emotions with no hassle
5/5

Just returned from a great 15-day camp safari in Tanzania with Savannah Explorer!
It was not the first time in Africa but I still could experience new emotions, thanks to a constant yet not intrusive support from Savannah Explorers. Many thanks to our driver Herman, second to no one in safe driving, spotting animals and getting us right out in front of the best scenaries ever!
Thanks to Roberto and Greyson for their prompt response to problems and requests!

Excellent knowledge and advice, superior service
5/5

I have probably gone on a dozen safaris organized by Taga, mostly in Southern Africa but also in Tanzania. In each case I got good advice on where / when to go and which camps would have what I was looking for. All the arrangements have been perfect, which makes it easy to come back to Taga for the next safari.

It also helps that Mark is a true enthusiast of the safari experience, and his passion for the bush comes through very clearly to the customer.

Memorable Safari with Shadows of Africa
5/5

I just returned from the four day standard Tanzania Express safari with Shadows of Africa and can not say enough good things about the memorable experience. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro and saw countless wildlife; hippos, lions, flamingos, hyenas and even leopards in a tree. Our driver was beyond knowledgeable about each animal and the area. There was no question that could stump him, which just made the experience better. Plus, his keen eyes could spot things in the distance, that we could not see and he spent time to position the jeep in the perfect photo op location. The lodging each night was safe and individually unique. It was so nice to have a hot shower at the end of each day!

A mind blowing experience in a wonderful country
5/5

The safari tour I was on was with Shadows of Africa! I totally loved it - this was my first proper safari experience. Our driver was called Timo and he was a wildlife expert - really nice guy. We got to see lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, elephants, endless list really!! I also loved the food and accomodation. If you get a chance, spend a bit extra and stay in Osupuko - we woke up about 50 metres from elephants and even had hot water in our tents in the Serengeti. An unforgettable experience. Jonny

an insight into East Africa
5/5

There is nowhere in the world like East Africa for immersing yourself in nature and appreciating your true place in the animal kingdom! When guided by the right people who know their land and culture, it is a humbling experience. Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris exceeded my expectations of the Uganda Gorilla Tour, which was more than a hike in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to come breathtakingly close to one of our closest relatives - it also included the wildlife of the magnificent lakes, the Rift Valley, and a most memorable insight into the culture of East Africa that can only be fully conveyed by a locally owned and operated tour company (I know, I have used a UK company before!). The trip from Nairobi to Kibale went seamlessly - comfortable travel and good, affordable meals and accommodation. I was impressed by the professional standards of KWSS - in particular the flexibility in the face of a last minute change of plans by other clients of the tour group. I felt I had a private tour specifically tailored for me for the price of a group tour, that is how much attention KWSS paid to my needs!

Very professional and responsive tour operators
5/5

We could not fault any aspect of our safari experience in Timbavati. From the first email contact with Mark followed by a phone call, it was clear that he wanted to ensure that we had a very memorable safari. I emailed him many times for advice and clarification and he responded with no delays. Mark and Celeste even came to meet us in Jo'burg before we left to discuss the trip in detail. The camp(Lions camp) was outstanding in every respect and we saw the big 5 amongst many other animals.
We enjoyed the experience so much that we are returning to Africa next year and have asked Mark to arrange a trip to Botswana.

A dependable, flexible operator
5/5

Our experience was of highest standard all round. The internal flights, reception at arrival, selection of the resort, it's facility and food as well as the game rides with a very competent guide exceeded our expectation.
Puku Ridge in Luangwa was a marvelous. A unique facility in the park itself.

Southern Africa Adventure
5/5

Taga organised my honeymoon. A city break in Cape Town, followed by a few days on he garden route, followed by a three day safari at Sabi Sabi in Sabi Sands and then on to Zambia to the Victoria Falls for three days. All of the accommodation was exactly as described. Celeste of Taga Safaris made the effort to come and visit us at our hotel in Cape Town which was a much appreciated touch. Overall a hassle free booking experience and we got exactly what was promised.

Another great safari experience
5/5

We asked Mark to organize a short luxury experience for us to relax a bit after a three week exhausting trip in Madagascar. We flew into Johannisburg and the next day continued by plane to Royal Malewane. We had been there before and were very happy to spent three nights there. Expensive, but certainly worth it. The accommodation is luxurious, with private dip pools from which elefants come to drink, the food great, the service perfect and our guide Ryan was just the best. This year we had especially nice leopard and cheetah encounters.

We continued by car to our next camp, Chitwa Chitwa, at the border of a small lake behind a dam. With ranger Hali we saw a young leopard catch a duiker, and also here we saw the big five. Food was very tasty here as well and the bush hike with our ranger was an excellent way to see many birds and plants as well as fresh lion tracks.

Thank you Mark and Celeste for your organization, we had only a week this time, but it was perfect again, like for our several previous trips to South Africa and Botswana.

Discover Kenya,Tanzania and Zanzibar together with local people
5/5

We travelled through Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar with "Kenya Walking". They are wonderful countries, to get to know them with expert local guides from Kenya Walking is a unique experience, they were very kind and succeeded in letting us see all the big five!Arrangements were almost perfect, we had a budget and they managed to mix budget (but nevertheless fascinating) with luxury lodges and hotels. Our group was 2 adults and 2 teens, we had 2 (two!) guides always with us, ready to accomplish our every wish, they even cooked for us typical meals!I would strongly recommend a travel with Kenya Walking!
