Fantastic experiences and excellent staff!
I've travelled twice with Jackpot - both times to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Each time the communication has been great in the lead up with Andrew going out of his way to make sure all the options were offered and our trip was designed how we wanted. We had two stellar guides in George and Albert who couldn't have been better! Our chefs (Jackson and John) kept us full to bursting with their lovely food. The experience of being in the Serengeti was amazing and, on both trips, we saw the big five - including the remarkably rare black rhino. Thank you, Jackpot, for two amazing trips!

Unbelievable experience and very accomadating
Booking was easy and once I was there I changed iteniary without hassle. The tour was unbelievable and went to plan plus extra thanks to Joseph Kalanzi who went above the call of tour guide duties to ensure trip was unforgettable. The places we stayed were amazing but very affordable as was the tour. Gorillas, rhinos, the guide and a couple of crazy chameleon made this a trip of a lifetime and can't wait to get back :)

Wonderful trip to Southern Africa
We joined our adventure from Cape Town to Victoria Falls then to Chobe River on a house boat and finished with Safari camp in Botswana. All accomodation was outstanding, meals were fantastic. All transfers were seamless . We saw lions, elephants, hippos, leapord, zebra, giraffes, hyenas and many different types of antelopes. We would highly recommended African Ubuntu Safaris . Cuan and Gerald we're outstanding to deal with.

Beautiful place, lovely people, not quite the game experience of East Africa
We loved our trip to Madikwe. Having been to Kenya and Tanzania, South Africa felt "tamer." We saw tons of wildlife, but not to the amazing levels seen in East Africa. I think that South Africa is a great choice for safari beginners, those who don't want to do malaria precautions. The wildlife is certainly in Madikwe, but it takes more patience.

Stunning location of breath-taking diversity of wildlife, flora and fauna
Ngorongoro Crater is enormous, being about 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area. Nothing really prepares you for the breath-taking spectacle of the world's largest un-flooded and unbroken volcano crater but reading about it beforehand will help you appreciate it even more. Some degree of luck is required to see all, or any, of The Big Five but this is the best place in Tanzania to try. Guides are knowledgeable, accommodating and work hard to ensure every party gets the very most out of the trip. This isn't a particularly remote location, however, and the crater floor can be busy with other vehicles so don't expect to be alone for the entire visit. Remember to take binoculars and a spare battery for your camera, you will need it!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The bookings and communications were excellent.
Ndumo is a beautiful old style game reserve. The accommodation is comfortable though a little run down. Th guides are incredibly knowlegable about the birds and trees.
The safari tents at Mkuze were stunning and we were surprised that they weren't full over Easter. With a little innovative marketing and some minimal upgrades, much more could be made of this camp.

Wonderful guide and beautiful sites
Twaha was an extremely pleasant, professional and courteous guide. We felt completely welcome and in good hands the entire trip. He knew every animal and plant I asked him about and was able to point out things I didn't catch despite looking with great effort!
