Excellent service
4/5

ATI provided an excellent service, always more than happy to help with any request that we had, and they ensured that we had a wonderful holiday. Communication was excellent, and all accommodation booked was perfect. The only thing that we would have changed is revising some of the driving times on the Botswana safari element as the road quality meant very long days, and arriving late in camp.

An exciting and educational tour with a highly experienced guide.

Wildlife Safaris was very good value with ample opportunities to spot the wildlife while enjoying comfortable accommodation and hearty meals right inside Kruger National Park. Nick our guide was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable.

Ok now, Im rating this as a three ONLY because I am absolutely terrified of spiders now because of my trip there :D. The animals hadn't migrated the way they usually do during the dry season so our mokoro boats had to cut through the reeds. What they didnt tell was that there are thousands (probably millions) of orb weaver spiders that build their webs at eye level (when you are sitting in the boat) in the reeds so we spent 3 hours there and 3 hours back ducking, weaving, and basically freaking out trying to avoid them. I know they aren't poisonous but who wants a spider in their face! Despite that our polers were wonderful and they even fished out my notebook when I threw it into the water after getting a web stuck on it. It was definitely the most "bushy" part of our trip.

We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay and we didn't feel particularly crowded by hordes of other people.

This national park is nice because of the special plants, like Pachypodium namaquanum (halfmens)

We had a wonderful weekend trip from Malawi to South Luangwa. Our camp was set up on the banks of the South Luangwa river, where we could watch the hippos and crocodiles. The hospitality and our guides were excellent, and South Luangwa park is enormous so there was much to see. We were so fortunate to see many lions, including a mother and five adorable and active cubs who just played all around our vehicle! I will never forget waking up in the middle of the night to the sound "chomping" from outside my window, and peering out to see a gigantic hippo eating grass right in front of my window! There were several other hippos walking around the grounds as well, the natural lawn-mowers of South Luangwa! Later, still in the early morning, as they called us for breakfast while it was still dark, we could hear rustling trees and one of the staff trying to chase the elephants off the grounds who were blocking the walking path! All in all an unforgetable experience!
