Brian crafted the perfect trip for us!
We visited Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe for 3 days. Communication was very good throughout the planning/pre-trip time, and during the trip, as well. Brian kept in touch with us through WhatsApp while we were in Victoria Falls.
We enjoyed the lodge where we stayed very much, and all the activities were well chosen. The food was very good at the lodge, and on the Zambezi river cruise. Brian arranged for us to be picked up in Zambia, when we were unable to get a flight scheduled into Zimbabwe on the morning we wanted. Transitions were seamless. Brian met our driver at the border, and drove us to our lodge in Vic Falls. He arranged for a driver to take us to the river cruise, but he came to the lodge to see us off, and set the pickup time for the next morning. We were very pleased with our tour guide at the falls, and our helicopter tour. We found a restaurant that we wanted to try for lunch, and Brian arranged for the helicopter shuttle to drop us there after our flight. He picked us up later.
We definitely got our money's worth on this tour. It was very well organized, and we were so well taken care of. It is a leap of faith to send money overseas to an unknown company, but Brian's great communication made it easier. Everything was seamless from the moment we arrived at the airport, till Brian dropped us off for our flight home! Highly recommend!

Wild Jungle Safaris - Amazing Adventure
What an amazing adventure! We knew we wanted to travel to Uganda for gorilla trekking, so we started the great search for a tour company in the spring of 2023. We knew permits were limited and we needed to book at least a year in advance. We looked at some of the typical tours (Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibale (chimp trekking) and Bwindi (gorilla trekking). We decided we wanted a more personalized tour for ourselves. We found Wild Jungle on Safari Bookings after contacting a few different highly rated vendors. We immediately connected with Tina and worked with her to customize the trip the way we wanted. She was very patient, listened to our requests, and made sure she gave us the best options possible.
We provided a deposit, and our tour was booked. Along the way, Tina accepted a position with another company, and our booking was reassigned to Twaha, the owner. Of course we were concerned when Tina departed, but Twaha stepped right in and reassured any concerns we had.
Twaha has several guides he uses for tours. We were originally assigned to one of them, but his group extended their stay, and Twaha became our guide himself. Twaha has been doing this for many years, and he has the knowledge and connections to ensure a memorable trip. Everywhere we went, he made sure we arrived early and had the best guides. He meshed quite well with our “type A” personality. For future travelers reading this, let me assure you that Twaha is genuine and I don’t hesitate to recommend him.

Wilson is an upbeat guide who’s knowledge about Tanzania and his interest in showing us its wondrous beauty seemed inexhaustible. He easily fits with people who are new to him – – he is a friend from the minute you make his acquaintance. In addition, safety is his number one priority which I appreciated it as I had my children with me. Furthermore, it’s notable that some guides may try to provide the minimal experience, but Wilson goes out of his way to make sure you get the maximal experience – – his patience for waiting on the wildlife is a true asset to providing the best possible experience for his clients. Fantastic Itinerary!
Clyde, an experienced guide on the ground in Africa before co-founding Tailormade Africa, put together a really interesting itinerary for our family. As an experienced traveller in Africa I had some preconceived ideas where I wanted to take the family for their first safari. Clyde understood the brief superbly and we started with a Zoom call to clarify our needs before he sent over a few options just a few days later. I felt engaged and consulted throughout the whole process. He nailed our budget and logistical needs perfectly. We ended up going to Jabali Private House in Ruaha National Park in Tanzania before some R&R in Zanzibar on the way home. Everything worked a charm with Amy backing Clyde up with some excellent Operations Management skills leading up to the actual trip. During my trip I had constant communication with Clyde - that made me feel secure and comfortable that help was just around the corner should I need it. Which I didn't as everything went smoothly.
Overall, an excellent experience and I do not hesitate recommending Tailormade Africa to anyone and I will certainly be using their services again for our next safari.

Unforgettable vacation with Nyumbu beyond 2024

Amazing Ruaha Park
My husband and I did the 3days tour with Widman and everything was perfect!The tour guide was really prepared and a great driver as well. We saw lots of animals, the accomodation was simple but cosy (located into the park) and the food was amazing, prepared by local guys. You must definitely choose Widman and his organization!

A peak life experience!
A wonderful experience. The booking process had a couple of complications but once we arrived the whole trip was magical.
The accommodation throughout was fantastic. The game drives and balloon ride were unbelievable experiences.
Our guide Philimon was a wonderful character. Entirely dedicated to making the game drive the best possible experience. He was knowledgeable, charismatic and entirely professional throughout. Thank you Philimon for making our safari so unforgettable.

Absolutely fantastic
Anna and her children went above and beyond to welcome us and did everything right to help us organize the perfect safari trip.
We had some awesome local meals at her Inn, had a great guide for safari who is patient and responsible, and with some luck we saw a lot of animals including a glimpse of the migration.
Anna worked so hard to make sure everything goes smoothly for us - she checked in with us to make sure our asks are fulfilled. When we had down time, she also added a new activity for us in town so we get some additional cultural exposure outside of the pre-set itinerary. All these efforts she did it out of her genuine hospitality and kindness.
Highly recommend booking with Anna. This has been an unforgettable experience for us :)

Trek Afrika made our vacation fantastic!
I was searching for safari operator on this site, send few requests to different operators. I got a very fast response from Trek Afrika. Victor sent the proposal and we started to discuss our first trip to Kenya, turned out Victor can organise not only safari but our whole 11 days vacation, including stays in Diani beach, Mombasa in addition to 5 days safari. The final proposal was really tailored for all the requests that we had (the only problem I had was to chose from so many options of hotels and lodges sent by Victor 😂). At the end we were taken care by Victor and his team from the moment we landed in Mombasa until we departed, we did not need to care about any single detail, all days were planned. Victor offered a lot of options of different activities, so we had romantic sunset canoe cruise on Kongo river (surrounded by mangrove trees and many different birds), excursion to Wasini island and searching for dolphins (we were very lucky to see them). In one the days my husband had the birthday and Victor recommended and booked the incredible restaurant in a cave (Ali Barbour’s caves), really must visit while staying in Diani. Next days we on safari, changing locations every day and staying in the most incredible lodges (Salt Lick, Kipalo hills, Elerai and Ol Tukai). Our driver Willy was vey professional and experienced, so we could really see many many animals! The emotions of meeting the wild life and animals are hardly described in words… Last days we stayed in Mombasa, we were taken on a city tour by Stan, who answered all the questions we had about Kenya.
I would highly recommend Trek Afrika, if you are looking for reliable, safe and very attentive service in Kenya, Victor and his team made our trip as exciting and memorable as possible and we already have ideas for next trip to this beautiful country!
PS. We were presented with proper safari hats by Victor which was very useful ☺️
