Excellent experience from start to finish!
5/5

I was a bit apprehensive about planning a trip with any company- it's always hard to know who is on the other end, where your money is going, etc. My fears were laid to rest once I started working with Nadine from Safari Specialists. Nadine helped us plan a trip of a lifetime! She worked within our budget and gave us recommendations based on her own travel experiences. Nadine went above and beyond to answer any and all questions we had - her answers were extremely detailed and we felt 100% confident in our decisions because of this. During the planning process and the trip we had the opportunity to interact with other people from Safari Specialists as well. Each person had the same level of professionalism and knowledge that Nadine did. The end result is our trip was perfectly planned with no detail overlooked. The name is appropriate- they are the Safari Specialists!

A wonderful stay in Arusha, un forgettable
5/5

The communication was excellent our expectations were as promised by mail and on telephone. to sum up, when we contacted the director papa Richard for information and booking, it was as if we had met each other before. Our driver and guide Mr. Murdy has that gift of marrying both (driver and guide) with respect and sense of responsibly. The lodging and meals were fair in comparison with the price, our expectations were met so to say. Thank you once again. Hope to meet you again for a long stay tour.

Great trail in Okavango Delta
5/5

Afrika Ecco Safaris took care of a great trip in the Okavango Delta. They organized an excellent base cap with friendly personnel and good food. Guides know their way in the wilderness tracked lions for us

Really good experience!
5/5

When I decided to make a safari, I looked at this site to find a good and expert operator and a not very expensive one and I met Focus In Africa. I looked at the site and I knew I liked it, cos Focus in Africa is into volunteering. I exchanged phone number with Nelson and we chatted for hours about the safari and he suggested everything, from the hotel in Arusha to the best way to reach Arusha from Dar Es Salam. I was travelling with a native Maasai and we had the problem of his passport and Nelson helped us for everything. We went to a 3 day safari, visiting Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire and all was perfect. The hotel in Arusha, the camp site, Branson, the driver and William, the cook!! I highly recommend Focus in Africa, cos everything was ok, the safari was perfect and Nelson even helped me to buy tickets for the bus we had to take at the end of the safari to start another safari on the long, dusty roads of Tanzania! You can trust Nelson and speak with him on whatzup! I hope to come back one day and see Serengeti!

Great migration safari
5/5

I have been on safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Africa Remote Safaris. This was my first time in Africa . I was very impressed with their services especially our guide Hamza from Tanzania. We arrived on an early morning flight and Hamza was at the airport to meet us. We traveled to Lake Naivasha and we stay at Cray Fish camp. This is an intimate camp located at the edge of the lake Naivasha and is just a walking distance to hells gate park. We also took bicycles and went to hells gate park. This was unforgettable tour. Our local guide Morris was very knowledgeable about birds and animals. We also took a boat to the crescent island, we saw hippos, giraffe, buffalo and zebras. The next morning we drove to Maasai Mara, a section of the road is good but there is a very rough part for 3hours driving to Ol Moran tented camp. Ol Moran camp is a semi- luxury camp in a good location. The meals at the camp were super. Better than most hotels we have been to. We spend three nights. Maasai Mara. The best part of the safari was on the second day when we witnessed a group of 22 lions hunting. We spent 3 hours waiting patiently as the lions took positions around a group of 10 Buffalos. This was incredible. The lions were hiding behind the Safari cars- Very clever-I think.

They hunted in groups and waited until two buffalo were free from their group. We watched at the Lions attacked the two buffalo but there was a big fight. The Buffalo fought off the Lions in a fight that lasted almost twenty minutes. In the end the Buffalo won. too bad for the Lions.

After the Maasai Mara we drove to mwanza where we stayed at Speke Bay Lodge. The service at Speke Bay was not very good and the manager was not very kind to his staff. Next was Serengeti-We stayed at Ikoma Bush Camp. The camp has a German owner and is very good. Clean rooms, hot water and great food and many Stories from Mr Pepe. A very friendly man. The Serengeti is ten times the size of Maasai Mara, we saw huge crocodiles at Grumeti river, we saw the big five. Ngorongoro Crater was amazing- we stayed at Rhino Lodge, A small lodge that is managed by Local Maasai People. After two days we left for Lake Manyara for one night at Twiga Safari Camp- Again great food and friendly local people. Our Safari ended in Arusha where we said goodbye to the best guide ever! Hamza who had become part of the family from Kenya all the way to Tanzania. We were very lucky to have one guide for this safari.

Unforgettable journey through Uganda
5/5

We have made the journey of our live in Uganda. The nature was more rich and beautiful than elsewhere in Africa. Lots of birds! Sometimes, we had to struggle with the nature. Every day heavy rains. But at the end of the day, we were more than satisfied with the things we have seen.
The meeting with the Bweza gorilla family was unique and unforgettable, what an emotions!!!
The lodges were cosy and beautiful. We think about the Rwakobo Rock lodge in M'Buro, Ihamba Safari lodge in Queen Elizabeth NP. In Cuckooland, we had to order hot water for the shower...very special, funny and ecologic 100%!
We thank Matoke Tours to have given us the time of our live!
There is so much to tell about animals and wildlife in Uganda, therefor I need more place and time to write it down ;o)
I recommand people to get themselves to Uganda with Matoke, the Uganda Experience.

One of the best travel experiences ever
5/5

We went on safari with Sunny Safaris during our honeymoon. It was an amazing trip, 5 days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorogoro. We had a very experienced and skilled guide, Khalifa, who showed us all the big five! He knew exactly where to go to get the best chance to see the different animals and he was very accommodating to our wishes the entire week.

A couple of mornings we wanted to go earlier, 6 am before everyone else, to be able to spot the animals hunting in the morning, and this was no problem. Our guide arranged so we could have the breakfast with us and later that morning he made us a beautiful breakfast picknick. That morning we managed to see a leopard eating his pray and a cheetah hunting gazelles in an enormous speed over the fields.

Khalifas excellent guiding made us see more animals than we would have been able to dream of. We saw tens of thousands of wildebeests and zebras, hundreds of different gazelles elephants giraffes buffalos and hippos, at least 50 lions, 3 leopards, 1 rhino, 2 cheetas and lots of other predators, flamingos, pelicans, eagles and other colorful birds which Khalifa knew all the names of and could tell a lot of facts about. The best park was Serengeti where we were completely alone most of the time, able to observe the animals without distraction from any other cars and were able to take all the pictures we wanted.

We were very curious and had a lot of questions. Our guide told us a lot about the areas we passed, how the people were living and he took us to a Masai village and an orphanage when we asked him. He was very kind and polite, his English skills were good enough, he drove safely and he was very careful that we would be satisfied with the trip.

We booked the trip through a Swedish travel agency, ToppAfrika AB, which in turn hires Sunny Safaris for the safari trips. The entire travel was smoothly arranged by Sunny Safaris, we had no problems during the trip, the accomodations were great and all time schedules were held. My husband and I travel a lot and this trip was one of the best things we have ever done. We can really recommend our guide Khalifa and Sunny Safaris.

Excellent, knowledgeable driver/guide.
5/5

We were accompanied by our driver/guide, Laurence, from Arusha to Manyara, Tarangire and the Crator and were looked after throughout and given good explanation of the places and wildlife we saw. The manor in which our tour was conducted by Simba Safaris was everything we had hoped it would be.

First safari and first time in Africa. They suggested perfect location and very good lodge. No problems with transfers and guide. They understood what we need and they gave us a nice solution.
When we'll go back in Africa we will certainly ask them.
