Fantastic Company, Beautiful people, Amazing experience - 10 out of 10
5/5

The most difficult decision was which Company to choose for our safari as there are so many Companies out there it is quite a minefield. Our decision was based on the Company being based in Botswana for local knowledge, registered with the Botswana Tourism Authority, their ability to fit in with our time frames, adaptability, reviews and speed of response.
We chose Kalahari Breeze and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Kalahari Breeze is also not only locally owned and operated but also the money goes back to the communities to help sustain the local people and economy which was another plus for us
Maria, my contact answered every question I had with almost immediate response and was happy to accommodate any changes to their suggested itineraries to suit our own. Chris who is one of the owners and operators met us in Maun to make sure everything was going to plan and that we had had no problems or issues. This was a lovely personal touch which showed how much he cared about and valued his clients.
He is in constant contact with his staff to ensure everything goes smoothly and according to plan and to deal with any issues that may arise. The only small issue we experience was dealt with swiftly and smoothly by Chris and in no way deterred from our experience.
We were given a comprehensive itinerary prior to our arrival with detailed information of our trip including the accommodations, safaris etc. We had no issues at all with being met at the places specified at the times stated from pick-up at Victoria Falls airport to drop-off in Maun 11 days later.
Everything was well managed and we have absolutely no complaints at all. Everyone we dealt with were very helpful and such lovely people. Where we stayed, where we went and what we saw was amazing. Our expectations were exceeded
Our itinerary followed Vic falls, Chobe, Savuti, Moremi, and the Okavango.
Our guide Kaiser was fantastic with so much knowledge and experience. He was so diligent in his task as guide and driver and never gave up until he had found the animals we wanted to see. As well as a impala, water buffalo, giraffe, elephants and zebra we saw Hippos, wild dogs, hyena as well as 3 prides of lions and a leopard due to Kaiser’s tireless search!
We had the most amazing time especially on the 4 night mobile safari. Camping out in the wild was one of the most exhilarating experiences I have had and we felt extremely safe in the capable hands of Kaiser and George although there were Elephants, hyena and wild dogs wandering through the camp as well as the lions on the doorstep!!
We had also organised a self-drive safari through Namibia and had thought of doing the same through Botswana but so glad we didn’t. The roads are deep with few sign posts and many different dirt roads to follow (whereas in places like Etosha there are set routes and off-road is not allowed) therefore the likelihood of not only getting lost but driving around all day and not seeing anything is HUGE. Therefore we would certainly advise a guided safari in Botswana to get the most out of this amazing country and without a doubt recommend Kalahari Breeze to do this for you!!
Kalahari Breeze also organise self-drive Safaris in Namibia which we didn’t realise at the time but next time would definitely look at them to help us with this too.
Can’t recommend these Guys highly enough!

Adventure of a Lifetime!
5/5

I recently had the pleasure of going on safari with Walking Stick Travel and Tours. My family and I were truly impressed with the entire experience, from beginning to end. Prior to our adventure, Phillimon was wonderful to work with – customizing our itinerary based on a combination of what we were hoping to do and see and what he thought would make for the best experience for us. Upon arrival, he met us at the airport, brought us to our accommodations in Maun and even met us later in the evening to take us to a fabulous dinner spot.

Our safari included two nights in the Okavango Delta, two nights at Khwai Concession, and two nights in Kasane so that we could visit Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls. Phillimon, Kenny (our guide in the Delta), and our chef Joe, along with the rest of the team, were all so friendly and professional. They are also local, so their knowledge of the area and the animals is very impressive! Joe kept us well fed and was able to work around a number of dietary restrictions, cooking up some amazing dishes on the campfire. During our entire trip, Phillimon took care of every little detail and had everything pre-arranged. He is also an incredible guide! His knowledge and persistence led to some wonderfully intimate sightings. One night at sunset he tracked and found us a leopard that we were able to watch with no other vehicles around!

If you’re on the fence about camping while on safari, do it! Sitting around a campfire at night, falling asleep to the sounds of the animals, and waking up to a gorgeous African sunrise make it an experience you won’t ever forget. The accommodations were wonderful – comfortable and clean, and we never once felt unsafe. I highly recommend booking with Walking Stick and Phillimon for the adventure of a lifetime!

AMAZING SAFARI!
5/5

Alliance Destinations made our trip simply unforgettable!

The first positive remark regards the pre-arrival organization: James was very helpful and answered quickly to all of our requests and questions.
We decided to do a 6-days Safari, implying an hard work for the driver: we started with Masai Mara, then Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West and we finished our trip with Alliance in Watamu.

Our driver Kennedy was excellent: he has an incredible knowledge of the parks, animals and places, he was very kind and extremely professional. We had such a great time during our safaris, everything was perfect: I will never forget this trip!

