The whole trip surpassed our expectations, with a wonderful guide.
5/5

Everything about the tour was brilliant. It wasn't comfortable at times - bumpy roads, accommodation with no electricity for 21 hours a day - but that was all part of the experience. And our guide, Saloum, was amazing - so helpful and flexible. He found us every animal we could ever have hoped to see in the parks, including a leopard and tree lions. All three places we visited - Selous, Udzungwa and Mikumi, were fantastic, and so free of other tourists. I highly recommend this tour, given that it was much better value than others we found.

Efficient,quick and highly professional
5/5

We came across ATC through the internet. They were highly responsive and efficient to an extent (that i had doubts it could be fraud) . Every single request was promotly dealt with . Simply , they made our wish with this lifetime trip come true .
They even called us several times to answer all our questions which they ve already answered per mail) . As first timers to southetn Africa , we had too many questions . They were always extremely patient and friendly .
The trip was a dream . Not a single disappointment . Even when there .. whenever there was any uncertainty , they will resolve it on the spot .
As a family of three adults , we were in best hands , all went very smoothly , according to plan .This all has made our trip so memorable and enjoyable .
Thank you all from ATC . Planning and after sale service AAA+

This was a dream come true! Never thought I could afford to go on safari. But with World tours I did
5/5

I never thought that I could go on a safari, which had been a dream since I was a kid reading National Geographic. I took my son-in-law and we both were in awe the entire time were on the safari.....You MUST insist on the driver and guide, Charles.... He was the best guide one could ever ask for. He stopped along the way to point out things we never would have seen without his keen eye. With his guidance, we saw the BIG 5!!!! Amazing trip. Charles was determined that we would see all BIG 5 and he delivered. He stopped along the way to chat with other guides to find the best spot to locate the animals. He explained about the migration, the animals and many interesting things about the Serengeti.

We did the budget tour, 5 days four nights and went with the camping experience. I checked with many outfitters but Richard, owner of World Tours was the easiest to work with and is honest. He worked with me to visit a poor school, off the beaten path to deliver 300 lbs of school supplies i bought. He worked with a park ranger to have us transported a few hours out of the way to visit the school and meet the chief and the students. He also interceded with the customs folks at Kilimanjaro airport when they wanted to charge me $300.00 for importing the supplies for the school. He bargained the $300 down to $80 on my behalf even before we left the airport.
I would highly encourage you to travel with World Tours, as they are great. the equipment [tents and sleeping bags] are good. the food is very good and plenty of it. Bring some warm jackets though as it does get cold at night......

Please......also consider bringing some much needed school supplies that the children desperately need, the best things would be 9"x12" reusable green chalkboards, a pack of 10 is about $12.00 US, along with a case of Chalk [$22.00 US]. pencils and paper is non-existent. You can drop them off when you arrive, and Richard will keep them and have them delivered through a park ranger to the village. Imagine a school where your children attend with nothing in it except some desks and one blackboard on the wall...no books, no pencils, no paper, no maps, no anything. In addition to the 110 chalkboards and two cases chalk I brought pens, pencils, paper, crayons, color pencils etc, but realized these are "one and done". the best thing to bring is re-usable chalkboard and chalk. This will help the kids have the ability to move onto secondary school, which they can't attend unless they pass entrance exams. Its hard to do without any school supplies..
thanks Richard and Charles for a fantastic trip.... Sorry its taken so long to write this review!!!

Amazingly thoughtful and there for us 100%
5/5

Quite honestly, I was a little hesitant to book with Dancing Zebra because I had trouble finding online reviews, but I couldn't be happier that I booked our honeymoon through them.

From the very beginning, Jessica was flexible with our budget and needs and gave us an excellent recommendation for a 6-night safari. Every aspect and every quesiton was thoroughly covered by both Jessica and Abdullie. They gave us a full breakdown of what to expect each day from both the driver/tour and the accommodations through both an online portal and a customized pamplet that gave tips on everything from the details of the accommodations to tipping customs to even what to pack for the trip.

