Excellent safari and very helpful staff
5/5

My girlfriend and myself went with Kanuth Adventure Safaris to a 3 day Selous safari. Our driver (Samuel) picked us up at the airport at 3:00 am. Turkish airlines lost our luggage, so Samuel called Kanuth and he talked with the lost and found staff, to send our luggage to the hotel in which we stayed after safari.

We were at Hippo camp which is very beautiful. Staff was very friendly and they made us feel like home. We had our own cook (Kanuth's brother), who served us very professionally. Samuel was trying very hard to show us as much animals as possible. He also told us a lot of interesting things about animals, their habbits, etc.

The funniest part of safari was walking safari with Bushman. This was fun!!!

When we came back to the hotel in Dar es Salaam, our luggage wasn't there (despite they had hotel adress, tel. number). Samuel and our cook offered to drive us to the airport to get our luggage. In the way back they drove us to the ferry ticket office (we got bussines class instead of economy class for the same price) and ATM. They spent additional 4 hours just to make things easier for us.

We would really recommend Kanuth Adventure Safaris. They care about you!

It was gorgeous.

Excelent safariexperience and well planned roundtrip with Wild Planet Safari.
5/5

We were two families, four adults, four youths, travelling with Wild Planet Safari 14 days in Eastern South Africa. First time in SA, first time on safari, so we were curious in what to expect.
We had a fantastic tour with Thale and Ryan, a tour showing us much of the variety in this huge country.
When we look back, the most fascinating part was at the start, in Kruger, where we camped at Skukuza. We went for both early morning drives, starting at daybreak, and afternoon trips.
We saw all possible animals to see out there, including big five, like lions with fresh catch (buffalo).
It was good to have Ryan there, spotting animals from long distance, hiding in the vegetation. If Ryan didn’t spot animals, well, then there where none there.
After Kruger we went to Royal Hlane in Swaziland. This park was less impressive than Kruger, but as the camp was situated near a waterhole, we had good view of animals like rhinos, elephants and impala.
Besides knowing everything about wildlife and nature, Ryan has very good knowledge for history, culture and sociallife of the areas visited, information shared with us, broadening our minds and giving another dimension to this wonderful experience.
Let me also mention the delicious food prepared by Thale and Ryan – most nights prepared on open fire outside. Very good meat served with different vegetables, meat and vegetables many of them new to us.
One thing to remember for those of you traveling this time of year, July/August; Bring warm clothes. Fortunately Wild Planet Safari did supply us with blankets while traveling the open safarivehicle early mornings.
We also visited St Lucia for hippos and crocs, the Durban area for some relaxation, and had a good stay in Drakensberg with two good hikes.
The best part of the trip, very well organized by the guys at Wild Planet Safari, was Kruger – spend some days there !

Outstanding Great Migration experience at Masai Mara
5/5

This was our 2nd safari with Gametrackers.
The first experience was very good, concerning overall organisation, booking details and contacts, guide, cook, everything.
By that time we stayed only 3 days at Masai Mara for the great migration, so this year we booked 7 days - 3 nights at their permanent camp near Talek Gate and 3 more at Iseyia bush camp near Mara Serena Lodge inside the Mara Triangle, having asked to allocate the same guide and cook.

Wow !!! 4 river crossings with 6 wildbeest taken by crocs, 4 leopards, black rhinos (the Big Five in a single day!), countless lion and cheetah in a diversity of settings and much, much more.
It was not only luck - the skills and overall wildlife knowledge of our guide were crucial, always looking for the correct timing and conditions in order to maximize chances of experiencing amazing events. Staying close to Mara River allowed him to constantly check for the positioning of the wildbeest herds, so we never had to wait more than 1 hour to see the crossings.
Once again, our cook prepared unbelievable meals under African camping settings.

Strongly recommended. We'll be back for Samburu and North Kenya with Gametrackers.

About: Go2Africa
Outstanding customer service and expertise
5/5

I live in the United States and was referred to Ramona at Go2Africa to help plan my week-long trip to South Africa. Ramona was extremely helpful in all aspects of the planning. Even when she was out of the office for a few days, she was able to have someone else continue the planning portion and answer any questions I had. The entire process was flawless and we had no issues with any of the reservations made by Go2Africa. They always had good recommendations on what to do, where to go, etc. In addition, I traveled to West Africa on business the week prior to my vacation and had made my own flight reservations from Nigeria to South Africa. A few hours before my flight, my reservation was lost and I was unable to make other flight arrangements. I called Ramona at Go2Africa and the team there was able to get me on a flight out within a few hours. I highly recommend the services provided by Go2Africa and will definitely utilize them again should I ever travel back to Africa.

