Lion King is a wonderful locally based and operated safari company!!!
5/5

My husband and I recently finished an 8 day safari, plus two days of local tours with Lion King. The safari experience was truly above and beyond what we could have ever imagined! Lion King is an extremely well run organization, and our experience was excellent every step of the way (from initial inquiries to booking to our actual experiences on the ground). Our guide, Enock, was an absolute joy to be with, and he made every effort to ensure we had a spectacular safari. He is incredibly well versed in the terrain, animal identification, animal behaviors, local topography, and hospitality!!! Fortunately for us, he also knows the vast Serengeti National Park extremely well, which allowed us to explore many areas and see a multitude of creatures. We never dreamed we would see such an abundance and variety of animals!!! From the initial pick-up, everyone we interacted with was gracious and helpful. Simon hosted us during our local tours in Arusha, and he was delightful and full of cultural insights. Our accommodations and food were also terrific! Be prepared for several days full of driving on bumpy and dusty roads, but know that it’s totally worth it. We highly recommend Lion King for a fabulous safari! We could not have imagined a better experience!!!

Our guide Moses made the safari unforgettable with his expertise and knowledge, found lot of animals
5/5

We had an incredible safari experience, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of everyone at both accommodations. Our first stay at Lanchada Camp was comfortable; we stayed in tents with private bathrooms separated by a zipper. Hot water was available, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. During the safari, we were also provided with good packed lunches. lanchada Camp had sufficient accommodation but don't expect any luxury as it's a very basic an experience of sleeping in a tend.

At Buhara Zenoni Hotel in Nakuru, we highly recommend the stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The game drives were well organized, always departing at the agreed time. Our guide (Moses) even made sure to stop at the park's bathrooms, which was very convenient.

We did an afternoon and two full-day game drives in Masai Mara, one afternoon in Naivasha, and one morning in Nakuru. It was the perfect itinerary. Staying more than one day in Masai Mara gave us more opportunities to see a variety of animals. The boat ride and walk on Crescent Island were unforgettable, allowing us to walk alongside wildlife. Nakuru was a bird lover's paradise, and seeing rhinos up close was truly amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience!

Highly recommend FRANSCHHOEK experience for wine lovers!
5/5

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a leisurely day in Franschhoek with tour guide Nabeel Daniels. Nabeel's expertise for the region truly shone through as he guided us through a day filled with wine tasting and a delightful lunch with wine pairings.

Our first stop at Haute Cabrière Winery was a highlight of the day, where we were we learned insights into the winemaking process.

Next, we visited La Bourgogne Wine Farm for lunch, where we enjoyed a memorable dining experience, perfectly pairing each dish with the exquisite wines of the estate.

The day culminated in a wine blending experience at Rickety Bridge, where an expert guided us through the process of creating our own unique blend. It was a hands-on and educational activity that truly enhanced our appreciation for the art of winemaking.

Overall, Nabeel Daniels went above and beyond to ensure that our day in Franschhoek was nothing short of extraordinary. His knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality made the tour a truly unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Nabeel as a tour guide for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Franschhoek and its world-class wineries. Thank you, Nabeel, for a fantastic day!

Our tour operator was an excellent communicator and flexible with the changes we had to make.
5/5

We had an excellent experience with Full Package Adventures. All communications were clear and prompt and they were very accommodating with the changes we had to make. The tour itself was wonderful- our tour guide and driver had excellent English and was very knowledgeable of the animals and the various parks we visited. We felt very safe and well looked after the whole time. I would highly recommend Full Package Adventures!!

Amazing!
5/5

Our family of four (2x adults, 2x teenagers) had a wonderful time in the Kruger and Sabi Sands. A great mix of big picture game drive in the Kruger followed by much more intimate drives in the Sabi. We were lucky enough to see wild dog and lion, plus a leopard kill (extremely rare). The guides were very knowledgable, the accommodation (especially in Sabi Sands) top notch and the transfers from airport all smooth and timely. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice safari, but could have been better.
3/5

We had a nice safari with Professional Safaris in the Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park and saw many animals. Our guide was nice, but certain things could have been handled better. For example, it was only mentioned to us in the last three hours of the drive back to the airport that there was a fridge in the jeep. It would have been nice to know this at the start so we did not have to drink warm water for three days and this could have prevented us from throwing away things from our lunch bag that we no longer trusted after lying in the heat for half a day. Additionally, the driver kept his radio (through which I assume he communicated with other guides) on very loud even when we were less than 5 meters from an animal and the noise of the radio was disturbing our experience of enjoying the animals in their natural habitat. Another example is that the guide made us walk around an outdoor art gallery for 10 minutes so he would get some kind of lottery ticket.
Also, do not be fooled by the last day 'early morning game drive'. When you are going to (certain parts of) the Serengeti, you need to drive back to the airport for 7 hours. While we did see some animals on the first part of the drive, it was not the same as an actual game drive.
