Amazing Kenyan Safari Experience with Ramja Safari
I just returned from an unforgettable 8-day adventure in Kenya, and I can't recommend Ramja Safari enough! From the moment we landed in Nairobi to the final day of our journey, everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our needs.
Our trip took us from Nairobi to the breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve, where we spent two incredible days. We then visited the stunning Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha before heading to Amboseli National Park for another two days, concluding our journey with a flight back from Nairobi.
A special shoutout to Steve, the owner of Ramja Safari. Steve was not just professional but also highly communicative, always quick to respond to my questions and needs. Unlike other companies I contacted, which used automated systems for initial responses, Steve personally handled my request. It was clear from the start that we were in good hands. On the first day, he even came to our hotel at 7:15 AM to greet us warmly, making us feel truly welcomed.
Our driver, Patrick, was equally impressive. He was easy-going, reliable, knowledgeable, and always put our safety first. One detail that stood out to me was how Patrick checked our door locks every time we got into the car—just one example of the care he took throughout our journey. Beyond being an excellent safari guide, Patrick enriched our experience with fascinating insights into Kenya’s culture, agriculture, the Masai people's way of life, British colonial history, and current political issues.
Thanks to Patrick’s expertise, we saw all the “Big Five”—lions (both male and female), leopards (adults and cubs), buffalos, elephants, and rhinos. We also had the unique experience of witnessing the “Ugly Five” and even saw hyenas eating a buffalo alive, only to return the next day to find just a skeleton remaining. It was both awe-inspiring and humbling.
This wasn’t just a safari; it was a deep dive into a different culture and an experience I’ll cherish forever. If you’re considering a trip to Kenya, I highly recommend Ramja Safari. Steve and Patrick made our journey exceptional!

Excellent safari company
We booked the safari on recommendations and we were not disappointed. The visits to the National Parks, our guide, Max, the lodges and Bush camps were all excellent. We saw so many birds and animals all thanks to Max, everyone of the large animals and so many birds, some very rare.
The bushcamps were so nice, peaceful with excellent service, food and the staff were so helpful.
It was a holiday of a lifetime, and all thanks to Full Package

professional, well organized, kind
I didn't have a lot of time for a trip, so I worked with Makario to create a customized itinerary to see the chimpanzees, gorillas, and golden monkeys. Alice was excellent and very diligent at preparing an itinerary that met my criterion. Levis, my driver, was always on-time, professional, and had impeccable driving skills. Everything went off without a hitch; the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Can't wait to come back some day and see how much conservation progress will have been made!

Amazing experience
From the first moment I contacted Gadiel, he helped me to organize the best experience for me and my family. We did seven days safari including tribal experience with Hadzabe people in lake Eyasi. He answered all our questions and made all the changes that we asked for.
Both Dickson (guide) and Koga (cook) were very friendly and professional.
We chose camping option and we enjoy a lot sleeping in the middle of Serengeti.
I know it has been a experience that my daughters will never forget.

Friendly and helful.
The tour that we booked was realized as agreed. We have managed to see "The Big 5" and many other animlas, thank to a very resourceful and dedicated guide Mike. Special thanks to our cook Richard, he was very friendly, charismatic and did an amazing job. Overall a very good experience.
Little sidenote about the "tipping culture", we felt indirect pressure from the tour operator to give some minimun fixed amout of tipp money per day, per person, per tour guide and cook. This makes the whole experience a bit uncomfortable, we would advise that the tipps be included in the overall price and then leave the tipping to the tour crew to be optional.

Amazing customer service
Gorilla and golden monkey trek

I went on a gorilla and golden monkey trek with Golden Rwanda Safaris, both amazing and truly unique experiences with the animals. We were within a few feet of the gorilla family. The 2-3 yr old juvenile gorillas were tussling and climbing trees and vines almost the whole time. The golden monkeys were just beautiful and such fun to watch scampering in forest trees and also on adjacent farmland, digging up and eating potatoes. Frank, the tour operator, was amazing, going above and beyond any company I have ever dealt with.
He had told me that his primary goal is customer service, and he demonstrates this approach beyond any expectations I had. Through many emails and also phone conversations with Frank, he clarified any questions I had regarding the trip and was always there when needed. His professionalism and flexibility were outstanding. He was truly magnanimous on the last day when he personally took me to the airport at 9 AM when it was discovered at the last minute that my flight was re-scheduled for 12 hrs later. He took me back to his office in Kigali and personally saw to it that one of his guides met up with me to tour the city and see more sights we missed the first day before returning me to the airport in the evening. Both my original guide and guide that last day were pleasant, reliable and knowledgeable about Rwanda and the wildlife.
I would highly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris to anyone. Frank is a true treasure
