AMAZING AND LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE.
For a long time we were planning to go on a Safari. Especially since our father’s had a great love for animal’s and nature.
It was a dream for us to go on a Safari and since our father’s are no longer alive, we wanted our memory of them to continue while on this Safari.
It was a privilege to book this Safari with TANZANIA ROADSIDE EXPEDITIONS.
The owner Paul Justine was committed to us from the very beginning to the very end of the Safari.
He was always available to us when we needed questions to be answered even before the Safari started.
That is simply just dedication on his part to his clients.
The hotel’s that he booked for us during our Safari each day were amazing and it included all our meals and refreshments when we were on the road.
We were picked up at the airport and were taken for our first night at the Gran Melia Arusha. After Paul helped to check us in, we had a meeting on the details of our Safari for the next 4 days.
The next morning we got to meet our tour guide Ezekiel Elias.
First impression of Ezekiel is that he was on time and very enthusiastic. You could tell he was excited about his job and sharing his knowledge with people.
Our first destination was to the Tarangire National Park which is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. The park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.
We spent our second night at the Escarpment Luxury Lodge where Ezekiel assisted us to check-in.
On our third day we headed to the
Serengeti National Park. We understand that this Park is the world’s last largest great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals. Furthermore, the area covers 14,763 square feet and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai 'Siringet', meaning endless plains. Amazing!!
We had an opportunity to meet one of the tribes called the Masai Tribe. They were very welcoming and explained to us about their daily lives.
After Ezekiel checked us in at the Serengeti Melia Lodge for our third night.
We spent half a day in Serengeti and later the next morning we went to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.
This crater is called the eighth natural wonder of the world and is the largest intact crater in the world. For our last night Ezekiel drove us to the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge to check-in.
The next day we descend into the crater for a tour. Before heading to the Kilimanjaro International airport for our flight to Dar-es-Salaam.
Ezekiel took the initiative and stopped off and took a small video of Mount Kilimanjaro since my husband climbed up 18,000 feet when he was in the Boy Scouts. Ezekiel knew how much this meant. We were shortly now going to say bye to a close friend who we came to know over the past few days from the Safari.
The Safari that was booked for us was an amazing experience and completed with great detail.
The memories we experienced will always be cherished for the rest of our lives.
We highly recommend booking your Safari with TANZANIA ROADSIDE EXPEDITIONS. Furthermore, it was Paul Justine and Ezekiel Elias that made one of our dreams come true.
We thank you Paul and Ezekiel.

Great Safarii Game
We have been on a 6 day Safarii - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli. We had a great driver and can see a lot of animals. On the second day we had big five in a photo wallet. We upgraded budget version (camp) to the lodges what was a great idea - the Jumbo lodge in Masai Mara and AA Lodge in Amboseli was realy excellent for a fair price - I strongly recomend it. Benson was also very helpful - arrange extra transfer from the airport to the hotel and help to arrange a train from Amboseli to Mombasa because we didn't want to go back to Nairobi, not to loose time. The whole organization was excellent except a small misunderstanding on a last day. We had to pay extra for a privet transfer to the train station which was not actually a privet but a group transfer and the cost should be different.

Recently, Me and my mother went on a 4-day safari in Tanzania with Kanje Grand Tours. Iddi, our guide, displayed exceptional knowledge of wildlife and was a true expert in navigating the the parks. Innocent, the safari organizer, ensured answered all the questions we had to ask from the fist message through WhatsApp to the last one, it was fabulous. Punctual, professional and respectful.
I first met and worked with Joseph, the team leader at Allied Car Hire and Transportation in 2011 during our Film Labs where as young professionals we were learning the aspects of Filmmaking.
Looking at him and the company, I am inspired by their growth and level of consistency they have made over the years.
Somehow, for the past one decade, he and the team has maintained high level of professionalism, punctuality, humour and hospitality.
The most recent trips with the company was in October 2023 where we went to Mbale and Pakwach for Film Bootcamps and his services never felt sort even once.
I strongly recommend their services to anyone who would like to book travels across East Africa. Their rates are user friendly and once you use them once, I'm most certain the next time you or your family or your family needs to travel, you will make that dial or drop an email.
Cheers.

