Tanzania from Arusha to Shirati
5/5

We found Naenda Safaris while looking for transportation into Shirati, Tanzania to visit a hospital for which we had been fundraising to send medical supplies. Naenda advertises itself as a social business with an interest in giving back to local communities and this was quite attractive to us. They responded to all our pre-trip inquiries comprehensively, courteously, and quickly. They were the only company that gave us a breakdown of the total charges to be incurred and definitely the only company that agreed to take us all the way into Shirati, a rather remote village on the shores of Lake Victoria as part of our safari. They dealt clearly and honestly with all financial matters. Once we arrived in Arusha our guide, Nixon, picked us up at a predetermined time and place and from then until we were dropped off in our hosts' front yard in Shirati, he did everything he could to make sure our trip through the Ngorogoro Crater and the Serengeti was nothing short of spectacular. He was friendly and respectful and very informative. Our truck was comfortable and well stocked with water and lunches for our daily drives. The tent camps chosen were great. We saw every animal one could expect to see in Africa and some in proximity that was unbelievable to me. Luckily, the Great Migration was happening while we were there and our guide made an extreme effort to make sure we observed that.
As this was my first trip to Africa, my expectations were somewhat tentative. The owner and guide of the Naenda Safari Co. gave us an introduction to the hospitality of the people and the beauty of Tanzania that I will always cherish. I heartily recommend using this company and know that anybody who does will have a safe and memorable safari!

Msafiri Tours, based in Dar es Salaam, with their excellent guide Charles Benjamin based in Arusha, provided us with a top notch experience. Thanks to Charles' excellent sighting, we saw every wild animal we hoped we would see on a 7-day safari including Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and Lake Manyara Park. We stayed in luxury tents with a bed, western toilet and showers available everyday. The KatiKati camp in Serengeti was outstanding, and the food prepared over a fire was the best. Charles was so informative, providing insights and commentary, with knowledge of the terrain, without being boastful or excessive. We highly recommend the combination of Msafiri and Charles, which provided us a memorable, positive experience of a lifetime.

these wonderful animals and unspoilt landscape with the many "wild" impressed us greatly. We saw many species of birds, but unfortunately are not connoisseurs of the bird world.

A wonderful family holiday celebrating our 50th anniversary
5/5

I spent two years planning this trip, communicating with John Muhoho frequently through email. We had lived in Kenya in the sixties, so we were trying to recreate experiences for our children and grandchildren. The entire planning experience was an adventure, as we tweaked and adjusted the schedule to work everything in and keep within the time frame of our grandchildrens' school holidays. Everything about the trip--the travel, the hotels and lodges, the driver-guides--was perfect, and we could not have had a better time. The personalization of the service was incredible, as we met with some old students and returned to the schools where we had lived and worked. So this was a very personalized tour, with a lot of interaction. But we started with a schedule put together by CKC and adjusted it for our family. I have no doubt we would have had a similar exciting time without the "tweaks," so I would recommend CKC for the professionalism of his work and his staff as well as the ability to work with a client to plan a perfect holiday.

Amazing experiance with Jesse and Naenda Safaris
5/5

You may have decided to go on Safari, which is by itself a life-changing experience, but now you have to choose a tour company. I highly recommend Naenda Safaris. You can trust Jesse, he is a terrific guy and runs a small business. Being a small business, you are going to get the best they have to offer. This is unique and special when compared to the other tour companies. It is better to deal with people running their own operation than with hired drivers of a huge company. You will get the best service, and make life long friends at the same time. When I make it back to Tanzania, it will without a doubt be with Naenda Safaris. Can't wait to see you all again Jesse!

Wonderful First Time Experience!

This was a well planned Safari from the beginning to the end. There were no unexpected surprises with expenses or anything. Lodging and food was great.

A true safari experience!
5/5

We picked Safari Infinity because they were giving us better lodges and Lucia was quick with her responses and very helpful in planning the trip as per our preferences. The experience was great, be it animal viewing, food, lodging or the guide. Lucia gets an extra star because she emailed my mom everyday about my well being as I was out of network for 5 days!
Our guide, Fazal was also great, he had so much knowledge about animals and predicted their behavior accurately and spotted so many of them for us.
We told our guide before we started what all were top of our priority list: Big Five and more cheetahs. He made sure we saw all that. We didn't mention we were keen on seeing a hunt, and I really regret that. We were stalking a cheetah as it was about to hunt, but had to leave as it was getting dark and we had to report to our camp.
