Best experience of my life!
5/5

If you are an amateur photographer (like myself) or more advanced, Pangolin accommodates all levels of photographers. With the guidance of Grant and Guts, I left with the most amazing wild life photos. I loved every minute and can't wait to return.
I can highly recommend it.

In my opinion Pilanesberg is too small to accommodate the number of people who go there.

This was our 3rd safari with Ajabu Adventures and it was exactly what we wantend to do!
5/5

In 2012 we went for the first time to Tanzania organized by Ajabu Adventures, we went to the Ngorogorocrater,Tarangire and Serengeti. We stayed in nice lodges and tents. Our drive, Jumah, is An excellent driver/guide and knows his way around and has a lot of knowlegde about the animals and birds. In 2013 we went again with Ajabu to Mikumi, Selous and Rouaha Pacs with the same driver. To very remote areas and beautiful nature. At the end of 2013 we went again, to see the migration in the Serengeti, which is absulutely a highlight. All the accomodations, good were excellent and we really enjoyed it so much and will certainly recommend Ajabu Adventures to friends.

Pangolin provides guests with an incredible African Safari experience, combined with the bonus element of photography. For someone who loves photography this is a must! Loved the experience, the service was fantastic, with easy going guides whose knowledge of both photography and wldlife is fantastic, what better way to spend your time! No need to have any photography experience or even a camera ... Camera's are provided and the guides will assist you if you have questions or want to learn how to take good photos AND you get to go home with your photos on dvd!

The Most Diverse National Park in South Africa
Overall rating
5/5

Addo is a triumph of conservation. Elephants were nearly exterminated in the early 1900's, with only 11 remaining when the area was preserved as a National Park. 80 years later, we saw elephants in abundance. South Africa is working to establish one mega park, extending a wildlife corridor from Volkert's River to the ocean. Thus, the photographic opportunities are fabulous, due to the diversity of landscape. In one sublime safari, you can experience grasslands, mountains and ocean. We drive a Land Rover Defender on our safari, but the park could easily be traversed in a salon car.

A superb experience
5/5

I would certainly recommend everyone who has enjoyed the bush in the past to spend a few days with Pangolin in Botswana. The instruction, access to photographic equipment and organisation is superb and gives you access to see wildlife through new eyes. It has improved our future trips to other parks as a result. Hugely hospitable, well organised and great fun.

Could not do better than Amani Afrika!
5/5

My wife and I have safari'd with Amani twice - first in 2010 and again in 2013. Temba and the team from Amani Afrika were outstanding on both occasions, making the safari booking process simple yet meeting all our needs.

Amani offer customised trips to do what you want, not to follow a schedule. We chose to travel through Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Taragaire National parks over 3 days, and we could not have had a better experience. Our driver was most professional, being very experienced and knowledgeable of the local area. He had a special knack of finding animals, and knowing where they would be located. To illustrate his knowledge, after observing a pride of lioness eating, he commented that they would be hungry afterwards and would be hunting soon. We left the lioness in peace, to return about 1 hour later to find the pride stalking hunting warthogs along the river bank. Watching the pride of lioness setup and initiate a hunt was a once in a lifetime experience. Fortunately for the warthog (and my wife!) the warthog managed to evade the lion's trap and escape unharmed!

The vehicle and the Accommodation were also of very good standard for the price, with good food and drinks provided in the package. Staying in a tented camp where you could look over the plains at zebra while the sun was setting was also a once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely travel with Amani Afrika again if we return to East Africa.

Closer to Dar, this is a better-known park, with also plenty of wildlife. Big cats often spotted.