5/5

John and his team did an exemplary job of keeping us informed of plans and on time, and bringing amazing connections points for our group as we traveled. We were cared for so well and by the end of our two weeks, we felt as though they were all family.

We took tour from Mali Kale. It was the best experience i’ve ever had! Thanks to Richard for organising everything in a perfect way and to our lovely driver and guide Masai Nogo for the great animal experience, driving nicely and carefully. And of course can not forget Dr. Nelson for the delicious food. We did Serengeti and Ngorongoro with them. Highly recommend it!!

One of the best 10 days of our life
5/5

For our honeymoon, we wanted something special and different.. so we choose to visit Kenya for 3 and half weeks.
And obviously, a safari was on our plan. So we sent a mail to KATO ( Kenya Association of Tour Operators ) with our wishes : safari duration, languages, prices, dates..
We had, after that, about twenty responses of twenty different kenyan tour operator.. we just had to compare.
We finally decided to go with Buymore Adventures (funny and weird name! ). Nadzua was so nice, very quick to response and to adjust our safari. She made us a unique travel with all our wishes. We went for 10 days safari from north to south, east and west. We were with the best driver/guide Kaka and the best french guide Joseph (as we requested, we are both good in english but it was so much better to have someone who can explain to you everything in your language).. they were both very complementary and made those 10 days very special.
We started a very beautiful and special park named Samburu, one of our favorite ! Chetahs, zebras, girafes, elephants, leopard, oryxs, crocos, etc... We missed the lions ans rhinos for the Big 5 but this park is so much more than that ! Then we went to Nakuru, very beautiful landscape.. and the RHINO, black and white.. speechless. Some Rothschild girafe, flamingo, buffalo, jackal.. After that, the one and famous Masai Mara. If you want to see it all, and you have only few days, that the one you must go. We saw the big five in one day.. CRAZY ! We spent 3 days there so we also saw a hunting chase, the great migration, the birth of a baby zebra ( one of the best moment of the trip) and so much more. If I had to give the one negative point it will be the crowd. That the price of such beauty, there are a loooot of people around. And some time it feels more like a zoo than a reserve. The worst part was for a leopard, they were about 20 jeeps around it.. It felt bad.
It wasn't easy to leave it but the trip must go on! So we went to Lake Naivaisha. Not much to see, it just and only a way to go to Amboseli (they are no road straight from Masai mara to Amboseli). DO NOT DO the boat tour, it's expensive and worthless. We were in a nice lodge (Sopa lodge) where you can walk with wild animals around the garden (waterbucks, zebra, hippo, girafe).
We went to Amboseli for 2 days.. the weather was terrible the first day so it was a little bit frustrating.. The park was ok, but with the rain few animals were around. The second day, we woke up and WAOUH the Kilimanjaro was welcoming us.. speechless ! We saw elephants, elephants, and elephants mostly ! But it was very nice to do.. sometimes you can see lions, hyena, etc..
And we ended our trip in Tsavo for just one and half day.. So, not much for this big park. But just for the landscape it was worth it. The red land, the green and yellow grass, the blue sky, the baobab, the red elephant/zebra/oryx/girafe .. Very beautiful. We did a footsafari for one hour which was nice in contrary to the night safari.
So to end this very long comment, we were very pleased with the safari Buymore and Nadzua made us, from the beginning to the end we have had such a wonderful moment, such beautiful memories and photos, 10 perfect day. Thanks ten times to Kaka and Joseph, and there bionic eyes.. we would have missed so much without you guys !
If I have to make just one "negative" point, it's about the duration of the travel between parks! It's very, very long.. because of the road, the traffic, the maximum speed allowed, the villages you cross, the pause, etc... You can easily add 1 or 2 hours to every forecast Nadzua made on the time-travel document.. But we won't change a thing even if we knew the real time road between parks, so..
Just enjoy every second of every time of it.

Best Safari and best guide/driver ever in our honeymoon!
5/5

We chose a 3 day safari to Masai Mara for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Ambrose (our guide and driver) was excellent: a four by four driver!
He tried hard to make us see all the animals and we did it: in one day we were able to see all big five and many other great animals.
It was an unforgettable experience on our honeymoon.

Big Five Guaranteed
5/5

Dicky Chikoza & Kenyatta from KT Safaris are very friendly and fulfill all your wishes.
We asked for a Big Five guarantee, and after 3 days we received it. Tsavo-West, Tsavo-East & Mzima Springs. Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras in Tsavo-East, and Water Buffalo, Rhino in Tsavo-West. in Mzima Springs encounter Hippos and Crocodiles. Included are 2 nights in Voi Lodge & Ngulia Lodge where in the evening a piece of meat is hung to lure the leopard .., and yes the leopard came.
In short for € 400, = 3 days Big-Five Safari by KT Safaris is worth more than 10.
Have fun and security with KT Safaris,
Greetz Marc Saarloos
