Fantastic!
5/5

We went to Tanzania for 2 weeks in February 2011 with Ecological Wilderness Adventures and that was fantastic! Brian was very helpful and responsive in preparing the itinerary. We are so happy we decided to go with them! Everything was perfect, Brian was our guide for most of the safari except the last park in Tarangire where we were with Dixon and both of them are so nice and know so much! Everything was so well organized; we didn’t have to worry about anything. We arrived in Kilimanjaro airport in the evening, and the next morning Brian picked us up at the hotel. We first went to Lake Manyara National Park, and then 4 days in the Ndutu area, south of Serengeti, and that was the highlight of the trip: this was recommended by Brian and I am so glad we went there! This is just amazing; we saw the great migration, elephants, cheetahs, lions, and 2 different groups with lions cubs!!! I so wanted to jump out of the car and take one... We slept in the Serengeti Savannah Luxury mobile camp which was amazing, a huge tent with a real double bed, a shower and chemical toilets, and they warm water for you on the fire when you want to shower! Food is fresh and very good, all inclusive, and at night you hear the animals, so great.

Then we went to the Ngorongoro crater where we saw some rhinos, and ended at the Tarangire where we saw a leopard!! She even killed a monkey in front of us in a tree.

And to finish we went to Zanzibar for a few days at the Ras Nungwi, very nice too.

This was really an amazing trip and I didn’t expect seeing so much animals and so close.

Professional transfers and border crossing (Zim/Zambia) and great hotel
5/5

The transfers all went very well and the drivers were professional and courteous and handled the Zim/Zambia immigration hand over extremely well. We were very happy with the transfers and will certainly use you again.

The Royal Livingstone was great and we were very happy with the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Livingstone, it’s a beautiful hotel with good service.

The only major failure was unfortunately the sunset cruise on the African Queen which turned out to be a very rowdy booze cruise with a lot of very noisy conference delegates who had no respect for the river, the other passengers or the game. As we had just come from The Hide in Hwange (where we had a private guide and vehicle), this was a big shock to us and not the way we should have experienced the Zambezi. I would suggest that you assess the guests needs and tastes when booking a river cruise. In hindsight one of the smaller boats would have been much more suitable, or even just a boat trip to Livingstone Island. Guests should be warned that the African Queen is a noisy booze cruise, the main purpose of the cruise seems to be for passengers to drink as much as possible. That may be okay for conference delegates on a party, not for bush appreciation however.

A day with the wilds
5/5

One of the fantastic vacation I had was during my last visit in Kenya.
I’ve been lucky to witness one of the biggest wildlife spectacles in the world and the most beautiful creatures on earth that you cannot imagine.

The people and the staff was very friendly and all are so happy at the end of each tour.

Recommends :
Masai Mara, the annual wildebeest migration from July to October is surely the greatest wildlife show on earth, an astonishing spectacle on an astonishing scale and the like of which you’ll see nowhere else on earth. In Amboseli, you can get up close and personal with the Maasai and with elephants while Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, looms in the background. In the lakes of the Rift Valley, in the shadow of the volcanoes in the great fracture that almost slices the continent in two, flamingos mass in their millions, turning the earth pink at places like Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria. Then there are the deserts of the north, the primate-rich rainforests of the west, the idyllic marine parks of the coast… This variety of signature African experiences is what gives Kenya a special edge when it comes to choosing a safari, and places it firmly among the elite of African safari destinations.

Thank you for the great experience and will surely recommend !

Exellent tour!
5/5

Kruger Flexi Tours is perfect to visit the Kruger park or the Panarama Route. During a 3-day tour Dave will show you everything. He has great knowledge about the animals and the surroundings. He is humorous and he shows great interest in his guest. He's also a great cook! We saw the big 5, but also a lot of other animals. The Old Vis is a great place to stay before or after the tour. You can completely recharge yourself here to completely enjoy the tour or to process your safari experiences.

