Your perfect choice of a safari company!!
5/5

I went on a four day safari with Asili explorer during my time in Tanzania and I can not recommend is company enough! It's perfect mix of a professional company with high expertise and a lot of knowledge but still suitable size where you feel it's personal and where every group is special to them.
If you look around and doubt what safari company to choice, CHOOSE Asili explorer! You will not regret putting your safari budget in their hands.
Kind regards Line, Denmark

I climbed Kilimanjaro guided by a wonderful tour guide Angelo. This was a unique experience as I managed to climb the summit and meet the sunrise over Africa.
I want to thank the whole team who accompanied me on the way up. All my stuff was properly carried, and Vitor-the-cook prepared lovely dishes up in the mountains.

Visiting SA for the first time, we didn't have any expectations, but what an amazing experience we were in for. Every day was a new adventure for us, and had us in awe each time.

Cape Town, was a dream, picturesque in every corner. Cuddled by the mountains on one side and an untouched Atlantic ocean on the other.
It was such an amazing chilled vibe, allowing you take life a little slow and soak it all in.
A little drive to Kalk Bay (colorful sea side town filled with cute little shops and boutique restaurants) to see some African Penguins in their natural habitat, via the beautiful Chapmans Peak, with a view of the South Atlantic ocean.
Be prepared for all weather conditions.

Rigter after we flew over to Johannesburg and opted for the 5 day Kruger Park Safari, and we were defnitley not disappointed.
Kruger National Park showed off in the best way posisble, giving us a view of the BIG 5 everyday but all in different settings.
We were blessed with our guide, Hoppy. His knowledge of the park was incredible, spotting the big 5 and alot of other animals, that the naked eye would have missed. Kruger National Park has some beautiful birds (normally overlooked by people only looking for the big 5), but he would point out their beautiful colors and sounds, and we would just get immersed.
He made sure that we had all our meals and stayed in some amazing properties, the first with a view of the hippos just chilling as they normally would, literally 15m away, and where elephants would come to graze as well.
We did a sunset tour while we stayed within the reserve at Satara, where we were literally a foot away from a Lion, just taking a nap, which would later come to have a sip of water just by the reserve.

On the way back, Hoppy took us along the Panorama Route, which is a whole other world of beautiful mountain ranges and lakes and colorful townships.

Thanks to Hoppy, we saw and learned so much more, and he gave us the time to just sometimes sit and enjoy it for awhile.

A piece of heaven on Earth! Great any time of the year. Suggest you visit during the rains as the clouds rolling into the crater is a photographers dream. Ensure that a good wide angle lens is in your camera kit along with all your zooms :) Also do not miss to see Oldupai Gorge in the Serengeti NP . This is where humanity started & there is a resident Red & yellow barbet which will allow you to get reaaaal close!

We spend a 4d / 3n safari with wild root and was not disappointed! Everything from the guide, to the lodges was very nice and we never felt anything was missing. Special praise should go to our guide Raymond who was amazing at spotting "the big five" among other cool stuff.

So very pleased, very recommendable!

About: Kenya
Beautiful people and exciting animals every day.
Overall rating
5/5

Even with all of the rain and flooding taking place in Kenya are experienced was amazing amazing. The people were beautiful and so willing to help and I could not believe all of the animals we were able to see every day.
Our trip was planned out in full detail by Esther. And our driver Duncan made everyday an adventure. We were able to visit three of the national parks and stayed in wonderful hotels along the way.
I cannot think of one thing. I would have changed other than maybe repairing a few pot holes in the roads, but it did not take away from our experience at all.

The E African " must see's " for me was Bwindi in Uganda, the Masai Mara in Kenya & the Serengeti in Tanzania. The Masai Mara is a rump of the Serengeti in Kenya (though better marketed). For sheer size as well as location , the Ngorongoro Crater in the Serengeti is breathtaking....The weather is good all year round & even during the wet season, the grass is green & the birds are plentiful. Also we get better rates in hotels in the off season, I recommend that a minimum one week is required to get a feel of the scale of this area as well as catch a small part of the Wildebeest migration. A day/2 days stay on a hotel perched on the rim of Ngorongoro crater is a MUST. (Especially with a wide angle lens). The quality of guides in E Africa is high when it comes to knowing the wildlife but it does not hurt to ask for a guide who knows birds if you are a avid birder. It helps to cut the chase & notch more birds in the time you have. The hotels on the rims are always crowded & the evenings are load & dinner is like on a cruise ship:). I suggest 2 days in a resort nearby in Karatu town for 2 days at the start or at the end of the trip. Just to unwind as the holiday will be packed right form early morning till evening:) A must see on any birders bucket list. A veritable Eden indeed!