We actually ran into a problem with a self-booked flight heading into the safari--the flight had been cancelled without any notification to me or my husband. I contacted Dancing Zebra to let them know, and Abdullie was all over it, even though the flight had not been part of the itinerary that Dancing Zebra had covered. He was able to get in touch with the airline that cancelled and helped to ensure that I was booked on another airline to get to Kilimanjaro Airport to be in time for the start of our safari.

While our guide, Peter, was amazing and knowledgeable throughout the entire trip, the most enjoyable part of our trip was our stay at the Nasikia Naona Moru camp in southern Serengeti. My husband and I were thrilled with how luxurious the tent was (the epitome of "glamping"), but what really made the stay was the staff. They were so kind and thoughtful--I had the flu throughout the entire stay and they made sure I had enough fresh ginger tea to cure an entire family with the flu. The last night we were there, they made us a special dinner outside, underneath the stars. The staff sang and danced us a farewell song and we had such a wonderful time!!!

I cannot thank Dancing Zebra enough for the amazing honeymoon that we had.

Fraudulent!
1/5

I was close to giving this company a Four Star rating but have to give it One Star. Cost me an additional $4,800! I have to determine is Felix is dishonest but can tell you that I have not received $4,800.00 in over paid funds. Upon arriving to Nairobi I was told that my wired funds had not yet been received. I had a confirmation but was told that Equity Banks LTD was holding funds due to the election issues that were happening in Kenya at that time. In order to continue I had to pay cash for the trip. Once the funds were received and released Felix would refund the amount to me. Once the elections had been resolved my funds would be released and Sardius Tours would refund me. Well the elections were resolved about 30 days later in October. It is now the end of January and I have to be refunded. The owner (Felix) continues to telling me to wait a couple of more weeks for good news. I have attempted to contact the Bank and the Department of Tourism and have yet to hear back. I will continue this fight but please be warned. Stay as far away from Sardius Tours as possible! Don't give them your money! Fund a more reputable Tour agency!

Wonderful safari that delivered everything that was promised!
5/5

We had a wonderful time on safari. Our driver, Nick, was a great driver, a knowledgeable tour guide, and fun to have on the safari with us. He was especially patient when we made him stop for every single animal we saw on our first safari drive ... not knowing how MANY animals we would see as the days progressed. We saw the big 5, and many more animals. On two occasions, we were offered the option to spend the whole day on safari drives, instead of just going for a few hours. This allowed us to get deeper into the parks and see lots of animals. We did the 9 day Hakuna Matata tour. The only thing that we may have done differently is to skip the Lake Begoria resort and park. We had just seen all the flamingos at Lake Nakuru so we would not have needed to do the long bumpy ride to see them again. Also, we enjoyed all the resorts, but Lake Begoria was the one that we enjoyed the least.
Make sure if you bring cash for payment or souvenirs, that the bills are dated after 2000 or they will not be accepted.
The airport made us ship in our luggage (not allowed in carryons) all the wooden souvenirs. So make sure they are packed well. Also, if you are from colder parts of the US, you may not need to bring warm coats etc. The mornings were in the 60's (F). I wish I had packed less. A sweater or sweatshirt was nice to have though.

A once in a lifetime experience... provided by Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris Ltd
5/5

Everything about this company is about providing clients a unique experience to showcase all that Kenya has to offer. Booking the trip was simple, questions were answered in a timely manner and overall my experience was first class all the way.
Each place that we stayed at offered amazing care and customer service. All staff focused on making our trip enjoyable, but more important we felt as if this was very much a customised and personalised experience.
Our guide was amazing. He took time to show us unique aspects of Kenya, including people, places and animals as we travelled from Nairobi through to the Masai Mara and answered questions as we experienced this journey.
I can't thank Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris Ltd enough for providing me the trip of a life time. I sincerely appreciate each of you involved and hope one day our paths cross again...thank you once again for EVERYTHING!!!