A great once-in-a-lifetime experience
5/5

We had an even better safari than we expected. For 9 days we experienced 5 National parks and we did a village-tour and a hunting with the Bushmen. And slept in all super lodges.
It was perfectely built up. The first park (mt. Meru) he saw Giraffes, two kinds of Monkeys, zebra's en some Buffels (1)en exotic birds and the shit of elefants(2), so they where there but we didn't see. Then the next park (Tangarine) we finally saw the first elefant far away then closer and closer Meanwhile we saw the lion (3). The first lodge at the mountain Meru was beautiful but the second (Roika) was beautiful and really in the bush. We were only allowed to go to our tents (=huts) accompanied by Masaai warriors with spears ! Nights we heard all kinds of game , like Hyena's , wildebeasts, elefants and other grass-eating animals. We were in the middle of it !!
Then one day walking in the village (Mto wa Mbu ?) where we had a local meal, a kind of rice table in the middle of the locals.
Then we went to the Serengeti Park via the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. what a beautiful journey and what a wonderful African massage (roads !!) we all had, me my wife and my daughter (12).
this is a huge park where we constantly looking for game and always saw them everywehre. Our guide Manuel, who was with us during these 10 days, was perfect. He gave us all kind of information on the animals, on the vegetation, on Tanzania and it's history and so on and he had the eye of an eagle. He saw more than the 3 of us together. And he didn't drive too fast like a lot of Jeeps do!!
Although the roads sometimes were terrible I think it should never change because you're more in the bush , more in the safari.
And at these two Parks we came across he leopard (4) and the Rhino (5). So the big five was complete.
Then one morning at 7 o'clock the thre of us went hunting whith the Bushmen and we (=they) hit a squirle and a dikdik, which we ate on the spot after making a campfire . Wow how those people live ! Primitive to the basic.
Then the last night we arrived in a the most beautiful lodge (Karama) at Arusha and we realised how quiet all the other lodges were: NO TRAFFIC ! the only sound at the other lodges was the sound of nature !
I've done a 3 days-safari about 20 years ago in Kruger Park, which impressed me already but "living for 9 days in parks really is the way to do a safari."
After this we went to Zanzibar for 5 days to rest and to process all the impressions from the days before.
Matoke tours, thanks for the impeccable organisation (and for giving us Manuel as our personal guide) and we would recommend you to anybody who would go on safari.

Amazing Service!
5/5

I set up a trip for our company which included 19 people traveling from the USA. The communication between Falcon Safaris and myself was excellent. Patrick was a joy to work with. He took care of every detail of the team's stay. It was great to have the ability to prepay for the entire stay. The A'Zambezi hotel was beautiful. The accommodations were wonderful and the staff was the best. I will definitely use them again!

Our future!
5/5

Isac, he is an amazing clever man. I met him in Naivasha when I was there with my former school. We had an excitin and great moment together, but also terrible. Cause it was that time he made me know about the flower farms, wildlife, pollution, and people starving. Isac really gave us all footprints in our hearts and living, with all his story's. I'm so happy for this. I always try to share this with people that I meet.
After some years we've met in Nairobi. He made a plan and took me and my children's home for an wonderful adventure. Biking, camping and safari.
I'm so happy for all!
May you have a long life and with strength and love fight for a better world.. THANKS!!

Professional, friendly... One of the best tour operators I ever met. And I have a lot of experiences
5/5

When preparing the Tanzania tour for a small group of my friends - clients, I've approached several Tanzanian travel agencies. I've chosen Afroriginal Tours & Safaris. The reason were prompt, proffessional and accurate answers to my numerous questions by Mrs. Desiree de Ridder.
And my choice was very good.
Our tour was realized from the July 20 to August 2, 2014. It included visits to the slopes of Kilimanjaro, very interesting and less visited area of Sinya - Elerai to the West of Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks, conservation area of Ngorongoro, Serengeti national park. Finally we've spent even two days in Zanzibar.
We've observed plenty of animals, for instance more than 50 lions, countless of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippoes, different antelopes but also several cheetahs and rare black rhino...
Everything was organized perfectly and Desirre and our excellent guides - drivers Fay and Emmanuel are not only supreme professionals but also very friendly people.
I organize several tours to various countries of Asia, Africa or Latine America each year so I have rich experiences. The services of Afroriginal Tours & Safaris belong to the best ones I've ever meet. My clients and me personally, we've been absolutely satisfied.
I can recommend Afroriginal Tours & Safaris to everybody who wants to visit to that beautiful and interesting country.

Superb experience! Book this with Masha (tour guide) and Gadi (chef)!!!
5/5

Our camping adventure began with an unfortunate start as our toiletries were lost in transit from car to car (with the operator) but the fact that our overall experience was superb is testament to how brilliant our guides were.

Masha was one of the most humble and genuinely nice people I have met. His knowledge of the safari parks is first rate and he drove with consistent enthusiasm and passion that was truly infectious. Gadi was equally brilliant and helpful in providing the services at the campsites and preparing food for the days.

Our experience was spectacular and I will actively find these two guides to do the same again and try and find that elusive cheetah in the Serengeti next time around!

A***** (also...great value for money!!!)

It has been a pleasure to travel with wild planet safari. It has been 14 incredible fun and pleasant days. I have learned a lot. I did not know what I looked forward to, because I did not know anything. But the journey and everything was really great. I would recommend Wild Planet safari to anyone who wants to go on a safari.
