Great day out, good value. Loved the close up view of the wildlife.
Had a wonderful day out from Victoria Falls. All very professional. Easy transfer over the border with the right visa. The boat trip gave the better view of the wildlife. Very good value with a great lunch and comfortable taxi transfers. Would recommend the trip to anyone wanting to see great African wildlife and scenery.

A memorable experience
Visiting Tanzania was a memorable experience which exceeded our expectations. The Tanzanians that my wife and I met made the difference. It was their smiling faces, the welcome they extended, care they showed to make our visit enjoyable that made that difference. What a responsible attitude to allocate and dedicate so much of their country to enormous national parks where are preserved the rich fauna and flora, the wild life. The local tour operator, Naiman of Quest Horizon, who suggested and planned for us a "dream" safari, which included visits to 4 national parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro conservation area, Serengeti and Lake Manyara). Among Naiman's excellent team members, Joshua and Gerald took us on a coffee tour which was a hands on demonstration of picking the coffee grains from the trees planted on the side of mount Meru, peeling the grains, roasting them, crushing into powder, and brewing an excellent coffee. Then Naiman’s appointed guide/driver Elisha, bilingual English and French, experienced, skilled in 4-wheel driving, with his professionalism and knowledge of the bush (not to forget mentioning his table cloth and supply of coffee for the picnic lunches among the wild …), helped us witness memorable scenes of the wild life, including the migration of more than 100000 gnus, their crossing the Mara river on their way south to greener pastures. In 8 days we saw, in their natural habitat, all of the Big Five (lions, leopards, rhinoceros, bush elephants, African buffalos), many of the other African bush animals, the unique birds, baobab and acacia trees, and a lot more, we stayed in very comfortable tented lodges, slept under mosquito nets while outside the tent we could hear elephants, hyenas and other animals roaming and to top it all, we visited a Maasai village and learned about this Nilotic ethnic group’s distinctive customs. We ended our trip with 4 days on the island of Zanzibar, in a chalet overlooking the Indian ocean, where again Naiman’s team member, the young lady, Witness organised for us highly interesting visits in the historical Stone Town, the old slave market, a spice tour, … In a word, outstanding vacation.

Very well organized!
We dealt with East African Voyage at the suggestion of a friend who lives in Tanzania. There are over 480 safari tour operators there and its very hard to pick one on your own. They have a reputation of being very fair to their employees and eco-friendly. We can't say enough good things about them. Our itinerary was very well laid out and they followed it to a "T". They were very flexible when planning it and had lots of great suggestions. Our guide, Alex, was awesome and we were so sad when we left him to continue on to other parts of Tanzania. We would definitely recommend East African Voyage and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. It was the holiday of a lifetime so we didn't want any problems and we were very pleased with them.

Safari of a lifetime from exceptional, trustworthy Africa McFlash
We selected Africa Mc Flash tours as we saw them advertised on the Guardian. We were looking for a long safari, for as little money as possible, with a trustworthy company we could rely on actually meeting us in Nairobi! We thoroughly recommend Africa MC Flash if these are attributes you're looking for.
Peter put us on an 8 day safari of Masai Mara, Nukuru and Naivasha lakes and Amboseli national park. We found this the perfect balance of safari types and locations and we didn't want it to end.
The accommodation provided for an EXCEPTIONALLY Reasonable price far surpassed our expectations, the Oldapoi camp, and safari lodges we stayed in through our trip were beautiful and luxurious.
Peter is a completely genuine, exceptionally helpful and reliable man, and we are extremely grateful to him and our guide Eddie for the lengths they went to to make our trip exceptional. We got engaged on the trip and Eddie helped me find the perfect opportunity to ask! Both guys made the trip very special.
Peter and our guide Eddie were such lovely chaps, we couldn't have asked to meet two nicer people and we hope we get to see them again one day!

Massive visit
My vacation encounter with the best safari group will always remain. I spent a couple of days in remote areas of national parks and game reservvs. Kidepo and Murchison parks are the most adventurous places. Uganda is rich with natural resources Nd wildlife. Elephants, Rhinos and mountain gorillas are amazing. People's choice tour guides took us to different parks. I appreciate your efforts. You made my family happy for the two weeks of services to us. I must say that I will arrange to come again. I will also encourage encourage other friends to come and experience the same. My next destination will be mainly in South Western part of Uganda especially Bwindi forest and lake bunyonyo in Kabale.

