Trip of a life time
We had the best time on safari - hands down one of the best trips and experiences we’ve had. The pick up/transfer with the external company and then wild wings into the park was super smooth, as was the trip back to J’burg for us on the transfer bus for our evening flight.
The safari itself was exceptional - we felt 4 days was perfect for us - we were really fortunate to see the whole magnificent 7, and the way the guides communicate with each other to help ensure that all clients get a great experience in the park was fantastic. We were the only people on our safari and the experience of having our guide Rufus to ourself and timings / locations then being entirely flexible was excellent - we were surprised at how little free time we had by the time we’d been out on a drive, detoured to various sightings and then popped back for a brief lunch, before back out again and home for dinner.
Accommodation was simple (as described) but perfectly clean and serviceable for what we needed. Rufus cooked for us each evening, and this was also great - plenty of tasty and varied food. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Rufus and sitting to eat with him; the opportunity to eat as a group with others on safari or have the option to go to the camp restaurant for dinner would have been an added bonus but this isn’t to say the food and experience we had wasn’t great! Both of us were astonished how nice ostrich was and the meals Rufus did were delicious, with us still then having a few hours in the evening before sleeping ready for the next day.
A really fabulous trip with great communication and smooth pick up/organising. We would (and already have!) recommended to friends/family as a fantastic tour provider.

Unforgettable Safari
What a wonderful safari experience! The guide was great and being able to see the animals up close was an experience I'll never forget. If you have an opportunity please check them out.

The perfect adventure, from start to finish
From the initial research of our trip, it quickly became clear that Morning Star were the team we wanted to partner with. Communication was so quick and thorough, and Dennis was extremely flexible in accommodating changes and providing guidance throughout the whole process. For a trip like this, value for money was more important to us than finding the cheapest price. We felt that professionalism and expertise were the best possible investments, and I’m very pleased to say we got it right!
Our 8-day Kenya & Tanzania safari was seamlessly executed, between pick-ups, drop-offs, check-ins and day trips, it never once felt hectic. The team always had everything well in hand, but still allowed us flexibility to determine the intensity of each day, what we wanted to experience and what our energy levels were capable of.
Erick was our guide throughout our visit to the Masai Mara, and he filled our days with stunning animal sightings and lots of laughter. The hot air ballooning was truly a breathtaking experience.
Jackson guided us on the Tanzania leg of our trip, and he went to incredible lengths to ensure we got maximum exposure to all the animals we wanted to see. We spent our evenings listening to his stories and getting to know the wonderful person he is. It made an already incredible trip even more special to us.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Morning Star to anyone looking for both a seamless and extremely memorable Safari experience.

Very warm, friendly and genuine!!
The local guide I found on safariigo was unexpectedly a local Maasai guide. Compared with other local guides, we had an extra Maasai guide throughout the trip. The local guide, guide and driver were all very nice. They really took good care of us during the safari and livened up the atmosphere. We also learned a lot about the interesting Maasai culture because of the guide. Before sending us to the airport, the local guide invited us to his office for lunch and gave each of us a hand-woven friendship bracelet with our own name and the flags of China and Tanzania. It was really thoughtful. 🥺 Because I really like the Tanzanian soup made by the chef when climbing Kilimanjaro, they also said they could teach me, but unfortunately my flight time is tight, I will definitely do it next time! !

Flexible, Helpful & value for money
Full Package Adventures arranged & very efficiently coordinated our 3 persons x 3 nights value for money safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater & Tarangire National Park.
Juventus was very patient and flexible through several changes to our initial bookings, as well as last minute arrival transfer changes. He arranged for an additional transfer to the airport, in lieu of the cancelled arrival one
He arranged a wonderful, experienced and very knowledgeable driver/tour guide, Julius, for our safari, as well as excellent drivers for our transfers and a surprise free tour of Arusha after our safari.
He also arranged to meet with us after our safari, to check everything went well. Everything went very well, so highly recommended!

Kisaza Tours has been trustworthy with kind staff and guides and excellent overall service
We chose Kisaza Tours because of the fair pricing and weren’t sure what to expect. From the start, the communication with Steven was very reassuring for he was very accommodating and flexible concerning our particular needs. They have shown to be reliable from beginning to the end and every single one of the staff (guides, porters, cook, etc…) on our mount Meru tour was competent and very courteous. Thus we are really happy that we chose Kisaza Tours as the value for money was just excellent.

An amazing experience!
It’s difficult to describe just how exceptional this part of our honeymoon was, but I’ll start with the basics:
Food - good and plentiful
Staff - attentive, polite, friendly with a particular mention for Samuel, Dennis, Isiah and Julian but everyone was really lovely.
Accommodation - clean and unique and also very comfortable (though slip mats in the showers would be a good idea)
Activities/Safari - knowledgable tour guides. Beautiful surroundings saw so many amazing sights but a leopard in a tree eating an impala has to be a highlight.
Would highly recommend this company and the resort at Selous, a trip of a lifetime and not to be missed.

Amazing
Our trip was simply fantastic, and we would highly recommend Nomad!
Tailor made planning - Since our first contact Lizzie would make sure we receive proposals which were tailor made to our needs / wishes (both locations and budget wise) to ensure a great experience for our family. Also, the team was super supportive and patient while we decided on the route and lodges and changed a few time.
Plan was well thought through for a family with 2 teenager and I can say we could clearly benefit form an agent being on site in Kenia.
We absolutely loved the places and the warmth of the people we met in our lodges (far away from busy camps - felt like home), always had the feeling we were not a number - we encountered mainly no other jeeps during our safari and the busy lodges even during high season and could enjoy plenty of wildlife. Also, guides were very knowledgeable.
Plan and logistics, incl. all internal flights were well thought through (make sense to see Laikipia first and Mara thereafter and also the safari series to Enkewa camp).
We also really appreciated the proactive response whenever there was a question from our side during our staying in Kenya, and the whatsapp chat works great and all was well taken care of.
So I will definitely recommend Nomad to friends and will do via safari booking, it was always very pleasant discussing the plan with you, flexibility in submitting different proposal and transparency and great execution!
thank you, Lizzie, Ann and Nomad team!

Lack of attention to detail
I chose Jastro Safaris based on the fact that it had lots of great reviews. Victor reached out to me after I put in a quotation request and we had a detailed discussion on possible options for our safari. There were initial mistakes in his quotations that I pointed out and he fixed. I suggested places I would like to visit and expected practical advice given that I was travelling for the first time and the tour operator is meant to be the expert advising on what is best. First of all, I asked about travel time between places and was given inaccurate information. For example, I was advised that the travel time between Ol Pejeta to Masai Mara was 6 hours, when it fact it took us nearly 10 hours to make the journey. Next I was promised a stop over at Lake Nakuru which the driver did not do because he said there wasn't enough time. It seemed the driver and tour operator were not communicating. Overall, I would advise all people to ask Victor to spell out what is included in the quotation and what is not. We learned this the hard way. At least 3 game drives that were "included" in my package were not delivered because Victor did not check these details on his end. I was told I could not have a night game drive in Ol Pejeta because we were not staying in the conservancy - according to my original quotation, the night game drive was included. Then I was told I had to pay extra fees at Masai Mara National Park if I wanted to do a morning game drive - which according to my understanding was included in the initial quotation that was shared with me. Each time I raised a deviation from the original quotation, I was told by Victor he would check and get back to me assuring me that he would make sure I got my game drives added on at the end of my tour. However, the follow ups and corrections didn't happen. The follow up for the pending payment at the end of the tour on the other hand was very persistent with no acknowledgment of the need for rectification.
