It's busy and noisy but close to Chobe. Boats can be hired here.

Lots of affordable accommodation along the river, great birding especially in Setember to November during the barbell run. Can ony be appreciated by boating on the river itself.

Mostly only accessible by boat or aircraft. One of the jewels of the world. Nobody should miss this great place if they are in southern Africa.

Review about Makgadikgadi Pans National Park by Terry Carew

In the salt pans it is mostly desert and attracts a different type of animal though not in great numbers or variety. More valuable as an eco experience, though the zebra migration is worth seeing. Nice to spend a few nights hare and then move on.

Botswana is a birding paradise, you can visit the bushmen of the kalahari desert, it is an incredibly beautiful country and the wildlife is gorgeous. If you love hippos, Botswana is the place to be.

The game reserves are not developed and there are no tar roads in the parks. The camps are unfenced and lions, baboons, hyenas, ratels and others visit at night. Ablutions are not five star. There are always places you can find to park and chill all on your own. Finding a spot on the river and watching the sun set over the Chobe river while enjoying a beverage cannot be beaten.

My family had a blast in this tour.
5/5

They have good communication skills, the services were prompt. Since this was my first tour with a tour company, I was afraid that I would disappoint my kids after a long wait for this vacation which they were so looking forward to. Can i say my family can't wait to go back to Kenya and have another tour. I would definitely use this tour company again and again when we get the opportunity to travel again too Kenya.
