Poor communication but ended up with an amazing experience.
Communication started off good early into the planning of the safari but ended up poor. After a while the responses i was getting were vague. What really annoyed me was when i was told that once i got to my hotel in arusha the night before safari someone would be waiting at the hotel to collect the remainder of money that needed to be paid and an intinerary of the next day would be given. Arrived at the hotel with no one from the tour operators to give any information. Spent half an hour trying to get through to them to get some information with no answer. Eventually they called the hotel back to give us our pick up time and no apology or explanation of why they were not there when they said they would be. If your gonna say your going to do this then i would expect this to be done. Other then that we had exceptional service due to our tour guide Oscar. Great guy who provided us with a great knowledge of the all the animals and history of the serengetti. Overall i was happy with service that was provided but the lack of communication was rather annoying.

Incredible company - you’re in good hands!!
AMAZING safari company. Justus was a wonderful organizer, who gave us extra information, and accommodated all of our special requests. I went with 3 other women, and we requested mid-range acccommodations, which far exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous views and impeccable service at Agandi Uganda, Twin Falls Lodge and Birdnest Lodge - all which were recommended by Justus! Ben was our driver, but more like a family member! He went above and beyond for us to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted (the gorillas were FANTASTIC) and that we always had a fun time! We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable guide, with a great sense of humor, and can-do attitude! You’ll be so happy you chose this company! :D

Wonderful trip, friendly atmosphere and professional organisation!
Every time we contacted Cheetah Safari Tours, they replied very quickly and professionally. The programme of our trip (8 days in western Uganda with 2 children) was tailored exactly to our wishes, and everything happened just as planned. Our driver and guide Sam was very friendly, knowledgeable about the Ugandan culture as well as about the fauna and flora we met. Excellent driver, and excellent at spotting animals during the game drives!

Good company, reliable service
I took a 7 day safari and have a blast.... Overall experience was great, from the moment I contacted the company to quote to the end of the trip communication was fluent, amicable and professional.
Once on Nairobi Fredinah was most helpful and on the road both Ambrus and Bonifaz were excelent on shoing the beauties of the county... Although I could not see the migration (it was due one momth before) we saw the big 5 and a lot more...
I would reccommend the company to any one traveling to Nairobi and planning a Safari...

Superbly Customized and Beautifully Executed 10-day Safari
We had heard about Transtrek through friends so when we (family of four, with 2 kids aged 5 and 9) decided to do that dream safari in Kenya, I sent them a note with our "dream requirements", having been to Kenya a few times in the past. What we got back from Transtrek was even better than what I envisioned: these guys really take care of all the details. The plan was changed twice before the travel as the organizer found better options, such as when family tents became available in tented camps. Remarkable commitment to make the trip memorable. We had our private driver for the whole stay and he was absolutely fabulous. We even found out he spoke French perfectly (I did not even ask for that...). Tony was our angel and a star with the kids. He was a superb safari guide, patient, knowledgeable and always looking for ways to make things perfect for us. Transtrek went beyond the call of duty many times to ensure a unique experience. Really feels like a boutique / family operation, really attentive to the clients. Difficult to leave Kenya after that but we will certainly return with them...

The gorilla's made the trip amazing
Our driver was Samuel, and he had a lot of knowledge and the first day of our trip, he did talk quite a bit about animals, culture, and pointing things out along the way. The first stop for lunch was fine, but he disappeared for a significant amount of time, and said nothing. So we were waiting, wondering where he went. The places we stayed were excellent, and had really great food! The gorilla trekking experience was phenomenal, definitely bring proper hiking pants, which would have been nice to know. We had booked our tour late, but an email saying what to bring/expect would have been nice. Also, after our 7 hour trek, Primate Journey was supposed to provide water and there wasn't any, and after asking to stop for water, he said he'd get it later (I think he didn't feel like going outside in the rain), which he never actually did get us water. The last day, Samuel was supposed to pick us up at 9:30 am and didn't show up till 11:40 am. Very frustrating, as neither of us wanted to be driving in the dark (8 hour drive ahead of us) and we had called and texted him, with no response. Overall, the gorilla experience was incredible but I would never recommend Primate Journeys to get you there

Excellent
We visited Africa for our honeymoon, and Obed was our tour guide for trekking the Nyiragongo volcano and seeing the gorillas in Virunga park. He did an amazing job, very attentive and responsible and friendly. He is so passionate about what he is doing, he knows very much about the fauna and he actually specialized in birds too (we loved hearing about different types of bird species). To this day we are in touch with Obed, because he is very involved in helping out his community. For example one year for Christmas he helped us get shoes for the children from one of the poor schools from the village.
We totally recommed Kumbukumbu tours and their services, Africa is so worth visiting, what you see there is unique and you sill remember it for the rest of your life.

Very well organized safari
I was so impressed with the services starting from the airport until end of the tour. Ibrah himself picked us up from the airport and introduced us to our guide. The itinerary of three days in Ruaha National Park was prepared well with their professional staff.
Everything worked! We went straight to the park for the evening game drive and later to the Sunset lodge for overnight, the accommodation was super and the meals were very delicious. We went one-day full game drive and we saw the Great Ruaha River, four big animals, birds and many more. I couldn’t imagine Ruaha Park was that big, cant wait to visit Mikumi next year and I will choose this company again.I was so impressed with the services starting from the airport until end of the tour. Fabulous Safari with a great guide!
What a great time with Luitours and Safaris, excellent service than I could imagine and always on time. Safari trip in Tanzania was really amazing with guide Freddy. We saw all the big animals and had very nice accommodations in lodges that made us feel like we were part of the culture, rather than busy hotels and that was the best experience ever!
I highly recommend booking through Luitours and Safaris they are very friendly as they offer good services with best price.
