Great personalized experience to see the gorillas
My mom and I booked a 4-day Gorilla/Golden Monkeys/Dian Fossey tour in March 2016. Our booking was completed over email with Herbert who was very responsive to initial inquiries and sent us a very detailed itinerary. He also customized our tour based on our flight schedules.
Our driver Didier was very friendly and helpful. He managed to get some extra gear for us that we did not have, and offered to take us to other tourist destinations in the afternoons on the days with shorter hikes in the morning. He also managed to get us an easier hike to see the gorillas because we had a tough hike up Bisoke the day before.
We also enjoyed our stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge. The beds were very comfortable and food and service was excellent (by Rwandan standards).
Our only complaint is that the difficulty level of Dian Fossey/Mt Bisoke hike was a bit misleading. In the itinerary, it is described as 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on fitness level. In reality, it is more like 90 minutes to 5 hours (one way), and the slopes are steep and get very slippery even after a drizzle (expect to fall).

Perfect time in Tanzania with David!
We went, for our honey moon, 6 days on Safari with David from 25 to 31 of december, before going to Zanzibar.
Everything was perfect, David is a really nice guide, he explains all what you want and we never stop asking him questions about animals and culture. We warmly recommend Kilele Safari, and David, if you want to avoid big big company as les voyageurs du monde or others...

A superb trip to Masai Mara with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures
Two of us just finished a spectacular 4 day, 3 night trip to Masai Mara in late March, 2016 arranged by Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. We are experienced travelers in Africa, with long trips off the beaten track. Though we knew Masai Mara doesn't fit that description, from start to finish Kikwetu Cultural Adventures was a great choice for all the ingredients that can make or break a game viewing trip: service, lodgings, local knowledge, driver, cook, and itinerary. And the price was great!
Right from the beginning Kenneth Kikwetu provided super service. His focus is on Kenya only so he knows the lay of the land. He responded to every question and email promptly and understood our budget limitations and the kind of trip we wanted, making suggestions, all of which were excellent choices. He arranged pick up and drop off at Nairobi airport for a very late night arrival. He made several suggestions for Nairobi hotels in our price range. (In fact we didn't stay at any of them because we used some hotel points left over from my old job to stay free.)
We wanted to stay at a small scale camp, and thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable tents and atmosphere at Mwangaza Mara. Our ‘tent’ had two single beds and a double (perfect for laying out the contents of our backpacks) and an ensuite bathroom. The shower even had hot water. There is only a handful of tents, so Mwangaza is quiet and non touristy, perfect for us. The delightful Jacinta will provide any service you need, and make you laugh.
Our driver, Peter, was spectacular. After the long drive from Nairobi the first day he took us on a late afternoon game drive that was a perfect introduction to the Masai Mara. The next two days were all day drives, 10 or 11 hours each, with a picnic lunch prepared by Jacob, our cook. Peter’s knowledge of the Mara, its maze of tracks, and animals is encyclopedic.
Jacob, our cook, prepared tasty meals. Both he and Peter were knowledgeable, friendly and interesting travel companions.
The last day there was time in the morning to visit the local Masai village for an introduction to Masai culture.
There are hundreds of companies offering trips to the Masai Mara. I doubt there are many who can top Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. If we are lucky enough to return to Kenya we’ll do it with Kenneth ’s Kikwetu Cultural Adventures.
If you have any questions, private message me. We’re on the road for several weeks in Ethiopia and parts nearby and out of contact for much of that time, but I'll get back to you eventually.

Great Safari in Masai mara, Amposeli and Lake Nakuru
We spent a wonderful Christmas in Kenya with a 6 days, 5 nights safari with Seven By Far Travel. The guide was very attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable and knew exactly where to search for the animals. We were lucky to see all the Big 5 in addition to many other animals in the beautiful surroundings of Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.
We would highly recommend Seven By Far Travel!

A Truly Memorable Safari
The overall tour and stay at Kapama River Lodge was excellent and all plans went off without any problem. Transfers, accommodations and 1 day tour in Johannesburg prior to safari were all planned well. Kapama River Lodge was a very good facility and we were able to see so much on the game drives. Highly recommended....

An awesome safari to Kruger and Sabi Sands
Just got back after an amazing 3 night stay at Tydon Safari's luxury tented camp, where we did 2 game drives to Kruger and 3 to Sabi Sands. The accommodation, staff and the quality of the game drives (in terms of what we saw and knowledge of the guides) was first class. The food was also very good.
The only slight criticism I have is regarding the arrangements for the pick up from my hotel in Sandton (Jo'burg), since I had to chase the agent for these. Indeed, once I had paid my final instalment, there was very little contact from the agent regarding travel arrangements etc.

Thrilling Odyssey
Hwange National Park offered wonderful opportunities to view and photograph amazing wildlife. We found eight large mammal, three of the Big Five, in just our first morning game drive. As an avian photographer on my first trip to Zimbabwe I was thrilled at the species I saw and recorded, which included Bateleur, African Fish, Wahlberg's, and Tawny Eagles. We found several species of Hornbill, and of course numerous Lilac-breasted Rollers and Southern Carmine Bee Eaters. We saw elephants, hippos, zebras, antelope, lions, and a cheetah.
Our stay at The Hide was comfortably luxurious, with excellent food and service and great views of visiting wildlife to the watering holes. The game drives were thrilling each morning and afternoon, and I was delighted with the knowledge and expertise of our safari guide, Daffy. We're planning of a return visit in the very near future.

Trip Of A Lifetime
Kathi organized the trip of a lifetime for our group. We loved the game drives and accommodations at Tintswalo Lodge and our wine tours around Cape Town. The trip was absolutely perfect!
