I went on this safari in August 2024, so technically at the end of the great migration, but we were still able to see many many wild beast and all the other animals! I saw 4/5 of the big 5 (rhino unfortunately did not want to be seen on my dates, but I'm still so very happy!)
Our driver Solomon was amazing and very knowledgeable with all the animal facts and where they could be found.
In the beginning there was a mix-up with my accomodation, but it was fixed in less than 30 minutes - so I'm happy about the customer service.
As a solo traveling female, I was anxious at first, but this group joining Safari felt very controlled and the Jombo Mara Lodges have locks on their doors so I felt safe at night.

We went on an 8-day safari with Henry, and it was our best experience. We saw the Big Five and learned a lot about animals and nature in Africa. Our safari started in Masai Mara, where we saw large herds of zebras and wildebeest. We recently returned from our 5-day honeymoon safari in Tanzania with Suricata Safaris, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! From the very start, they helped us create our dream itinerary, ensuring we visited all the parks we wanted, including an incredible hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.
Our journey took us through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti, and each park offered a unique and breathtaking experience. The accommodations were absolutely top-notch! For our first nights, we stayed at Suricata Boma Lodge, which had the most amazing view of Lake Manyara. We then moved to a camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where we were completely immersed in nature. Each lodge and camp was perfectly matched to the area and enhanced our experience in ways we could never have imagined.
