Very friendly, reliable, flexible and well organized - another phantastic experience with SKS
4/5

Communication and service: very, very friendly, endeavoured and patient with all our changing ideas,
always on time, great pick up and many transfer services even in the middle of the night

Living up to expectations and safari tour: great planning, very good and safe driving, beautiful and well chosen accomodations at reasonable rates, wonderful game sightings from leopards to chameleon.

Maurice and Aaron are wonderful safari guides with great respect for all animals and very friendly at all times. They accepted and fulfilled all our individual wishes and made valuable suggestions (where to go or where not to go). They stopped patiently for each bird or even zebra number 255 when we asked for.

All in all we were happy that we booked SpotKenyaSafaris for the second time and we can highly recommend this tour operator.

Wow, so many elephants, this is truly prime elephant country, especially when you look at the horizon and see a herd of over two hundred elephants in the distance! We also saw two leopards, one with a kill in a tree, and our camp (Taragire Safari Lodge) is totally unfenced so lots of gazelles wandering around. However the landscape was a bit dry and not that pretty, and maybe because it was at the end of our safari but we didn't see many "new" animals except for dik dik of which there were quite a few. However it's a great park and probably best visited at the start of a safari, not the end.

we were very lucky, the weather was good. The way to the gorillas was exhausting (especially for my wife) but we reach the gorillas after one and a half hour. We were lucky to see the whole family (silverback with babies) in a meadow, so we had enough light for photos (if you like I can send you more photos) . After an hour we go back in an very happy mood.

Camping safari in the northern circuit
4/5

We've been in safari visiting Ngorongoro,Serengeti, and Tarangire national park.
Although the period was a little bit rainy, we had a wonderful safari experience, lots of animals spotted and a very experienced and polite guide.
Regional Tours organized everything and took care of us in a very professional way.

Exciting but not very challenging

There was a lot of build up to my visit which made me expect if would be very difficult for me to do. Because of this I was very excited and looking forward to a challenging maybe dangerous experience. In truth my experience involved walking along the road into the bush about 50 metres and there were these tame looking gorillas. We were back at the resort within the hour. Others in our travel group trekked for 3-5hours and had a very exciting experience. I felt duped and very ripped off by the Ugandans who managed the gorilla trekking.
We had paid the obligatory $500 to help with the preservation of the gorillas habitat plus paid for local guides who would help carry our lunch pack and required water bottles, 1litre each, or our cameras over difficult terrain, and we had waited for people to go and get heavy duty footwear on, listened to all the instructions about how to manage the trek and so the anticipation was great. The guides carried guns which all suited the drama I expected. All for a 10min walk 30min photo session and 10mins back. Very disappointed....but we did see the gorillas and got great photos.