Perfect trip!
We have spent 6 days with Soul of Madagascar through the south of Madagascar and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Enock was always very helpful while planning the tour, answering us very quickly and giving his thoughts regarding our plans, providing all the information we needed and being able to accommodate everything we wanted. Unfortunately we had a flight cancellation shortly before our trip which could’ve put it in danger but Enock was very creative to find solution and miraculously arranged everything so we wouldn’t miss our days at Ile aux Nattes. He knows Madagáscar like the palm of his hands, will teach you a lot about the country’s culture, take you to the most perfect spots and arrange you the most interesting and dedicated guide at the national parks you are going to visit. Everything was fantastic: the places where we ate, the stays and, of course, our brilliant driver: “Lanteau” (probably this isn’t the way to spell; I’m sorry!). Plus, he is a magnificent English speaker, which is hard to find since the majority of the guides only speak French. More than a guide and a trip, with Soul of Madagascar we got a friend and we can’t wait to come back to let him show us the rest of this beautiful country! Thank you, Enock!

A professional quality service for a correct price
We received very quick and exhaustive replies from this agency. Joseph has been very professional and helpful to fulfill our requests based on our interests and budget. He has always been correct and as soon as we payed the deposit we received the payment receipt. He also stayed in touch with us during the tour to be sure that everything was ok.
We had a private 2-days safari at the Masai Mara park + one day at the Naivasha lake staying in good accomodations for a correct price.
We had the great luck to have Sam as our driver and guide: he is a very good person, brilliant and friendly, helpfull and kind. A safe driver always on time, open to our changes and requests. He has a great knowledge of the local culture, of the parks and the animals so he made our experiece very interesting. He has always tried to make our tour more confortable and fun and the safari the best as possible so we really suggest to ask for him.
In conclusion, our experience in Kenya has been very amazing thanks to Majestic quest tours & travels and to Sam so we really raccomand them!

Deceiving, not professional, stay away!
Abbey from Lush African Safari responded to my Safari booking request for a quote with a very expensive package for a 14 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. The quote had places’ names and pics of cars and accommodation included. Upon arrival to Kenya I found out none of the places he quoted were actually available at the time he sent me that quote. In fact, he did ask me to pay immediately to book everything, which I did, but it was just a scam since the places weren’t available. And he hired local companies that book something else. He even tried to put me in a minivan instead of a landrover in Kenya, which at least at last minute the local company was able to fix. In Amboseli, he sent me to a tent instead of a nice 3-4 start hotel I paid, I was scared for my life there. Not a joke. Solo woman traveler I paid more to him, a company based in USA, to guarantee that this situation didn’t happen :(
In Tanzania he tried to send me to another tent and I was literally crying that day contacting the Safaribooking team begging to please not to be sent to a tent. I paid for a nice hotel, he was making up all sort of reasons why me going to a tent was best for me, among them so I can see the great migration.
He didn’t even know I already saw the great migration in Kenya!
Finally they sent me to a hotel, not like the one promised but I was so grateful for having walls and feel safe that I didn’t mind. Both local tours realized what was been done and were very sympathetic. I’d strongly recommend to use those companies directly, they will be honest and not lure you with some pics. I paid thousands of dollars to stay in the nicest hotel with great food and they sent me to a tent without electricity, shower outside that actually didn’t work, he gave me a $300 refund which felt like an insult, but I was powerless.
When I told him he couldn’t just go against the client wishes and going to a tent instead of nice accommodations I booked were not my wishes he said: “we are going to have to agree to disagree”. So he feels he is in power to sent you wherever he wants regardless of what you paid for. Here is another, when I send the pics he sent me of a fancy place that I paid for and the ones of the horrible tent he was sending me to, his response was:”some places take deceiving pics”. We have internet and the local tours were honest so they did told me how wonderful the other places I had in the quote were and how they didn’t compared in location food quality and overall with what I was given.

Very good reception from one of the sales ladies by the name Lina.
Engatuny Luxury Safaris is the best home of Safari where you get the value of your money from their good quality services in Kenya. Their services are very much reliable compared to the other safari and tour companies i have ever used in Africa. Their staff are very much welcoming, there services are more reliable too. I could feel like this should be my next home in future safaris and any time i travel to Kenya.
I compliment Engatuny for their support they gave me with my team from Australia and the whole of my Australian family. Congratulations Engatuny.Keep going and keep shining and see you when i visit Kenya next time soon. Your services are professional and worthy.
