, there is a bar (beer costs Kes250). In my opinion Lenchada has a higher standard than Enchoro Wildlife Camp that I stayed in last time I went to Mara.
One of the highlights for me was falling asleep in the tent being surrounded by the nature that comes alive at night, hearing all the animals outside is very special.
Our safari included a pick up from the airport, drive to Mara with the lunch on the way, photo stop at Great Rift Valley, afternoon game drive in the Park, all day game drive the next day (7am – 4:30pm), time at our leisure or optional Masaai Mara village tour, morning game drive on the last day, all meals and water while on safari and drop off at Nairobi or airport,
We saw a lot of animals including zebras, antelopes, elephants, lions and 02 beautiful families of cheetahs. We even witnessed the attempt of hunting. Truly amazing.
We definitely recommend the Bushtroop Safaris as they are very reliable and affordable. They have delivered all what they have promised and made our safari very memorable. Thank you.

Best regards