A memorable trip to KwaZulu-Natal
5/5

A memorable family trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
Through our acquaintances we got in touch with Safari’s op Maat. Directly after our request Geert contacted us by phone to discuss our preferences. Very short after his call he sent us, within budget, a proposal of several pages including pictures through email.
The service Freya and Geert gave us was excellent, hospitality is their middle name! They arranged everything perfectly and gave us a lot of personal attention! We will never forget the first day. After a long flight Freya arranged a abundantly lunch in the middle of the wild park surrounded by animals, and this was just the beginning…
We visited several wild parks and every time we were surprised by the wonderful locations and beautiful lodges, a separate little camp of four huts with a cook, just for us, truly amazing!
The parks, all with their own charms, from which we started several (super exciting!) walking safaris and game drives with wonderful sights. Geert and Freya, with four eyes for detail, recognized the animals by sight and gave a lot of new information about the animals and their living area. Between the safaris, park visits and game drives we snorkeled in Kosi Bay, which was also a wonderful location, and interacted with elephants and a cheeta, amazing, to approach these animals so closely with the ultimate bonus to touch them!
This trip is certainly one we will never forget!

Perfect safari experience
5/5

We travelled alone, just my wife and me. Incredible. We wanted to do different things and they organized everything without any problem. We expended a lot of time doing game drive. The camping in general is perfectly organized and very comfortable aswell. But the best point is the crew. Sage is an experienced driver and a guide with a deep knowledge of wildlife. He explained us a lot of things about animal behavour and also different aspects of the country (traditions, history, orography...). Thula is a hardworker and a really funny guy (he showed me how to do a good fire). But you have to take care with the chef (I don't remember the name...sorry) because he made really nice meals and as a consequence I am on a diet. All of them made us feel like at home. So we strongly suggest you to do the safari with this company, if we come back, we will do.

I had wonderful services ever !
5/5

We had the greatest time doing safaris, cultural events, hiking, and beach with awesome support image description .

We had awesome communications and help with ALL the questions we had which were a lot but always more then willing to answer. They were more then willing to go out of their way helping with whatever was needed or asked of them always asking if there was anything else needed. Our guides were awesome especially Erick. He was the greatest spotting animals and his personality was double that and we both hated to part ways .

We had a situation where we left an item at a lodge but they made sure to get it to us. They exceeded our expectations greatly when we initially contacted 10 TO's
and also during the whole time we were on our trip of 23 days. We met the owners Simon and Lucia who are such a sweet young couple but you wouldn't know it by the great service they both provided.
We cant say enough good things about the service and support we received from wild root safaris and adventures from the very beginning till the very end.

About: Go2Africa
A fabulous once in a lifetime experience
5/5

We were two couples traveling to S. Africa, Zambia, and Botswana for the first time. We just completed a 15 day trip, returning on 9/11. We started to plan the trip over 8 months ago, and chose Go2Africa with some hesitation as there were not a lot of recent reviews available.

We planned this trip as a "once in a lifetime" trip, and worked with Mary Keet of Go2Africa. Our preference was to have everything taken care of - from pickup at the airport, lodging, air, private tours, etc. The only arrangements we made independently were the international flights to and from the USA to Johannesburg. We asked for high end camps and accommodations.

Mary Keet was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to our needs and was very patient as we provided feedback on itineraries. After the itinerary had been completed, the other couple suddenly realized that the dates did not work for them, and we had to change the dates by a week or so. Again Mary was very understanding, and had to make numerous changes as some of the camps were not available on the new dates. What I especially liked was the promptness in responding to my emails, as well as the ability to get a hold of Mary on the phone.

Our trip involved visiting Cape Town, Sabi Sands in the Kruger National Park, Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls), and two different camps in Botswana. My reviews of Exeter River Lodge, Sussi and Chuma, Nxabega Tented Camps, and Chiefs Camp can be found on Tripadvisor.com.

The entire trip was flawless and completely stress free. We were received at JNB and taken to the hotel (Intercontinental at the airport), and we had an morning flight to Capetown. We were received at the Capetown airport and taken to our hotel (Victoria Hotel), and the private guided tours were exactly according to our itinerary. When we decided to change what we wanted to do in Capetown on the second day, Go2Africa made it happen without any fuss. There was always someone waiting to greet us at every airport.

Every flight - including the charter flights between camps - were exactly as planned. We loved the itinerary that Mary put together, and we were happy with her choices for our lodging for the most part.

Bottom line, I would have no hesitation in recommending Go2Africa. We found them to be courteous, professional, patient, and their execution was flawless.
