Amazing sights and sounds on safari
5/5

My wife and I and two friends went on a 4 day safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with driver/guide Peter and chef Muina and had an incredible time.
Peter was friendly and informative, and the views and animals were amazing. My photos look great.
The food was really good too, loved the cream of zucchini soup!
We had a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience.
Thanks Warrior Expeditions!

Easy and competent safari preparation, friendly staff
5/5

Our safari with Instinct Safaris was really excellent, this is why we give 5 stars. From the first day, they answered our questions truthfully and competently. My wife and I are from Zurich in Switzerland and were looking for a safari adventure with the mountain gorillas in Uganda. Even though we contacted multiple companies in the country, Instinct Safaris was our best fit, for sure.

Luxurious Safari
5/5

Thorn Bush Safaris was helpful from the get-go when I expressed interest in our travel plans to Madikwe. Michelle was very helpful in presenting a couple options to us, and ultimately went with Buffalo Ridge. Throughout the process, Michelle was interactive, attentive and informative. She answered all my questions, provided important information in a timely manner, was kind, and was able to hold my reservation as I had to check with the rest of my party before finalizing. The entire experience was above my expectations and I would recommend Thorn Bush and Michelle, to anyone wanting to experience an incredible, luxurious safari vacation. Thank you!

For the trip of a lifetime, book with Claudious Tours & Safaris!
5/5

After just returning from my Kenyan safari, I just had to write and thank you again for the trip of a lifetime. I have wanted to go on a safari since I was very young. When I became disabled with Rheumatoid Arthritis, many of my dreams disappeared. However, when I found Claudious Tours on the internet, things changed for me. Your company went above and beyond all of my expectations in arranging my trip. The accommodations were beautiful and very accessible to me. The people were wonderful and so willing to give me the extra help I needed. Best of all was the incredible guide, Phanwell Obama, who you hired for us. He is just amazing. He built me a small step to get in and out of the van, helped us with gear and is most pleasant. His knowledge of animals and their habits is astounding but most of all his understanding of photographic angles and lighting made my trip fabulously successful.
Thank you for caring about those of us who face physical challenges. Thank you for making travel possible for disabled people and thank you for making my lifelong dream come true!!!

Sincerely,
Moe Mullen

Solar eclipse safari
5/5

I went on an eclipse safari to Kenya to witness the total solar eclipse that occurred on 3rd November 2013 in north Kenya. My trip was arranged for by Claudious tours. Everything on the trip worked very well. I was picked up from the airport straight after landing, taken to a really nice "European Standards" hotel, where I stayed for the first night. The next morning I was picked up and went together with Claudius and one other eclipse observer to the airport from where we had a flight to Lodwar, a small rural town in the north of Kenya. After landing in Lodwar, we were picked up and driven to the last village before the eclipse, where we switched for a 4x4 tourist truck in which we continued with several other groups of eclipse observers to the center line. One of the tourists knew the exact and correct co-ordinates of the center line of the eclipse so we stopped on the way, checked by GPS receiver several times and then continued until we were in the right place, where we found a tree to sit in a shade and waited.

The weather was good at first, but there were a few clouds passing during totality, which blocked the sun. Even because of that, it was still a very interesting experience as it got dark very quickly and we still saw the majority of the eclipse as the clouds moved fast and were quickly gone. After the eclipse we drove back to Lodwar, where we had a dinner in a hotel. Claudius checked the standard of that hotel and didn't like it so he found me a room in the best hotel in town. The hotel was full (because of the eclipse), but we managed to find enough beds for everyone. The next morning, everyone had to leave by road towards Nairobi, but for me, Claudious Tours managed to get me a flight so I could fly in the afternoon back to Nairobi and then back home, which was very good as the trip takes about 2 days by road, but only 2 hours by plane.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the whole Safari. Everything was very well arranged and prepared and even that I could only go to Kenya for only 3 days, I still managed to enjoy my time to the best and experience and document the eclipse as I wished (except for the clouds, but nobody has control over the weather). I'd certainly recommend Claudious Tours for anyone who is wishing to go on a safari to Kenya. There is no eclipse for the next about 130 years, but I'm sure the other safaris are as interesting as the eclipse and there is a lot to see in Kenya. Claudious is a very friendly person, nice to talk to and tries his best so that his clients enjoy their time, stay in clean hotels and feel safe for the whole duration of their trip.
