We had an excellent experience with Discover Africa!!! Matthys was our agent, and he is very knowledgeable and thoughtful, and spent a lot of time planning with us, both through zoom and email, to make sure our custom itinerary was spot-on. The trip was incredible! Exactly what we dreamed of for a first-time Africa experience. We visited Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, the Okavango Delta, and Cape Town. All of the accommodations and guides were wonderful and all of the travel arrangements were smooth. We highly recommend Matthys and Discover Africa!

Safari has overcome my expectations
Tour was well organised. We were able to visit tanghire park, serengeti and ngorongoro and we were lucky to see all the animals and many chitas and lions.
The only thing I can say is that it would have been better if all the people in the jeep would have sleep in a same location instead of 2 differents ones.
The guide Sereva was professional and he explained us many things about animals and their behavior.
Francklyn was my contact for the tour operator. He was alwyas available and professional.

Good operator, Terrific guide!
This was my third safari, the first just me and my 12 ys old son for 12 days
I should divide my review, one for for the support on booking/ organisation of the trip and another one the trip itself.
On the one hand, dealing with Apodiformes was always very easy; since the beginning, they has tried to find the best combination to adapt my request to my budget.
During the trip there were some issues regarding booking and organisation, but Apodiformes has been able to fix always them.
On the other hand, the safari guide Francis was a nightmare and made the whole trip quite painful!
Examples?
- the land rover was almost missing shoking absorber .. and this is crucial when you spend 10 hours per day on streets full of bumps and holes; the door opened during the trip
- the guide was very Often on the phone texting with who-knows instead of been focused on the drive
- often the tend of the land cruise didnt' close completely ... and at 6 am it's very cold
- lack understanding of the trip schedule ... it was me to tell where we had to sleep every day
- he skipped almost 1/3 of the game drives ... everytime with a different excuse
In each game, he was always far from the animal (we have always been on the back of all the other land cruise), no single explenation about parks, animals, ...never asked if we were taking good pictures/spots and if he could leave or if he had to stop.
One day he asked me to pay 200 US a ranger because of some problems with park tickets .. of course I called apodiformes and they fixed it
in few words ... 1 star is even too much.
To sum up, read the review about the best guide and ask to have some of them.

Our trip to Kenya was a dream came true. Willy is the best guide you can have. We were able to see the big six and much more. Willy always got the best place to see the animals so close that you could touch them. He is a very experienced guide. Looking forward to come back soon.

Helpful, cunning and providing top notch service!
Me and my partner booked a two week trip to South Africa which included safari at two different lodges and a few relaxing days in Cape Town and Hermanus in the end. Everything went so smoothly and our contact Karina at Safari Online was simply the best! From the beginning we got several different suggestions, tailored to our needs and requirements. From the planning of this trip to the completion everything have just worked as it should, we didn't have to think about anything at all really.
The transfers from airport to lodges, between lodges and between boutique hotels were all booked and handled for us, even the domestic flight and check-in was handled! All in all, it was a wonderful experience and such a joy! The lodges and boutique hotels we stayed in were simply fantastic and the tour guide she booked in Cape Town (The fynbos guy) was such a knowledgeable, funny person that really gave us so much insight in both fynbos, animals and general cultural aspects of South Africa and the diversity of the country.

Private camping safari
Along with six other guys and our driver/guide, Bryson, I went on a four-day safari. The days were very amazing. Our guide was really kind and calm, and we saw a lot of gorgeous creatures. He allowed us everyone enough time to savor the occasion and capture the ideal safari photo with any animal. And he was a wealth of knowledge regarding the parks and their inhabitants. Delicious food is prepared by our chef, Matsuhisa, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our sleeping quarters were spotless and elegantly designed campsuits. It was my first safari, and I want to go on another one with Bryson this time!

Great experience
We had a 7 days safari in Tanzania in Aug 24. From the very beginning I really enjoyed Monkey Adventures: the booking process was easy and clear and we received several options to choose from. We received all the information we needed (emails and guidelines were completed and crystal clear).
The day we arrived in Tanzania we had a 30min briefing to be prepared for the safari. Accommodations were all very good; I must say that they all overcome my expectations as we opted for what we thought were budget solutions but they resulted to be very nice, very clean and comfortable. Tasty meals (side note: I'm allergic to diary and I had never troubles to get proper meals). The guide we had was very experienced and we saw a lot of animals. We really enjoyed the experience. Really pleasant also the trip to Materuni Falls and coffee plantation on the last day.
Great value for money.
We definetly will be contacting Monkey_adventures_africa again if we have the opportunity to travel in the countries they operate.

Excellent tour operator, with very nice staff
We did Tanzania's Northern circuit with Serengeti Smile and it was all perfect from booking the trip directly with them, the communication before, during and after and the week onsite.
Albert was always available to answer any question, and Pius is an amazing driver, knowedgeable and very friendly.
We saw all animals one could want to see, slept in amazing tents and had great food.

Absolutely phenomenal experience!
Wow! It's been over two months since the end of our safari and I still haven't stopped thinking about it. It was perfect every step of the way. We took the 7 day economical tour and we got more than our money's worth. James met us at the start of the tour and was super friendly. Robin was our guide for the trip and I couldn't say enough good things about him! He was kind, fun, and had an absolutely insane eye for spotting animals! We not only saw the big five, but the big nine, and more! The accommodations were great too, not super posh, but more than acceptable and comfortable, with good food, and such great people. I would recommend them to anyone and when I go back, they're the first people I'll be looking up!