No help in problematic situations with Tanzanian subcontractor. Poor!
We booked a 5 day Tanzania safari (lake manyara, Serengeti, ngorogoro) through African habitat safaris who ended up subcontracting to Sandland. We prepaid 25% and were supposed to pay the rest in cash on arrival which we did. We then started our tour in a completely old car with a driver for one day of the 5 day tour, since the other driver was not available on the day of departure.
We then took of to Make manyara where we were lucky seeing lots of animals, however not so lucky with our guide. He seemed utterly disinterested and at was constantly either talking on the phone or checking Facebook. Once when we stopped to look for elephants and looked down because we heard some weird noise from his phone we even caught him watching porn.
When we arrived at our lodge for that night (Manyara wildlife lodge- amazing place) the bill was not paid and we had to wait 90 minutes for the matter to be resolved. And thus began the nightmare...
Next morning we were picked up by our new driver, Deo, who was with us for the rest of the trip, and picked up another couple from GB.
When we arrived at Serengeti entrance it turned out, that Sandland had not paid for admission so the shady guy from Sandland, Abraham, had told the British couple to settle their outstanding balance by paying the park fees. Turned out they were paying for all four of us. Here again, we were facing considerable waiting time to resolve things. After game viewing we arrived at our 2 night accommodation Kenzan tented camp (lovely place!) Where after 2 nights it had turned out - surprise - that there was an outstanding balance (which Abraham probably did not pay until this day). Luckily they let us leave based on Abrahams hollow promises, however, we had gotten up super early to do sunrise early game drive which we then missed due to having to settle this open balance. 1000 thanks to the Kenzan people for their understanding!
We then drove direction Ngorogoro where, at Serengeti exit point we had an unsettled open fee again, however everyone had at this point in time fully paid off their safari. We spent 4! hours where Deo, and all of us tries to resolve this matter with all sorts of people - Abraham himself, Derrick/Simon/Rachel from African habitat, however Abraham was only making false promises (he probably had already spent all our money on other things) and the people from African habitat were completely useless and said it was not their fault and we should talk to Abraham. Honestly, if you subcontract someone you are still responsible for a service that YOU sell to someone!
After not being able to settle the issue, we decided to overpay in order to leave and get to Ngorogoro before nine. 600$ on top and we had to drive in the dark (not the nicest thing with all the animals around). We arrived at Rhino lodge and instantly asked whether accommodation had been paid. Surprise-it had not.
However, they let us leave the next morning to see Ngorogoro based on Abrahams false promises that it would be paid by 8 in the morning.
After game drive we drove direction Lake Manyara again, however, at Ngorogoro gate they had gotten word from Rhino lodge that the accommodation had not been paid and so they would not let us leave and even confiscated the car!!!
After 2 hours of more calls and discussions we convinced the people there that we would drive straight to the police in Arusha and they let us go.
People like Abraham and Sandlands should be in Prison for the way they operate and companies like African Habitat should have to take responsibility for who they are subcontracting.
Name of the Sandland guy is Abraham Shaidi in case he changes his name or anything. Stay clear of this guy!!! And should you still want to do safari with African habitat, make sure who they subcontract to since they will not take responsibility! Neither Rachel, nor Derrick, nor Simon were of any help. Whenever the situation got bad they stopped replying on WhatsApp or were suddenly offline... poor behaviour

Safari and more
I booked a safari with Jackpot Safaris (Andrew) because it was recommend to me. It was a good choice. The organisation was really good and reliable. Andrew is a very nice guys and helps out with every question and request we had.
The safari itself was beautiful. We saw nearly all of the animals (the rhinos were hiding) and had a great time with our guide.
The tented safari is truly an adventure (the campsites are not fenced and there are no guards), but also it brings the extra excitement to the experience.
I would definitely recommend Jackpot Safaris to all of those who are looking for a one in a lifetime experience.

It was amazing our agent (Rose ) was really helpful and patient...
Was nice and our tour guide knew a lot of things so he kept on explaining and answering our questions and also I loves the part where by he would drive so fast just so that we could see certain animals.

Simply Class! These guys know 1st Class service
It was my 1st safari and genuinely had no idea what to expect when we booked one of the cheaper alternatives which claimed to provide ‘budget’ service. We honestly would have paid double the amount it was that impressive from start to finish. Right from picking us up from our hostel to dropping us off at the next, these guys were simply awesome! Steve was a truly 1st class ranger and made our group so comfortable, making the experience so special! Matthew’s cooking was amazing, well thought out and incredibly fulfilling! Genuinely cant fault the service of these guys at all and if we’re ever back in Tanzania, we’re coming back!
