Amazing safari to the Crater, Serengeti and Gombe for a family of four
5/5

An incredibly well organised safari including all hotels, flights, taxis and safari jeep, driver and Gombe guide and boat transfer. The trip was tailored to meet our budget and to fit in with our other holiday plans - the hotels and campsites all exceeded our expectations. Evelyn was wonderful, very attentive, with prompt responses to emails before we left, and keeping in touch by phone while on safari to make sure all as planned. The Crater/Serengeti driver was fantastic - driving all hours for us to see the big 5 and pointing out other equally amazing if not so sought after birds and animals - we were lucky enough to see a honey badger. The food was incredible (not easy with all my son's allergies which were well catered for), even had a personal chef at Gombe! Finished off with an excellent guide at Gombe - chimp trekking was unbelievable experience. A holiday we won't forget! Asante Sana!

Couldn't have been better
5/5

What an incredible holiday! We only had seven days and Rose managed to organise a fantastic trip split between a Kenyan safari and the coast. Ol Seki was the most fantastic camp - from the guides, the food, the staff and the game - it was amazing. The staff even went the extra mile to organise a private candlelit dinner for two out in the bush where we got engaged! I can't recommend Rose and The Luxury Safari Company highly enough. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to all my friends.

The best African tour company ever!
5/5

I have toured with EAV twice, indirectly via Mountain Travel Sobek and again last year directly. I worked with Onesmo Gabriel, the owner, to develop a safari in Kenya and Tanzania for a group of my closest friends. It was spectacular! Onesmo was our trip leader along with Sylvester who assisted. As guides, they were fantastic as were each of our drivers. I trusted them all to give my friends and me a wonderful experience, and my trust was not misplaced. I highly recommend this group and, in fact. am going on another safari to Southern Tanzania in July of 2015.

Great Kenya Safari
5/5

My girfriend and I went on a Kenya Safari with Wild Race Africa Safari in September 2014 and just get back from holiday. We started to organise a Kenya Safari more than one month before leaving home. We communicated with Mr. Simon Milambo over e-mail, and I must say that each time he responded rapidly and answered all the questions. We choose 6-day Safari in Masai-Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Mr. Simon explained the whole program in detail inclouding places where we will sleep and eat. He was opened to our suggestions, because we wanted a mix between buget and mid-range accomodations. We negotiated for a price and than paid 30% via PayPal. When we arrived in Nairobi a driver was waiting for us, like promised and took us to the hotel. The next day we met Mr. Simon and started a long drive to Masai-Mara and even went on a short game drive there. Masai-Mara was great and thanks to a great guide/driver Mr. Fred we saw many animals, even the rare leopard. We were in the van with 5 other persons,... Read more witch was a bit crowded, but we managed. Try to organise your Safari with less, like 6 person maximum if you can. I would say 4 people per car is optimum. Mr. Fred spoke very good English and explaind many things about wildlive in general. He answered all of our questions, stoped the car everytime we asked and was flexible for our suggestions on the way. I would recommend Mr. Fred to anyone going to Safari in Kenya. We stayed in Wildbeast Camp and it was OK for two nights, staying longer could be a problem, since it is more basic accomodation, but nice people there. There were less people in the van in Lake Nakuru and Amboseli so it was better. I would recommend accomondation in Kibo Safari in Amboseli were it was very nice. Lake Nakuro accomnondatoin was nice too. If you are planing the same Safari think twice before going to Amboseli. Do not get me wrong Amboseli was very nice, with Kili view, we saw 5 cheetah family there and lots of other animals and the eviroment is very nice and different than in Masai-Mara or Lake Nakuru, more dry - desert like almost, but we spent almost a full day driving there from Lane Nakuru and than half a day driving back to Nairobi. And in Amboseli we didn't see any animals we haven't already saw in Masai-Mara or Lake Nakuru. So top priority must be Masai-Mara, than Lake Nakuru for flamingos and rihnos and than Amboseli for a diferent eviroment and view of Kili. To end our adventure in Kenya we got a free 4 hour guided tour in Nairobi before we got on the plane. I would recommend Mr. Simon and Wild Race Africa Safari as your organizer for Safari in Kenya. I hope you will enjoy as we did!

About: Go2Africa
The maximum in professionalism and expertise!
5/5

We had 9 different flights and a multitude of transfers and connections, all of which came off with precision. The selection of hotels and camps was the best. We went from Cape Town to Kruger to Victoria Falls to Chobe to Okavango Delta to Johannesburg and at each move we were greeted by exciting adventures. We still have many destinations on our "Bucket List" but if we live long enough to go around twice we will definitely be back.

Backpacking on a Budget
5/5

My friends and I are volunteering with Focus in Africa and asked Nelson to set us up on a budget 3 day safari. He was able to create an itinerary we could afford to visit Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater. We camped out and had an awesome time. The tents were comfortable, campsites clean with water and electricity, and our cook delicious. I definitely recommend booking you safari with Focus In Africa because they do great work in their local communities and it is a family owned company so your investment remains within Tanzania.

Great safari adventure. It was worry-free, exciting at the same time relaxing !
5/5

Mr. Simon King, the tour company owner communicates directly and fast regarding queries and concerns since we travelled as a family with teens and a senior vegan. We loved our driver-tour guide and friend rolled into one-Mr. James Sichilima. He took care of most if not all our 8days' seamless transfer from one hotel to the other, from city to the wildlife, from rest stops to fun drives. We loved the tented accommodation the most since it offered an eye opening reality of how humans can live harmoniously with the animals without harming them. Thanks EastCo for memories worth remembering!!

About: Tanzania
Ruaha National Park, the best hidden secret
Overall rating
5/5

After several safaris in Kenia and Uganda, we decided to go to Southern Tanzania to visit the still unspoiled Selous and Ruaha parks. Ruaha National Park is a beauty. From the landing at the airstrip, you see elephants, zebra, giraffe,... This park is totally uncrowded, you can drive around for several hours without seeing another vehicle. Wildlife is therefore not disturbed by jeeps and is very relaxed. We saw at least 12 lions (even up to 10m), cheeta, leopard, and of course dozens of elephants and hippos. Ruaha is a must for game drive lovers... We stayed outside the park at Tandala Tented Camp. A beauty...very comfortable tents, great bar, excellent food, very friendly staff. Masai protect you as wildlife come into the camp and every evening many elephants come to the waterhole in the camp.

Excellent Safari!
5/5

Really enjoyed our safari. Stanley was an excellent guide who helped us interface with animals, culture, and history; Buri not only fed us delicious traditional dishes (loved the machalari) but also was great company. Camping was a lot of fun, and our group was great too.
