Our tour operator was very professional and made sure to make the trip worthy every penny
5/5

I went to Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the amazing Ngorongoro Crater with Arisi Safaris, our guide had very sharp eyes to spot animals and he was so good to everyone in our family during safari. The plan for this safari from the beginning to the end was handled with a great professionalism. I saw the different pride of lions, rhino, cheetahs and so much zebras, gazelle, the wildebeests and much more. What took my breath away was the river crossing at Mara River. I will definitely travel again there and I would recommend Arisi Safaris to everyone planning a safari in Tanzania

Went on a Mosi Oa Tunya safari through Luna's and was not disappointed. Our tour guide DJ was knowledgeable, fun and overall great. He went above and beyond to find us animals and did everything he could to make sure we had a great time. I recommend this group with confidence.

Lack of communication
2/5

Complete lack of communication. Had us pay for a person that wasn’t even there! If a deposit means something different in Tanzania than America it would have been nice to know. African Big Cats advertises one lodge on their website but downgrades last minute to another. The downgraded lodge is on the complete opposite side (East/West-of Zanzibar) and rooms smell terribly of mold/mildew. Two safari days were not needed (the first and last). Those need to be removed from the itinerary completely. Note that most of these safari companies go to the same exact spots. As evidenced by the massive amount of jeeps at every stop and animal sighting. Skip African Big Cats and go with one of the MANY other companies. Our guides (Zab and Jumma) were good!!

Handled our travel chaos well
5/5

We had a bit of travel chaos, with a child falling ill. It was handled very graciously and compassionately by Kalahari Tours. I’d definitely recommend them.

Tony planned a perfect Uganda tour for 15 days for us as a family
5/5

We approached Maleng Travel with the desire to do a 15 day Uganda trip as a family with our 15 year old son.
The tour planned by Toni was an unforgettable experience for us as well as for our son. Of the 2600 km driven and the 15 days we would not have wanted to miss a meter and a second.
Our round trip took us to the extreme north to Kidepo National Park and then led us across the west to Rwanda with a return flight from Kigali.
One of the highlights of the tour was the accommodation, which was very idyllic and often run by local communities.
Even spontaneous actions such as a rafting tour on the Nile could be realised easily.
Such a tour stands and falls of course always with the driver and guide .
We had the best!
Always in a good mood, with a very good eye for all animals and birds, he has brought us reliably and safely to every place of the tour.
We thank Toni for this great trip and can Maleng Travel only warmly recommend.

Jonathan was an excellent guide. We saw all the Big 5 and the wildebeest migration! The accommodations were great and the booking process was easy.

"Serengeti Clarity" - Look no further if you are looking forward to an AMAZING safari experience!
5/5

I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a 14-day private safari tour in Tanzania and Zanzibar with Serengeti Clarity, a local travel company. From the very beginning, my experience with them was exceptional.

Our journey began with Frank, the organizer, who promptly responded to our inquiries and crafted a fully personalized and customized travel plan based on our dates, budget, and interests. He also suggested excellent hotels. We were very impressed with his selection and attention to detail, especially considering that the whole trip was planned less than a month before our arrival to Tanzania.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine, roses, and safari hats, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure. Our private tour guide was not only knowledgeable but also an excellent driver, ensuring our comfort throughout the safari. In the course of the safari, we observed all the big 5 including some “up-close and personal”, sitting just feet away from our safari Jeep. We experienced a sitting of a lion and leopard eating their kill. We saw lions with cubs, cheetahs with cubs attacked by a hyena, a myriad of elephants, giraffes, armies of zebra and wildebeest, and best of all - the best sightings of the “great migration” over Mara River on both Tanzania and Kenya side. Our guide(Emanuel) kept us safe, hydrated, and well-fed and even provided a portable router for Wi-Fi access. His expertise in spotting animals in the park and communication with other drivers enhanced our wildlife viewing experience.

The accommodations Frank selected for us in each park were outstanding, and the picnic lunches were delightful. After the safari, we had the pleasure of visiting the pristine white sand beaches of Zanzibar, staying in one of the finest resorts with impeccable customer service.

What stood out the most during our journey was the sense of safety and warmth we felt in Tanzania. Navigating the country was surprisingly easy, thanks to the excellent organization by Serengeti Clarity and Frank who checked on us on a daily basis to make sure that we had a superb experience.

Tanzania far exceeded our expectations, and we owe this remarkable experience to Serengeti Clarity's well-organized safari at a reasonable price. I highly recommend booking a customized tour with them for an adventure that not only meets but exceeds all expectations. This journey was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Amazing, eye-opening experience with our friendly and professional guide, Samuel.
5/5

LuLu Safaris gave us the experience of a lifetime. We had very specific requirements (we needed to come back to Kampala for a wedding in the middle of a 9 day safari), and Elvis was very accommodating with the logistics, even though we had to make several changes to our itinerary before arriving. Communication was always prompt and there was never any issue making the changes we needed.

Our time in Uganda was a combination of game drives, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, boat cruises, chimp trekking and gorilla trekking. All of which were fantastic for their own reasons, but the Gorilla trekking truly is a once in a lifetime experience that photos can’t do justice. On our game drives we saw a lot of giraffes, buffalo, antelope, warthogs, monkeys of various types, hippos, elephants, a few lions and even a leopard (and innumerable birds, including the country’s eponymous grey crowned crane). We even had a magical moment on our Kazinga channel cruise where we saw a family of 7 elephants come down to the water to drink.

We had a wonderful time with our driver and guide, Samuel, who was with us through Murchison, Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth. He was a super nice guy, really knowledgable about the animals and was always able to spot things which we could barley see. Samuel also had a great spirit of hospitality (as did everyone we met in Uganda!), was very friendly and always made sure we were on schedule. He was even able to source us another vehicle within 1 hr when our car had clutch trouble on the last day. He made every effort to make sure we had a seamless experience, and we did! He also made sure we had opportunities to stop and buy fruit and snacks from street vendors which was a fun part of the experience.

Booking direct with LuLu is also great value for money. Some friends did a similar tour but booked with through a US agency and it was almost 2x the price. For having a driver and guide 24 hours a day, accommodation with three meals included, this was a really good deal.

I would absolutely recommend to anyone else considering Africa to try LuLu safaris.
