Unforgettable trip with Alpha Adventures 6-Day Gorillas And Lions
5/5

Before we started our mission to Uganda we contacted Alpha Adventures to organize us a trip before reporting to our work station and On 8th of June 2013 we had a very good accommodation at Cassia lodge, then on 9th June 2013 we took a trip fully organized and managed by Alpha Adventures. Our trip departed from Kampala through the Equator line and with a lot of sightseeing in the crater region – to Queen Elizabeth National Park and we were accommodated at Mweya Safari Lodge. Even so it was supposed to be the rainy season, we experienced only two times a thunderstorm – and what an experience this was, too. The temperature was always perfect, the plants and trees were in blossom, the grass high. We spotted a number of beautiful birds – thank you, Albert -, and all kinds of mammals, including lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and so many other creatures great and small. In addition, the lodges Albert selected for us were all real beauties and at most of them we were just the three of us, so that we could enjoy the sounds of the night, too.
Albert , our guide and also highly specialized in birdwatching, really took care of everything up to the smallest detail: we were pampered. Right from the first email contacts we got a good feeling of Alpha Adventures and the people working there.
Whenever you plan to visit Uganda, we can highly recommend the services of Alpha Adventures and the admirable knowledge on nature and wildlife which our friend Albert has. We traveled already quite a lot before, but never had we felt as good and learned so much about fauna and flora as we did with Albert and Alpha Adventures.

Fantastic 'Classic Namibia' experience - impossible to fault
5/5

A huge thank you to our guide Nick and Nature Travel Namibia for making our trip an unforgettable adventure. From the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we said goodbye, we loved every second. In such a beautiful country, we couldn't have asked for a better conceived itinerary - our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! Nick was the perfect host with immaculate attention to detail, exceptional knowledge of wildlife and a fantastic sense of humour. From the beautiful and ever changing scenery to hunting around for snakes and lizards with the incredible Tommy on the 'Living Desert' experience, there was always something new to enjoy. We still can't believe how many different and wonderful animals and birds we saw and each new sighting was special, no matter how far - or close! - they were. On our flight home we were already planning our trip back. We couldn't recommend Nature Travel Namibia highly enough. Totally spectacular. Go!

Review about Okavango Delta by Jennifer Baird
Overall rating
5/5

Simply beautiful. The mokoro ride is one of the most zen things I've ever done. Anyone that has ever appreciated a bird MUST go to the Okavango. Out of 2 weeks of beautiful sunsets, the ones in the delta were the best.

Review about Moremi Game Reserve by Jennifer Baird
Overall rating
5/5

Moremi had the most unique wildlife experiences for me - might have just been luck - but we saw honey badgers, wild dogs and wattled cranes - 3 species I have not seen elsewhere in Africa.

Wonderful Experience!
5/5

We enjoyed our first safari experience with the Bestday Sarafis.
The guide, God, was very good experienced and knowledgeable. Without him, our trip might not be such good.
We went to Lake Manyara, NgoroNgoro and Serengeti.
We could see almost everything we had wanted to see; giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, lions, hipos, rhino, zebras, wildbeests, and so on. We could even see wildbeest migration, just born gazelle, and female lions hunting baby buffalo, which were not easily seen.

Comparing to other tour companies, the price was reasonable. I requested quotations to more than 15 tour companies, the Bestday Safaris was the cheapest and flexible.

Everything was so wonderful and if I have a chance to go there again, I definitely will go with the Bestday Safaris again.

Great experience
5/5

Even though we kept changing dates and itinerary, they worked with us until we figured out all the details. Everything went very smooth and we are very happy. The itinerary we did was 4 days of safari's and 4 days on Zanzibar. It was a perfect plan and a great vacation. Guides were professional and courteous, saw all the possible animals, and took thousands of photos. Thank you!

Great Safari Experience
5/5

Was traveling alone, and emailed the company last-minute to look for a safari tour to join. The owner (Michael) was very quick to respond, and accommodating in terms of finding a group that matched my requested itinerary and arranging airport pick-up and drop-offs. Our driver/guide (Solomon) was excellent; we felt safe and comfortable at all times, and his experience and expertise ensured that we had as many animal sightings as possible. The camp cook (Rodrey) made sure the group was well-fed with delicious meals. All in it was a very positive first-time safari experience, and would not hesitate recommending this tour operator to others.

Great service start to finish
5/5

We were hesitant at first in selecting Zed safaris because online searches did not yield much information but after a few very prompt and professional email exchanges we knew we were in good hands. They were on top of all the small details which we would have maybe missed. The owners personally visited us at the hotel meet on the evening of our arrival and walked us through the coming safari days.

The vehicle was in good safari condition and our driver cum guide, Sanjay, was very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna of the national parks we visited. We were handed a local phone upon arrival which helped for communicating back home (roaming charges in Tanzania need to be looked at). Their office kept checking in with us to ensure everything was in order.

The whole Tanzanian safari experience was one to remember and maybe some day down the road we would love to visit again. We will definitely be going back to Zed safaris and would recommend them to anyone looking for a personal touch.

Overlanding with Anda was brilliant
5/5

I have nothing but praise for Anda African Adventures. Originally planning a trip to Africa I found 3 different overland tours I was interested in doing, but each was from a different company and at different times. I found Anda at some point on a google search and upon realising they do custom tours I sent them an email.

From that point on the service was outstanding. I had a good chat to Remsi and Anael about budget and sent them a list of the various cities and sites we wanted to see. We discussed accommodation and transport between places and soon I had a sample itinerary to look over incorporating almost everything I wanted to see, mixing camping with accommodation, and fitting within the budget. A few changes made here and there and we had the itinerary, our plan was set.

As Anda are a Tanzanian company, we were booked through a different company (SA Tours and Safaris, who booked us with Nomad Tours) for legs from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, then from Victoria Falls to Dar es Salaam. A few hiccups along the way in the form of accommodation changes or dispute as to whether or not we had paid the activity package. A few phone calls to Anda, and the activity package was sorted, and the changes in accommodation was no hindrance at all. The criticism here is for SA Tours and Safaris who not only failed to tell ANDA we were booked with Nomad, but also gave us an outdated itinerary (at least 12 months old) which led to being sent to the wrong departure point also.

Anyway once we got to Tanzania and met with the Anda drivers everything went super smooth and perfectly. Everyone involved was enthusiastic and helpful when I said I had 40kg of school supplies I was hoping to donate to schools visit along the journey even though it would take time and effort out o each day. The car and equipment were all in good condition, the driving was great and the food was plentiful (almost too plentiful) and delicious.

Everytime there was a hiccup with the journey I called either Remsi or Anael, but if I could not get through, I called my mum in Australia and asked her to call them with all the details, within minutes she had answers or a call back if she left them a message. Everything was sorted the moment there was an issue.

Anda are very professional and extremely good, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Welcoming, friendly and accomodating tour company
5/5

when we decided to climb Kilimanjaro we explored several options. After a lengthy and thorough search we found Richard Kilonzo's company. We were looking for a custom tour to fit every ones needs and he was able to accommodate us at a very reasonable cost. His services exceeded our expectations and he made special arrangements for all of us as our arrival and departure were not synchronous. The services during out climb were excellent, and the safari tour was very well organized. He personally greeted us upon arrival, departure and had a farewell dinner with us. I would highly recommend him for anybody interested in the beauty of Tanzania and neighboring countries. I will definitely contact him for my next trip to the region.
